GAIN UNDERSTANDING

FAITH CAPSULE: Are you with the understanding of God in the journey of life?

Psalm 106

Lack of understanding of the wonders of God is so critical to terminate arrival at the promise of God.
With the lack of understanding of the wonders of God, one will not remember the mercies of God.
One that does not remember the mercies of God is bound to become rebellious to the word of God.
Psalm 106:7 records the testimony of the lack of understanding of the wonders of God by the Israelites, “Our fathers in Egypt did not understand Your wonders; they did not remember the multitude of your mercies but rebelled by the sea-the Red Sea.”
Does the word speak to you?
Are you one with a lack of understanding of the wonders of God?
Lack of understanding of the Israelites is the root of rebellion and the complaint, particularly a negative confession.
Numbers 14:1-4 records the complaint of the Israelites,“…And all the children of Israel complained against Moses and Aaron, and the whole congregation said to them, “If only we had died in the land of Egypt! Or if only we had died in this wilderness! Why has the LORD brought us to this land to fall by the sword, that our wives and children should become victims? Would it not be better for us to return to Egypt…?”
As the Israelites lack understanding with negative confession, are you doing the same before God?
Every complaint before God is a sin that will provoke consequences.
The Israelites repeatedly complaint before God to experience painful consequences.
God responds to the complaint of the Israelites in Numbers 14:28-29“Say to them, ‘As I live,’ says the LORD, ‘just as you have spoken in My hearing, so I will do to you: The carcasses of you who have complained against Me shall fall in this wilderness…”
Are you with the understanding of God not to live a life of repeated complaint?
Understanding is not of the mouth but the heart.
Understanding is critical to living right before God.
Understanding the wonders of God will always cause one to remember and not to become one with rebellious character. Proverbs 16:22 testifies that “Understanding is a wellspring of life to him who has it…”
Wellspring is a source of abundant supply. With understanding, you will have an abundance of life that Jesus brought for all. Jesus declares it, “…I have come that they may have life and that they may have it more abundantly.” (John 10:10)
In the journey of life, have the desire for understanding to gain abundant life by Christ Jesus.
The Israelites lack the understanding of God to become wasted in the wilderness.
Forgetting the works of God cannot be separated from the lack of understanding of the doings of God.
Psalm 106:13-14 refers to the Israelites, “They soon forgot His works; they did not wait for His counsel, but lusted exceedingly in the wilderness, and tested God in the desert.”
To be forgetting the works of God and lacking understanding will position such outside of the expected end.

Prayer for today: Ask that you will not live a life waste.

OBEDIENCE TO GOD

FAITH CAPSULE: Are you living a life of obedience or disobedience?

Genesis 22

The word of God demands obedience to His word. The word of God is with promises to be manifested in the life one with obedient to God, living life obeying God. In the journey of life, it is to live life as commanded by God.
Are you living a life of obedience or disobedience?
Obedience to God will drive the obedient one to arrive at the divine assignment, but disobedience will derail not to reach as expected before God.
Abraham lived a life of obedience to the word of God. God called him out of his land and his family when he answered obediently to God. The test of God for Abraham was his obedience for answering the calling to go and sacrifice Isaac, his son. Genesis 22:1-3 records: “Now it came to pass after these things that God tested Abraham, and said to him, “Abraham!” And he said, “Here I am.” Then He said, “Take now your son, your only son Isaac, whom you love, and go to the land of Moriah, and offer him there as a burnt offering on one of the mountains of which I shall tell you.” So Abraham rose early in the morning and saddled his donkey, and took two of his young men with him, and Isaac his son; and he split the wood for the burnt offering, and arose and went to the place of which God had told him.”
The obedience of Abraham counted as a faith that positioned him for the divine assignment. (Hebrews 11:8)
Abraham obeyed; he could not fail before God but was able to claim the promises of God for his life. (Hebrews 11:17)
Just like Abraham, any obedient to the word of God will arrive at the assignment of God. How is your journey of life in obedience to God?
In the journey of life, there is no reasonable excuse for disobedience to God.
Claiming to be living a life of obedience is easier said than done.
Live a life of obedience before God that sees all ways of life under heaven.
To live a life with the fear of God is encased in the humble and become obedient to God continually.
The word of God will cause tenderness of heart to be a place for humility.
Without humility, obedience is not possible. Philippians 2:8 records of Jesus, “…humbled Himself and became obedient to the point of death, even the death of the cross.”
The humble will fear God.
Do you fear God indeed and in truth?
To be lost from the word of God will be disobedient to lose the rightful position in God.

Prayer for today: Pray to Know God, to fear Him.

HEART TO GOD

FAITH CAPSULE: A given heart to God is bound to fear Him.

Deuteronomy 4

Today, the majority no longer fear God with their heart but with the mouth. Unfortunately, one that does not understand the fear of God does not know God. Proverbs 2:5 buttresses, “Then you will understand the fear of the Lord, and find the knowledge of God.”
Is it possible that your selfishness has closed you not to be mindful of God and not know Him the evidence of living life as a foolish one?
To live life, do not be fooled because it is foolish to say there is no God.
A selfish heart that is not mindful of God is bound to be far from God. Proverbs 14:1 identifies, “The fool has said in his heart, “There is no God.” They are corrupt, they have done abominable works, there is none who does good.”
As self-minded, you are not with the fear of God, but you have displaced God in your life, the automatic route into the path of eternal damnation.
Without any compromise, the will of God for all is to fear God.
No one is born to this world with the knowledge to fear God.
The knowledge to fear God comes from learning in the word of God.
Deuteronomy 31:12-13 buttresses the need to learn and fear God saying, “Gather the people together, men and women and little ones, and stranger who is within your gates, that they may hear and that they may learn to fear the LORD your God and carefully observe all the words of this law, “and that their children, who have not known it, may hear and learn to fear the LORD your God as long as you live in the land which you cross the Jordan to possess.”
Pray to Know God, to fear Him.
Deuteronomy 4:29 identifies what it takes to find God, “…seek the Lord your God, and you will find Him if you seek Him with all your heart and with all your soul.”
Do not be deceived but fear God from the depth of your heart.
Today, search for yourself to know your stand the way you live life.
Living a life that is all about you is evidence of selfishness and not being mindful of God.
Come out of selfishness, live life to reflect the mindset on God.
It is not right to live a life of selfishness.
Selfishness can be unconscious for self-destruction.
Live life for God, not for yourself.

Prayer for today: Pray before God to enable you to live a life for His glory.

GOD WILL DO

FAITH CAPSULE: One thing God cannot do is: GOD CAN NOT FAIL.

Joshua 6

With faith, what you are engaging before God that is yet to become manifest is not the evidence that God does not hear and will not answer. Faith is to know that God will answer with yes, no, or wait.
Do not stop seeking God, the evidence of faith in engaging God. Know to be persistent in engaging before God, resist delay of manifestation to insist on God that is not partial to do for one and will also do for all that seek His face in asking.
Peter testifies, “In truth, I perceive that God shows no partiality.” (Acts 10:34)
Romans 2:11 declares, “For there is no partiality with God.”
Keeping the testimonies of God is sharing the testimonies of God.
Vice versa sharing the testimonies of God is keeping the testimonies of God.
Psalm 119:2 informs all, “Blessed are those who keep His testimonies, Who seek Him with the whole heart!”
What you are asking from God that is yet to become manifest is not the evidence of impossibility.
God is the perfect One, the unfailing creator that does not sleep nor slumber but will convert impossibility to possibility. Luke 1:37 testifies, “For with God nothing will be impossible.”
God reverses irreversible, and with God, concerning your challenges, there is nothing impossible to become possible.
Also, know that God is the unchanging changer, is the same God yesterday, today, and tomorrow.
God is not a partial God to anyone that will understand and know God by His way, for His way through His word.
The record of the word of God is for healing and deliverance. Psalm 107:20 testifies, “He sent His word and healed them, and delivered them from their destructions.”
Approach God with what you are asking from Him, remind Him concerning His testimony of what He has done, knowing that He is not a partial God not to answer you.
The word of God is His testimony. The word of God is His work.
The word of God encourages all to command Him concerning for His word. (Isaiah 45:11)
The word of God also demands, “Put Me in remembrance; Let us contend together; State your case, that you may be acquitted.” (Isaiah 43:26)
There are cases in the pages of the Bible to remind God to seek Him for what you are engaging Him for His answer for your expectation, and He will not ignore His promise.
At all times, with faith not in doubt, know to remind God, He is not a partial God and will not fail to remember you.
There is no one with exception facing challenges.
The Israelites came out of the bondage of over four hundred years in Egypt, going to the promise of God, to the Promised Land.
Pharaoh failed to hold them back, and the Red Sea could not deny them to drown them.
However, the wall of Jericho attempted to derail and displace the promise of God over the Israelites but failed.
What is it with an attempt to deny, derail or displace the promise of God for over your life?
Put God in remembrance to deliver you as He delivered the Israelites.

Prayer for today: Ask for the mercy of God over your life.

DOUBT CAPTIVES

FAITH CAPSULE: Give regard to God not to become a captive of doubt.

Matthew 14

What makes up a man will be the mark of what it takes to live life.
Giving self to doubt is the avenue to self-destruction.
Give regard to God, to know Him, and not to become a captive of doubting God.
Do not doubt, do not limit, or despise the power of the word of God. Proverbs 13:13 warns“He who despises the word will be destroyed, but he who fears the commandment will be rewarded.”
Give regard to the word of God, know and patiently live by His word to experience the termination of struggle or challenge in any area of life. Psalm 34:19 encourages, “Many are the afflictions of the righteous, But the Lord delivers him out of them all.”
The word of God is the power to do and undo as directed to address life challenges.
Hebrews 4:12 describes the word, “For the word of God is living and powerful, and sharper than any two-edged sword, piercing even to the division of soul and spirit, and of joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart.”
Give regard to the word of God, deny doubt in your thought or action.
Word is indeed living, powerful, and sharper to terminate challenges to the glory of God.
In your challenge, why not give regard to the word of God to miracle in the place of mockery?
Disallow doubt!
Jeremiah testifies the identity of the word of God, “Your words were found, and I ate them, and Your word was to me the joy and rejoicing of my heart; For I am called by Your name, O Lord God of hosts.” (Jeremiah 15:16)
Do not doubt to limit or despise the power of the word of God.
Give regard to the word of God to answer you if you will work the word of God.
Working the word of God is labor.
Laboring the word of God is obeying the word of God diligently; laboring the word of God is choosing to do the word of God instead of doing what the world says. Deuteronomy 28:1-2 states, “Now it shall come to pass, if you diligently obey the voice of the Lord your God, to observe carefully all His commandments which I command you today, that the Lord your God will set you high above all nations of the earth. And all these blessings shall come upon you and overtake you because you obey the voice of the Lord your God.” The word confirms the reason to engage word laboriously and not doubt the word of God.
Laboring the word of God is without a doubt but will deliver the blessing of God.
Do not doubt the word of God, but do the word of God.

Prayer for today: Ask not to live a life of waste.
