CONTINUOUSLY

FAITH CAPSULE: Engage the following to be mindful of God.

1 Samuel 23

MEDITATE THE WORD OF GOD CONTINUALLY
Meditating the word of God is communicating with God day and night to gain and retain the presence of God.
After the death of Moses, God spoke to Joshua, pointing out the success for him is rooted in meditating His word continually.
Joshua 1:7-8, “Only be strong and very courageous, that you may observe to do according to all the law which Moses My servant commanded you; do not turn from it to the right hand or to the left, that you may prosper wherever you go. 8 This Book of the Law shall not depart from your mouth, but you shall meditate in it day and night, that you may observe to do according to all that is written in it. For then you will make your way prosperous, and then you will have good success.”
Meditating the word of God Day and night is bound to be mindful of God.
One that is mindful of God shall prosper in life and experience success in the journey of life to the glory of God.
TO ALWAYS INQUIRE BEFORE GOD
Inquiring is an approach to asking questions, making discoveries for what is not known, to gain understanding and knowledge.
One that is quick in inquiring before God lives as one after the mind of God.
Inquiring from God in faith, not in doubt, is the evidence one after the heart of God.
One that inquires with faith is not with doubt that acknowledges God with the mind.
When the Philistines are fighting against Keilah, David and his people have to fight the Philistines.
Without a doubt, David needed to inquire from God if to go against the Philistines. 1 Samuel 23:2-3 records, “David, inquired of the lord, saying, “Shall I go and attack these Philistines?” And the Lord said to David, “Go and attack the Philistines and save Keilah. But David’s men said to him, “Look, we are afraid here in Judah. How much more then if we go to Keilah against the armies of the Philistines? The answer from God for David was encouraged to go to war but, his surroundings (his people) were a discouragement.
David was with faith not to assume going to war against the Philistine.
1 Samuel 23:4 records, “Then David inquired of the Lord once again. And the Lord answered him and said, “Arise, go down to Keilah. For I will deliver the Philistines into your hand.”
David could not assume, could not be discouraged but repeatedly asked from God with no doubt.
One that gives self to the word of God shall be built in faith and be mindful of God.
In this wicked world, be mindful of God, give yourself to prayer and the word of God continually, not live a life of waste.
Be mindful of God!

Prayer for today: Ask God to enable you to be meditating before Him day and night, and you will not be occupied by the affairs of the word, to deny you from meditating, to become mindful of Him.

BE MINDFUL OF GOD

FAITH CAPSULE: Have the desire to be mindful of God.

Psalm 8

Many acclaims to be a BELIEVER but not true, not know that a believer is with the mind for God.
Do you have a mind for God that is after the heart of God?
Are you heedful or attentive to God as a way of living life?
Yes or no, are you?
Before answering as a believer, think, search yourself if you are indeed one that is mindful of God.
Without having the mind of God, one cannot answer as a believer.
All are with the mind but not knowing that the majority mind is blinded yet claiming wrongly as a believer. 2Corinthians 4:4 points out, “whose minds the god of this age has blinded, who do not believe, lest the light of the gospel of the glory of Christ, who is the image of God, should shine on them.”
The majority are not mindful of God but empty of God.
To be empty of God is occupied by the world to be blinded and not believe.
Are you mindful of the word of God (God) or mindful of the world?
God is mindful of anyone mindful of Him.
God testifies David in 1 Samuel 13:14 that David is a man after His own heart, “…The Lord has sought for Himself a man after His own heart…”
God continually looks for one that is mindful of Him.
David, a man after the mind of God, knows to ask from God why God is mindful of man in Psalm 8:4, “What is man that You are mindful of him, And the son of man that You visit him? “
To have a mind of God is not by determination but by desire. Know to ask that God will enable you by depositing in you with His word to be mindful of Him.
Hebrews 8:10-12 states, “For this is the covenant that I will make with the house of Israel after those days, says the Lord: I will put My laws in their mind and write them on their hearts, and I will be their God, and they shall be My people. 11 None of them shall teach his neighbor, and none his brother, saying, ‘Know the Lord,’ for all shall know Me, from the least of them to the greatest of them. 12 For I will be merciful to their unrighteousness, and their sins and their lawless deeds I will remember no more.” God wants all to be mindful of Him.
Have the desire to be mindful of God, pray, without ceasing, ask to be enabled.

PRAYER:

Ask that God will put His word (law) in your mind as He promised the Israelites and to stamp them on your heart to live life as His own in all the days of life He has given you.

Ask that the mind for God shall make you be in a position of having His mercy continually in the life journey that your unrighteous and sins shall not remember before Him.

BE A BELIEVER

FAITH CAPSULE: Many answers as a believer but, not know God to be living by the word of God.

John 8

Many know about God, but how many know Him?
Jesus speaks to all in John 8:12, “I am the light of the world. He who follows Me shall not walk in darkness, but have the light of life.”
It is not possible to follow God and not know Him.
In John 8:14, Jesus testifies, “…I know where I came from and where I am going, but you do not know where I come from and where I am going.”
Jesus points out that one that does not know God will not know Him. (John 8:19)
One that does not know Jesus will not follow Him and not abide in Him. Jesus also said that the ones that do not believe Him will die in sin. (John 8:24)
John 8:31-32 records the word of Jesus, “If you abide in My word, you are My disciples indeed. And you shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free.”
To know Him is to believe in Him, know Him to abide in Him, and be free indeed.
To follow Jesus is to abide in Him the evidence to believe in Him.
Jesus also declares that they did not UNDERSTAND Him is rooted in not LISTENING to Him. John 8:43 records, “Why do you not understand My speech? Because you are not able to listen to My word.”
Having a listening disability is the key not to UNDERSTAND JESUS.
Jesus speaks the truth, but the truth is bitter that is not acceptable from Him.
The world of wicked does not like the truth.
In John 8:45, Jesus said, “But because I tell the truth, you do not believe Me.”
The word of God is the truth. Hearing the truth will abide, follow, believe and do according to the word of God.
John 8:47 records, “He who is of God hears God’s words; therefore you do not hear, because you are not of God.”
Without doubt, Jesus warns emphatically to all, “Most assuredly, I say to you, if anyone keeps My word he shall never see death.”(John 8:51)
know and understand to give yourself to the word of God the evidence of one that knows God, not just know about God.
Be living by the word of God answering as a believer.
The word of God identifies what becomes a believer of God in truth:
Mark 5:36 records the word of Jesus, “…Do not be afraid; only believe.”
Mark 9:23, “If you can believe, all things are possible to him who believes.”
Mark 11:24 records, “Therefore I say to you, whatever things you ask when you pray, believe that you receive them, and you will have them.”
John 3:15 records, “whoever believes in Him should not perish but have eternal life.”
Many know about God, but how many know Him?
It is those who know God, not just know about that stands to claim the word of Gods as a believer.

Prayer for today: Ask that you will know to live life as a believer of God.

WHO ARE YOU?

FAITH CAPSULE: Wickedness one in the heart knows self.

Psalm 73

God will not execute against wicked speedily but at His appointed time.
God creates all and knows all.
There is nothing hidden from God.
God is God and the only God that judges all at His appointed time.
Wickedness is before God that sees all things.
Genesis 6:5 records, “Then the Lord saw that the wickedness of man was great in the earth and that every intent of the thoughts of his heart was only evil continually.”
Wickedness is not by season, but it is a continual happening in the world.
Do you wonder why wickedness is continual?
Ecclesiastes 8:11-13 states, “Because the sentence against an evil work is not executed speedily, therefore the heart of the sons of men is fully set in them to do evil. Though a sinner does evil a hundred times, and his days are prolonged, yet I surely know that it will be well with those who fear God, who fear before Him. But it will not be well with the wicked; nor will he prolong his days, which are as a shadow, because he does not fear before God.”
God alone is God and will not be intimidated to judge out of His appointed.
Are you walking in the word of God or walking in the wickedness of the world?
What is your mind before God?
Are you living a life of wicked one consciously or unconsciously?
God knows the wicked one if one denies or accepts to be one.
Jeremiah 17:9-10 states, “The heart is deceitful above all things, and desperately wicked; who can know it? I, the LORD, search the heart; I test the mind, even to give every man according to his ways, according to the fruit of his doings.”
Can you identify if you are wicked or not wicked?
Psalm 73 identifies some glaring wicked heart:
Pride serves as their necklace.
Violence covers them like a garment.
Their eyes bulge with abundance.
They have more than a heart could wish.
They increase in riches.
They scoff and speak wickedly concerning oppression.
They speak loftily (arrogantly)
They set their mouth against the heavens, and their tongue walks through the earth.
Are you one that is claiming the word of God but not living life by the word of God?
It is wickedness to be living outside of God to incur the sentence of God at the appointed time of God.
Today, come out of wicked ways to avoid the sentence of God against evil work.
As regards the wickedness of the wicked ones, Jeremiah speaks before God, “Righteous are You, O Lord when I plead with You; yet let me talk with You about Your judgments. Why does the way of the wicked prosper? Why are those happy who deal so treacherously? You have planted them, yes, they have taken root; they grow, yes, they bear fruit…” (Jeremiah 12:1-2)
Keep your heart diligently not to become a wicked one before God.
The judgment of God does not sleep but is alive at His appointed time.
Do not count against the appointed time of the judgment of God.

Prayer for today: Ask that the fear for God become your garment not to be wicked

BE STRONG AND COURAGEOUS

FAITH CAPSULE: Be strong and courageous to live by the word of God.

Joshua 1

Moses was strong and courageous to do as commanded by God. The word of God testifies that he observes the word of God consistently because he gave his self to meditate on the word of God. (Joshua 1:1-7)
To be Meditating the word of God by the day and night is communicating with God.
Below, with understanding, meditate as the word speaks in your direction.
LIVE LIFE TO SERVE GOD RIGHT
To fear God is rooted in having faith by hearing the word of God. Romans 10:17 admonishes, “So then faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the word of God.”
Know God by His word to fear Him.
Fear God to obey Him.
Obedience is serving God.
Serving God by attending church, answering as a church member for all life, or making church home does not add enough to serving God.
Serving God is encased in having fear for God. Psalm 2:11 said it all, “Serve the Lord with fear…”
With fear, serve God and be counted righteous before God.
Pray to live life for God.
EXPECT TO GET WHAT YOUR GIVE
In life, “whatever a man sow is what a man will reap”
As close as banana and plantain look alike, to reap bananas in the place of plantain will not happen, regardless of how look-alike they appear.
What are you sowing to reap?
Hosea 10:12 buttresses, “Sow for yourselves righteousness; reap in mercy.”
In your ways of life, become one with merciful to experience the mercy of God. Matthew 5:7 records, “Blessed are the merciful, for they shall obtain mercy.”
Be merciful to be able to attain the mercy of God in your ways of life.
THE MERCY OF GOD IS SUFFICIENT
Give self to the word of God, live life with the fear of God, to experience His mercy.
Numbers 14:18 states, “The Lord is long-suffering and abundant in mercy…” God does not run out of mercy, but it is a man that runs out of His mercy.
Are you living outside of the word of God, expecting His mercy to be in place for you?
Be obedient to the word of God to experience His mercy.
The mercy of God is abundant, sufficient but never becomes insufficient for those who fear Him.
With fear, will obey God to gain His mercy continually.
GOD ALONE IS MERCIFUL
Merciful mercy is God the perfect creator.
God is consistent in His mercy that does not fail in His goodness towards one that seeks Him diligently for His deliverance and preservation.
Are you seeking God diligently?
Who do you remember to call on besides the merciful God?
Psalm 20:7 records, “Some trust in chariots, and some in horses; But we will remember the name of the Lord our God.”
Prayerfully, give self to calling on God by His exalted name alone (Psalm 148:13), remind Him by His magnified word that is above all His name (Psalm 138:2)

Prayer for today: Ask to enable living by the word of God.
