ANSWER TO GOD

FAITH CAPSULE: Having faith is a determinant not to be living in sin.

1 Corinthians 3

What kind of church are you answering before God?
Is the church (temple of God) for real today or only receding from what the word of God calls for the church to be?
Bible identifies the church, “Do you not know that you are the temple of God and that the Spirit of God dwells in you?” (1 Corinthians 3:16) So many claim to be for Christ (believer) with titles that are high to heaven, but none are in a position like Abraham to be able to hear, see, and to observe according to the word of God. However, sin and sinning build distance between man and God.
How far are you from God that is never far from all?
Growing in sin and sinning will be far from God. Nature of God does not tolerate sin but withdraws God from man. Roman 3:23 buttresses, “For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God” The glory of God, which is His presence, is not full but short in the life of a sinner before God. Despite the shortage of God’s glory as a result of man’s sin, God does not permanently withdraw from a man with His mercy on man. Imagine how beautiful it is for one that is not living in sin without sin before God that does not tolerate sin?
To avoid living in sin is giving self to the word of God, the evidence of standing in faith before God.
Having faith is a determinant not to be living in sin but to living by the word of God that is the source of having faith.
Jesus once asked in Luke 18:8, “…when the Son of Man comes, will He really find faith on the earth?” (Luke 18:8)
Are you hearing and hearing by the word of God to keep away from sin living by faith?
Give self to the word God, come out of religion; enter into the reality Christ to become established on a ground (a position) of receiving revelation from God.
As a believer (a Christ reality), live faithfully like Abraham.
Know that to be faithful is a sacrifice and is not convenient that is cheap but costly.
To be faithful is a commitment to a lifestyle to live for God, and it enhances the flow of revelation from God.
Today, the church has taken the opposite direction by turning away from the word of God to the world.
Turn away from the world of sin and turn to God.
Be privileged of God, give self to the way of living life out of sin, and revelation will flow from God to turn your world around.
Remember, “Where there is no revelation, the people cast off restraint…” (Proverbs 29:18)
Stay away from sin, be near to God, let revelation breeds more restraints, and the avoidance of evil occurrences.

Prayer for today: Ask God to direct your heart not to live a life of sin.

SEE!

FAITH CAPSULE: See in the living by the word of God.

John 1:1-38

To become encased in the word of God is the way of escape and not become a victim of the wicked world.
Seek God in His word to see and be able to capture a secured future that cannot be broken nor return to God void.
How do you effectively engage the word of God?
Begin to behold and see in the word of God as one looking into the mirror.
Behold the word of God, listen to gain an understanding that is the evidence of listening ability.
Begin to see and receive in the word of God to trust and hope in God.
In the word of God, it is what you see, that you receive, and believes that will become of you.
It is the same as how you see yourself in the mirror before engaging your day determines how you carry yourself through the day endeavors.
It is important to see right in the word of God, not to become wrong. Imagine, one that sees him/herself as sick in the morning will walk through the day as sick-one. Also, one that wants to be pitied by others for lack will walk as one with lack.
Begin to see in the word of God as your daily or moment mirror to gain boldness and character of God to live life for the glory of God.
With trust and hope that is gain-able in the word of God, begin to look in the mirror of the word of God and be meditating that: I shall not die but live to the glory of God is set to rule the day with trust and hope on God.
Make the word of God your daily routine by studying continually and not only when it is convenient.
Allow the word of God to impact your perspective of life; allow the word of God to be your mirror that will identify you for a breakthrough.
Look into the mirror of the word of God for what you will adhere to adjust your life that you may have a great-exploit in the life that God has given you. Bible document Daniel with great exploits for you to look into his story as a mirror learning to gain knowledge.
Daniel 11:12 documents, “Those who do wickedly against the covenant he shall corrupt with flattery; but the people who know their God shall be strong, and carry out great exploits.”
Among the secret of Daniel was praying three times daily. Daniel 6:10 records, “Now when Daniel knew that the writing was signed, he went home. And in his upper room, with his windows open toward Jerusalem, he knelt down on his knees three times that day, and prayed and gave thanks before his God, as was his custom since early days.”
Daniel must have been seeing in the mirror of the word to be engaging the word of God. In Psalm 55:16 of David, Daniel must have adopted praying three times a day as recorded: Evening and morning, and at noon I will pray, and cry aloud, and He shall hear my voice.”
Begin to see in the word of God to secure your destiny.

Prayer for today: Ask God to enable your seeing in Him.

YOUR KIND OF BELIEVER

FAITH CAPSULE: What is your work like before God, the only Creator of all?

Matthew 5:1-15

What kind of a believer are you?
Does your character communicate your claim as a believer of God?
What is your work like before God, the only Creator of all?
Are you cold, hot, or lukewarm answering to God?
Revelation 3:15-16 records the word of God in response to the work of all: I know your works, that you are neither cold nor hot. I could wish you were cold or hot. So then, because you are lukewarm and neither cold nor hot, I will vomit you out of My mouth.
By the scriptural verse above, it is clear enough that there is no middle ground in every word of God. As an acclaimed believer, you are either one who contributes to the earth as a preserver or one who does not contribute but takes the place of a non-preserver (destroyer).
As an acclaimed believer, are you a preserver or destroyer by your way of living life?
In the Bible days, the refrigerator was not in use for preserving food, but it was salt.
Jesus identifies that just as salt preserves food, so should believers are to be the salt of the earth preserving the earth.
Are you a preserving believer or a lukewarm-believer or a hot or cold believer?
A believer should be the one bringing impacting changes to the word, preserving the decaying world of sin and iniquity. The world is changing believers because believers are adapting to the wicked world in the name of evangelizing the world.
Believers are not to be changed by the affairs of this world.
For you, it is not enough to be a consistent church goer neither is it enough to be fluent in quoting Bible verses if the character does not communicate your claim as a believer of the word of God.
Most believers today want to be quiet in their walk with the excuse of not wanting to offend anyone by what they believe.
Think about this: How can it be that food coming out of the kitchen with salt should be tasteless?
Jesus said in Matthew 5:13, “You are the salt of the earth; but if the salt loses its flavor, how shall it be seasoned? It is then good for nothing but to be thrown out and trampled underfoot by men”
A kitchen with salt that is producing tasteless and unacceptable food is evidence that salt has lost its flavor.
The salt that is not effective has lost its purpose.
Such salt becomes a waste and due to be thrown away. According to Jesus, a thrown away salt becomes an underfoot material.
What kind of salt are you?
Are you one that is bold in quoting the word of God without Godly character to back your quotation or claim as a believer?
Believers of the word are to be salt that seasons their world with godly and acceptable contributions.
Live life as a preserving agent according to the word of God.

Prayer for today: Ask God to deliver you from becoming a salt-less vessel to your world.

ONLY FOCUS ON GOD

Faith Capsule: The solution for challenges demands focusing on God.

Exodus 14

In life, challenging trouble will provoke worrying.
Often, worrying is the reason for not looking up to God.
Are you worried and not looking up to God?
A failure to look up to God in the face of the challenge will misplace focus on God.
Are you beholding your challenge or looking up to God?
Exodus 14:10-12 documents, “And when Pharaoh drew near, the children of Israel lifted their eyes, and behold, the Egyptians marched after them. So they were very afraid, and the children of Israel cried out to the Lord. Then they said to Moses, “Because there were no graves in Egypt, have you taken us away to die in the wilderness? Why have you so dealt with us, to bring us up out of Egypt? Is this not the word that we told you in Egypt, saying, ‘Let us alone that we may serve the Egyptians’? For it would have been better for us to serve the Egyptians than that we should die in the wilderness.” Does that sound like you? The Israelites, knowing fully well that God is able, yet they gave into fear when they failed to lift their eyes unto God for help.
The Israelites were worried and troubled when they gave a negative confession.
The solution for challenges demands focusing on God and the word of His promise.
Despite all the powerful teachings of Jesus against fear and worrying, the disciples went ahead and locked themselves up in fear of the Jews. “Then, the same day at evening, being the first day of the week, when the doors were shut where the disciples were assembled, for fear of the Jews, Jesus came and stood in the midst, and said to them, “Peace be with you.” (John 20:19) While the disciples of Jesus locked up themselves in the state of fear, Jesus showed up and declared peace. Jesus, the Word of God, is the Prince of peace. If anyone will look up to Jesus as Lord and Savior, He is always around to uphold such.
Faith in Jesus will cause peace to reign.
After Jesus had spoken peace into the life of His disciple’s life, the eyes of their mind opened to see the mark of crucifixion. The Bible records, “When He had said this, He showed them His hands and His side. Then the disciples were glad when they saw the Lord.” (John 20:20)
With the challenges of today, consistently set your mind to see the mark of crucifixion on Jesus to remind you that He has paid the price to uphold you not to become a victim of challenges.
If you will begin to see the marks of crucifixion on Jesus, believe that it is registered on Jesus for all to have life abundantly, the fear about all that is going on around the world will not have its place in your life.
Believe and receive Jesus into your life to carry you with evidence of salvation.

Prayer for today: Ask to be bold with the character of looking up to God at all times.

HIS WAY

FAITH CAPSULE: As a creation of God, are you living life by His way?

Job 21

The word of God answered to Jeremiah, “Before I formed you in the womb, I knew you; before you were born, I sanctified you; I ordained you a prophet to the nations.” (Jeremiah 1:5)
Without a doubt, all created belongs to God, and there is no place to hide from the only creator of all man.
As a creation of God, are you living life by His way?
Are you living life by keeping to your ways in the place of the ways of God?
Are you living life by your ways instead of the ways of God because your ways seem right to you?
Listen, it is an error to be living life in your way that seems right.
The word of God warns about your way that seems right to you.
Proverbs 14:12 records the warning of God: There is a way that seems right to a man, But its end is the way of death.
Jonah, a prophet of God that supposedly knows God, did not go by the direction, the way of God as directed by God. Jonah 1:1-3 documents the choice of the way of Jonah over the way God before him: “Now the word of the Lord came to Jonah the son of Amittai, saying, “Arise, go to Nineveh, that great city, and cry out against it; for their wickedness has come up before Me.” But Jonah arose to flee to Tarshish from the presence of the Lord. He went down to Joppa, and found a ship going to Tarshish; so he paid the fare, and went down into it, to go with them to Tarshish from the presence of the Lord.”
Jonah was careless and reckless when he responded to the way that seems right to him. His obedience to the only God was to obey as commanded by God, regardless of what seemed right to him or not.
The disobedient of Jonah placed him in the position of untimely death, but he cried out to God that answered for mercy deliverance of God.
God knows you more than you know yourself, and you should know to live every moment by the ways of God not to become a victim of untimely death.
It is an act of wickedness to know the direction of the word of God for His way, to move in a different direction.
The word of God that is not hidden but clear enough for any, but taking to a different way, is the evidence of ignoring God.
Are you living life to ignore your creator directly or indirectly?
Again, without any doubt, walking against the way of God is telling God to depart from you.
Serving God is living life, by His way.
Job address the wicked: Yet they say to God, ‘Depart from us, For we do not desire the knowledge of Your ways. Who is the Almighty, that we should serve Him? And what profit do we have if we pray to Him? (Job 21:14-15)
Are you living life by your ways instead of the ways of God?
Come out of wickedness to live for God.

Prayer for today: Ask that God will enable you to live life by His way.
