UNDERSTAND TO PRAISE GOD

FAITH CAPSULE: Do you have the understanding of praising God?

Psalm 47

With understanding, praising, thanking God will stand before God as a reasonable sacrifice the evidence of seeking God diligently.
The Bible testifies, “For God is the King of all the earth; Sing praises with understanding.” (Psalm 47:7)
In life, giving an understanding to seeking God will grant access to God that is waiting to act for those who seek Him.
Are you praising or giving thanks to God with understanding?
With understanding, praising, and thanking God should be rooted in the heart but not at the tips of the mouth.
Praising God is placing God gloriously high.
Continually praising or thanking God is seeking to be raised before the presence of God.
Praising God is not entertainment to impress a man but a vehicle to enter and locate God for His presence. Psalm 100:4 points it out, “Enter into His gates with thanksgiving, and into His courts with praise…” There is nothing to count on for gaining entrance to the presence of God as like praise worship that is sacrificing God diligently.
Praising God is not a display of talent before God, but a way of gaining a place in the presence of God. Psalm 22:3 buttresses, “But You are holy, Enthroned in the praises of Israel.” Give self to praising God with understanding to gain His presence.
Praising God should be the character of a man to be positioned in the right order before God. Psalm 50:23 records, “Whoever offers praise glorifies Me; And to him who orders his conduct aright I will show the salvation of God.” Give God glory by living life of praising God for His.
Praising God with self-consciousness is understanding and knowledge to come out of self to give to God that creates all for His pleasure.
Psalm 69:30 records, “I will praise the name of God with a song, and will magnify Him with thanksgiving.” Giving self to praising God is seeking God diligently with the expectation to be raised before God.
The seeking of God with praise by King David is evident in the bringing of the ark of God back to his city. Bible records, “Then David danced before the Lord with all his might, and David was wearing a linen ephod. So David and all the house of Israel brought up the ark of the Lord with shouting and with the sound of the trumpet. Now as the ark of the Lord came into the City of David, Michal, Saul’s daughter, looked through a window and saw King David leaping and whirling before the Lord…” (2 Samuel 6:14-16)
The manner of praising God matters as the mark of being mindful of God by David. He was praise-full and testified his way of life before God.
Are you praise-full before God?

Prayer for today: Ask from God for the understanding of God.

GOOD CONSCIENCE

FAITH CAPSULE: Do you have a conscience before God?

1Timothy 1

Do you have a conscience that can access you to the presence of God?
Conscience can be described as an awareness of right and wrong to guide actions to do right.
A good conscience is an action that is before God and all to see.
God sees all actions as 1 Samuel 2:3 testifies, “…For the Lord is the God of knowledge; And by Him, actions are weighed.” (1 Samuel 2:3)
What is your conscience before God?
What does it mean to have a good conscience before God in the journey of life?
The inner sense of doing right according to the word of God is a good conscience.
Having a good conscience before God is living obediently before God as commanded for all to love.
One with a good conscience will not fail or falter from finding God.
The commandment of God for all is to love one and other.
To love all is possible for only one with the understanding and knowledge of the love of God.
It is not possible to love all others except you love God indeed and in truth! 1 John 4:8 says it all, “He who does not love does not know God, for God is love.”
Do you love God?
Do you love all?
Bible records, “For all the law is fulfilled in one word, even in this: “You shall love your neighbor as yourself.” (Galatians 5:14)
Among the reasons for the commandment of God for all is to love from a GOOD CONSCIENCE. 1Timothy 1:5-6 admonishes, “Now the purpose of the commandment is love from a pure heart, from a good conscience, and from sincere faith, from which some, having strayed, have turned aside to idle talk.”
Having a good conscience is having God in your conscience, that will mark you for God in your journey of life.
Among all of the will of God is the purpose of the commandment from a good conscience.
Do you have a good conscience in all your ways before God?
Having love from a good conscience comes with action and is not hidden from God.
Having a good conscience is the sense of doing right but not doing wrong before God. It is a good conscience that governs thoughts and actions.
Conscience is what convict man to turn from wrong.
One with no conscience will live life with pride consciously or unconsciously, the evidence of the lack of love as commanded by God.
Conscience is responsible for conviction.
The Bible points out Pharisees as an example of the lack of good conscience when they approached Jesus for judgment over a woman caught in the act of adultery. The need for good conscience for the Pharisees was in the response of Jesus, “Then those who heard it, being convicted by their conscience, went out one by one…” (John 8:9)
All should strive for a good conscience, not become a victim of a lack of love as commanded in the word of God.

Prayer for today: Ask God to enable you with having a conscience.

BE FOR GOD!

FAITH CAPSULE: Understand and know to be zealous for God.

John 2

The documentation of the life of Jesus is what it means to have a zeal for God.
John 2:13-17 records demonstration of the zeal of Jesus, “Now the Passover of the Jews was at hand, and Jesus went up to Jerusalem. And He found in the temple those who sold oxen and sheep and doves, and the money changers doing business. When He had made a whip of cords, He drove them all out of the temple, with the sheep and the oxen, and poured out the changers’ money and overturned the tables. And He said to those who sold doves, “Take these things away! Do not make My Father’s house a house of merchandise!” Then His disciples remembered that it was written, “Zeal for Your house has eaten Me up”.
To have the zeal for God is living life for God by seeking God diligently.
The zeal of Jesus is documented for our learning to know what it means to live life for the glory of God.
Zeal for God is the evidence of boldness and character, a winning combination for a believer of the word of God.
Without the zeal for God, there will be no boldness and character for the acclaimed believer of the word of God to flush out activities of the world in the temple of God.
Are you zealous for God?
One with zeal for God will always stand against the world of disobedience by looking into the word of God with action.
Jesus could not look away from world activities in the temple but drove, pour and overturn all wicked world activities outside of the temple of God.
You are the temple of God that should not be full of activities that are not of God.
Bible identifies the temple of God, “Or do you not know that your body is the temple of the Holy Spirit who is in you, whom you have from God, and you are not your own? For you were bought at a price; therefore, glorify God in your body and in your spirit, which are God’s.” (1 Corinthians 6:19-20)
With the zeal for God, one will recognize that the house of God is not the house of merchandise but to stand against the merchandise of the world.
One with the zeal for God will not compromise the word of God in the temple of God.
The boldness and character of Jesus, the evidence of His zeal for God, is the reason why His disciples said, “…Zeal for Your house has eaten Me up” (John 2:17) Just like Jesus until you are eaten up by the things of God, you cannot be full of God!
To be eaten up by the zeal for God is one that is build up by the word of God and meditating the word of God day and night.
Why not desire to become one that is eaten up by the zeal of God?
It is wise to engage prayer, not a determination to become one with the zeal for God.

Prayer for today: Ask for the Zeal of God to eat you up, that you will live life for God.

FAITH, FEAR, TRUTH

FAITH CAPSULE: By faith is to fear God and know the truth.

John 14

Faith is to fear God and be free by living life for the glory of God.
Word of God is the source of God and documents every reason to know God with fear.
God is an awesome God, to fear God is to love Him for His goodness and mercy.
Get to know God, fear Him, and be FREE.
The word of God is God. John 1:1 testifies, “In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.” Many, the majority of acclaimed believers claim to KNOW ABOUT the word of God, quotes the word of God, or sings the word of God but not FREE.
The word of Jesus to the Jews that believed in His time also speaks to acclaim believers of today, “Then Jesus said to those Jews who believed Him, “If you abide in My word, you are My disciples indeed. And you shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free.” (John 8:31-32)
Are you an acclaim believer that is free by the truth?
Can you search for yourself if you KNOW ABOUT God or you KNOW God?
If you are one that quotes or sings word of God with no evidence of the word of God in your way of life, you are the testimony of one that only KNOWS ABOUT God but not KNOWS God.
Knowing about the word of God is not knowing God, not knowing the TRUTH.
Jesus is the TRUTH of God as John 14:6 states, “I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me.”
It is important to KNOW the truth, the word of God, for one to be free in this wicked world.
Knowing the truth is the evidence of having faith.
Do you have faith?
Have faith, to become faithful as one that is rooted in KNOWING the WORD of God.
The source of having FAITH, to become faithful is hearing and hearing by the Word of God. One with a desire to live life by the Word of God must be in a position to be seeking God in His word. Romans 10:17 declares, “…faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the word of God.”  To be hearing and hearing the word of God is the coming of faith, but when there is no hearing, and hearing faith will depart from one.
Are you hearing, and hearing by the word of God to KNOW GOD and be FAITHFUL?
DESCRIBING FAITH
The source of FAITH is the living WORD of God.
Faith is the living power that produces a living proof in the life of one that is faithful.
Faith is a spiritual power but not a philosophy or ideology.
Jesus said, “It is the Spirit who gives life; the flesh profits nothing. The words that I speak to you are spirit, and they are life.” (John 6:63)
Have faith by giving yourself to the word of God, fear God, and be FREE in this wicked world.

Prayer for today: Ask that God will enable you to give yourself to His word.

TAKING GOD FOR GRANTED?

FAITH CAPSULE: Are you taking God for granted, not doing as commanded in His word?

Deuteronomy 11

Living life is not a right, but it is the privilege of God to be alive.
Are you taking God for granted, for His gift of life you have?
Know and understand that all are created by God for all to be living life for His glory. Revelations 4:11 declares, “You are worthy, O Lord, to receive glory and honor and power; For You created all things, And by Your will, they exist and were created.” One that is not living life for the glory of God, such is taking God for granted.
Are you with excuses not to be living for the glory of God?
In your service to God, are you pleasing yourself but displeasing God? Take note that God is a long-suffering God, and it is not a license for any man not to be living life for God as His creation.
Stop taking God for granted, live life for God by lifting your hands as submission with the expectation reaching to God.
Continually, living life for God is to remain connected with God.
God is a good God that is worth for all, to be living life for His glory.
Seeking God diligently with all heart and with all soul is to find Him. Deuteronomy 4:29 speaks to all, “But from there you will seek the Lord your God, and you will find Him if you seek Him with all your heart and with all your soul.”
Among ways to live life for God, seeking God diligently instead of you taking God for granted is seeking God diligently obediently to his word
Living life to obey the word of God is a sacrifice that is consistent, costly, and not cheap. A sacrifice that takes self away from self to give all to God, seeking God diligently, is obedient.
One that is living life obediently to the word of God fears God, is undoubtedly a treasure to God. Exodus 19:5 records, “Now, therefore, if you will indeed obey My voice and keep My covenant, then you shall be a special treasure to Me above all people; for all the earth is Mine.”
Are you taking God for granted, not doing as commanded in His word?
Abraham lived life for the glory of God. Abraham could not withhold from the command of God but did as commanded by God, and God recognized the obedient of Abraham.  Genesis 22:12 records the testimony of the word of God towards Abraham, “Do not lay your hand on the lad, or do anything to him; for now, I know that you fear God since you have not withheld your son, your only son, from Me.” Abraham could not take God for granted but obeyed God, lived life for God by seeking God with all his heart and soul.

Prayer for today: Ask God to enable you not to take Him for granted.
