KNOW HIS WAY

FAITH CAPSULE: Get to know the way of God for you.

Exodus 33

What is it that you are asking God to change in your life but yet with no manifestation?
If you are one with such a question, it is time to give yourself to continual prayer, a persistent prayer before God.
The challenge is, give yourself to a non-stop but Keep Asking, Seeking, Knocking from God until the answer is delivered.
It is the character of God not to fail. God will always answer yes, no, or wait but gives to persistent prayer.
The parable of persistent testifies as Luke 11:5-8 records, “And He said to them, “Which of you shall have a friend, and go to him at midnight and say to him, ‘Friend, lend me three loaves; 6 for a friend of mine has come to me on his journey, and I have nothing to set before him’; 7 and he will answer from within and say, ‘Do not trouble me; the door is now shut, and my children are with me in bed; I cannot rise and give to you’? 8 I say to you, though he will not rise and give to him because he is his friend, yet because of his persistence he will rise and give him as many as he needs.”
Also, in Luke 18:1-8 points out to all that there was in a certain city a judge who did not fear God nor regard man but yet persistent made him yielded to a widow in that city. The widow needed justice for her, from the adversary. The Bible record the persistence of the widow prompt the response of the Judge in Luke 18:4-5, “ And he would not for a while; but afterward he said within himself, ‘Though I do not fear God nor regard man, yet because this widow troubles me I will avenge her, lest by her continual coming she weary me.’ ”
In the parable, Jesus said, “Hear what the unjust judge said. And shall God not avenge His own elect who cry out day and night to Him, though He bears long with them? I tell you that He will avenge them speedily. Nevertheless, when the Son of Man comes, will He really find faith on the earth?”
For your expectation that seems with no manifestation at sight, there is reason to engage persistent prayer, by asking, seeking, and knocking, the evidence of FAITH.
In the time of expectation for manifestation it worth to know that:
FAITH should not be a mouth noise.
FAITH is not a fanfare (a display or elaboration) but to engage God to experience manifestation for expectation.
FAITH is not an effort to impress no man but press on to experience God.
With faith, be persistent to ask and know the way of God, give heart to God.
With heart given to God, eyes will certainly observe His ways as Proverbs 23:26 says, “My son, give me your heart, and let your eyes observe my ways.”
Ask that you begin to see in His ways, not to live a life of waste.

Prayer for today: Ask that God enables you to know His way for your life.

GOD IS ENOUGH FOR YOU

FAITH CAPSULE: What is it that a man does have to offer you?

1 Samuel 13

The journey of life is to know not to be committed to no man but only to God.
Jesus selected few to walk along with Him day and night but He could not commit Himself to any man. The bible records, “But Jesus did not commit Himself to them, because He knew all men.” (John 2:24)
Jesus did not commit Himself to no man. Is there any lesson for your journey in life?
Who do you commit yourself to?
Who do you commit to and get help from?
God is indeed the Caring taker of caretaker.
God has not failed, He will not fail and He is waiting to act those who wait on His committed caring love. Isaiah 64:4 testifies about the caring of God, “For since the beginning of the world men have not heard nor perceived by the ear, nor has the eye seen any God besides You, Who acts for the one who waits for Him.”
What is it that a man does have to offer you?
God is enough for man to be committed instead of committing to man. God alone is the Helping helper of man that has never fail.
Looking for help from the wrong sources is the evidence of limiting the caring love of God.
Often time, your help will not come from where you are looking or counting for your help to come.
Saul was confirmed by God as King of the children of Israel. As the king, he looking outside of God, the evidence of not committing on God, but seeking help from the people that surrounded him.
Saul, at his war against Philistines, he could not wait for the role of the Prophet of God to carry out the burnt offering. Saul disobeyed the law of God as to engage burnt offering, the assignment which belonged to Samuel the priest of God.
The Bible records the confrontation of Saul by Samuel after his burnt offering, “…What have you done?” Saul said, “When I saw that the people were scattered from me, and that you did not come within the days appointed, and that the Philistines gathered together at Michmash, then I said, ‘The Philistines will now come down on me at Gilgal, and I have not made supplication to the LORD.’ Therefore I felt compelled, and offered a burnt offering.”(1 Samuel 13:11-12) Committing to man instead of God is an error, an avenue to self-destruction.
Meditate on the testimonies of the caring of God continually to disallow a failure like King Saul.
Meditate what God can do, what He has done, and what He is doing to provoke the blessing of God.
Think about it, it is God alone that has brought you this far, and He will not leave you nor forsake you.
Are you wondering where your help will come from? Help from God is certain and will surely come to be.

Prayer for today: Ask God to enable your commit only to Him.

WHAT IS HAVING OVER YOU?

FAITH CAPSULE: Desire not to be taken over by any force.

John 11:1-44

What is it that is having you, denying you not to live life for the glory of God?
In life, HAVING A CHALLENGING SITUATION IS DIFFERENT FROM WHEN CHALLENGING SITUATION IS HAVING over the life of one.
What is the challenging situation that is having over your life?
Unable to control sin can have over the life of one in life.
A mark that is not of God such as sudden or unexpected occurrences can have over the life of a person.
Mark of untimely death had Lazarus with an attempt to take him away permanently. Lazarus was tied up and rolled up in a tomb. Death had Lazarus and nothing could be done until Jesus showed up to release him from sudden and untimely death, by giving thanks to God in John 11:41-43, “Father, I thank You that You have heard Me. And I know that You always hear Me, but because of the people who are standing by I said this, that they may believe that You sent Me.” Now when He had said these things, He cried with a loud voice, “Lazarus, come forth!”
As a believer or non-believer, what is it that is having over you?
Blindness was having over a man on the roadside that caught the attention of Jesus. Luke 18:35-38 records, “Then it happened, as He was coming near Jericho, that a certain blind man sat by the road begging. And hearing a multitude passing by, he asked what it meant. So they told him that Jesus of Nazareth was passing by. And he cried out, saying, ‘Jesus, Son of David, have mercy on me!’”  Blindness was having the man by the roadside, and he could go nowhere as desired. Also, he could not see what was going on around him because the blindness had taken him over and he was under the control of blindness.
When lameness is having over the life of one, such will not be able to walk, bound to crawl but not able to run.
In life, one with physical, spiritual, or emotional lameness will be limited to rise, to become a victim of stagnation in this wicked world.
In the journey of life where stagnation persists, delay, and the denial will disrupt getting to the expected end.
Lameness in life can be a position or a condition where no man desires to be.
Lameness will prompt stagnation in life.
Is lameness having you?
Peter and John operated as agents that delivered a lameness man with stagnation.
Peter and John had more to offer him. Bible records, “And fixing his eyes on him, with John, Peter said, ‘Look at us.’ So, he gave them his attention, expecting to receive something from them.” (Acts 3:4-5)
If you will begin to come with attention to God, expecting manifestation for your deliverance before God, your story will be changed. The lame man gave attention to healing when he received healing.

Prayer for today: Ask to be separated from sin that is having itself over you not to live life by His word.

FORSAKE NOT HIS DIRECTION

FAITH CAPSULE: What do you forsake to follow in serving God?

1Kings 19:11-21, Luke 5:1-11

At a point in time, four fishermen forsook all and followed Jesus.
In life, to follow in serving God demands to forsake all.
Elisha followed Elijah in his serving of God.
The Bible records that Elisha answered calling to serve when he wholeheartedly followed Elijah. Elisha broke up with his old life by kissing father bye and by destroying the yoke of oxen that were his livelihood. (1Kings19:19-21)
What do you forsake to follow in serving God?
Four professional fishermen at the right time at the right place failed to catch fish. The four fishermen could not give up until daybreak, yet they caught nothing. As they were washing their nets and ready to pack for the day with nothing to show for as professional fishermen, Jesus showed up, “Then He got into one of the boats, which was Simon’s, and asked him to put out a little from the land. And He sat down and taught the multitudes from the boat.” (Luke 5:3)
Despite a lack of success with catching fish through night hours, their kindness was intact as they allowed the stranger (Jesus) to use their vessel without any refusal.
After Jesus finished teaching the multitude, He turned to the fishermen and gave them a word, His word as stated in Luke 5:4“…Launch out into the deep and let down your nets for a catch.” Always take note that, in times of disappointment, the word of God will answer as terminating force to turn disappointment to an appointed time.
In response to the command to launch out, professional fishermen lamented about toiling all night with nothing to show forth.
When there is a disappointment, do not be discouraged, but give self to the word of God that can reverse the irreversible.
Have you found yourself on a ground where you have been grounded due to a lack of results?
Begin to listen, hear, and see in the word of God to position you in the right route of transformation.
The fishermen responded to the word of God for them to launch out into the deep and let down nets, and were able to catch a great number of fish, “…and their net was breaking. So they signaled to their partners in the other boat to come and help them. And they came and filled both the boats so that they began to sink. When Simon Peter saw it, he fell down at Jesus’ knees, saying, “Depart from me, for I am a sinful man, O Lord!” (Luke 5:6-8)
Is there any area of your life where you have been toiling with no result to show?
It does not matter how long you have been toiling with nothing to show but it is possible to encounter an unfailing God that does not fail for a breakthrough.
However, it is certain that when you listen to hear and see in the word of God it shall lead you to the route of transformation. The fishermen listened and heard the word that terminates.
Give it all for Jesus and He shall settle you.

Prayer for today: Ask for the word of God to sound in your direction for your breakthrough.

LEARN FROM ABRAHAM

FAITH CAPSULE: Obey to dwell, by waiting on God at all times.

Hebrews 11

The word of God requires full obedience and with no compromise.
When the word of God sounds in your direction, it is worthy to obey, dwell by waiting on the word of God.
To obey, dwell, and wait on the word of God is evident in the life of Abraham.
The bible records of Abraham, “By faith Abraham obeyed when he was called to go out to the place which he would receive as an inheritance. And he went out, not knowing where he was going. By faith he dwelt in the land of promise as in a foreign country, dwelling in tents with Isaac and Jacob, the heirs with him of the same promise; for he waited for the city which has foundations, whose builder and maker is God.” (Hebrews 11:8-10)
Obedience: When God called Abraham out from his country, his family, his father’s house to an unknown land, he obeyed fully by launching out as commanded by God. Although, there was no idea of where he was going and it was ideal for him not to question God. Abraham had no reasonable excuse to decline the calling upon his life but obeyed God by moving from certainty to uncertainty.
Are you obeying to obtain good testimonies?
Dwelling: Abraham dwelt on the word of God.
Living life according to the word of is dwelling in the secret place of God. Psalm 91:1 buttressed. “He who dwells in the secret place of the Most High shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty.” Are you a truthful believer that knows to dwell in the word of God? Abraham dwelt in the word of God by not looking back to his country but went forward according to the calling of God over his life.
Abraham dwelt under the shadow of the word of God and was able to move forward in the calling of God.
With faith in the word of God, Abraham moved to a foreign country and his faith caused him to obtain good testimonies.
The word of God is a story to limited one of understanding but a secret of God for one with an understanding that knows God.
The word of God is a secret to dwell in and be delivered in the journey of life. Abraham dwelt in the word of God.
Waiting: Abraham obeyed God; he dwelt and waited on the word God for the deliverance and preservation.
Those who know to dwell in God know to wait patiently on God. Hebrews 11:10 records the waiting of Abraham on God, “For he waited for the city which has foundations, whose builder and maker is God.” Indeed, Abraham lived by waiting for the future which was not yet in sight.
Waiting on the promising word of God can be painful, but is gainful for obedient ones.
With Abraham, understanding, and knowledge of the word of God, prompted him to obey and obtain the testimony of God.

Prayer for today: Ask God to enable you to learn right from Abraham.
