MUST KNOW

FAITH CAPSULE: Does Jesus’ word speak to you?

John 1

Search yourself to identify yourself if: You KNOW GOD or YOU KNOW ABOUT GOD.
Among the reasons why you do not know God but only know about God is the lack of understanding, not believe in God and taking offensive to God’s truth:
Lack of Understanding
A failure of giving attention will result in a listening disability. Jesus questioned and answered why lack of understanding, “Why do you not understand My speech? Because you are not able to listen to My word.” (John 8:43)
It is not possible to understand what or who you do not know. The world is too busy for self, and not to give attention to God. One that gives attention to God will listen to gain understanding, to know God for who He is. He is a good God, the One that reverses irreversible.
Forgetting attributes of God
Forgetting attributes of God, not being thought about Him will not know God. Deuteronomy 4:5-6 buttresses, “Surely I have taught you statutes and judgments, just as the Lord my God commanded me, that you should act according to them in the land which you go to possess. 6 Therefore be careful to observe them; for this is your wisdom and your understanding…” One that is not exposed to learn about God will not give attention to understand the attributes of God enough to know God.
Truth is not appealing
Truth is not popular, is not acceptable to the world. It is not possible to know what is not accepted, not believed. John 8:45-47 records Jesus’ word that speaks the truth about not knowing God, “But because I tell the truth, you do not believe Me. 46 Which of you convicts Me of sin? And if I tell the truth, why do you not believe Me? 47 He who is of God hears God’s words; therefore, you do not hear, because you are not of God.” One that does not accept truth to believe does not know God that is true.
You must know God to come out of the religion of this wicked world.
To know God is rooted in the living word of God, written for understanding if any will give self to study the word of God.
To study the word of God is a sacrifice with the cost of labor.
To know God is seeking God diligently, to please Him and to find God as promised, “But without faith, it is impossible to please Him, for he who comes to God must believe that He is and that He is a rewarder of those who diligently seek Him.” (Hebrews 11:6)
You must know God because knowing about God is not enough to escape the lasting pain for one that does not know God.
Know God, come out of religion, live life for the glory of God.
You must know God the truth to be free in this wicked world.

Prayer for today: Ask God to make you know Him more.

POWER OF GOD

FAITH MAIL: Giving thanks to God with understanding is the power word of God.

John 11:1-44

The word of God is the power of God.
Hebrews 4:12 accounts, “For the word of God is living and powerful, and sharper than any two-edged sword, piercing even to the division of soul and spirit, and of joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart.”
One that gives self to the word of God, the power of God is giving and getting the attention of God without failing in the journey of life.
Giving self to the word of God is worshiping God to gain His attention. Exodus 34:14 states, “For you shall worship no other god, for the Lord, whose name is Jealous, is a jealous God.”
Regardless of your challenge, give yourself to the word of God, the power of God, to gain His attention that will deliver and preserve you in the face of challenges of this world.
The word of God is the power of God that will bring death back to life. For example, when Lazarus was dead for four days, it was the word of God that brought Lazarus back to life.
At the death of Lazarus, Jesus gave word with the command to bring Lazarus to life from death, “Then they took away the stone from the place where the dead man was lying. And Jesus lifted up His eyes and said, “Father, I thank You that You have heard Me. And I know that You always hear Me, but because of the people who are standing by I said this, that they may believe that You sent Me.” 43 Now when He had said these things, He cried with a loud voice, “Lazarus, come forth!” 44 And he who had died came out bound hand and foot with graveclothes, and his face was wrapped with a cloth. Jesus said to them, “Loose him, and let him go.” (John 11:41-44)
Is there any challenging situation with the need to gain life and not die in any endeavor of your life?
Give self to the word of God that is more than able to give possibility in the place of impossibility.
Giving self to the word of God by giving thanks for all God has done, for what He is doing and what God will do over your life.
With obedience for the people to move the stone as commanded by Jesus, it was thanksgiving that activated the power that rose Lazarus from the grave of death.
Giving thanks to God with understanding is the power word of God that gave life in the position of death for Lazarus.
Do not be instigated and let know anxiousness deny you from truth understanding by giving thanks to God.

Prayer for today: Ask God for the understanding to live life by His word.

DO NOT DISREGARD GOD

FAITH CAPSULE: Disregarding God is snubbing God.

Hebrews 12

God alone has brought you this far in the journey of life, the testimony of giving regards to God instead of snubbing God.
Are you snubbing God by not looking up to Him?
There is no reasonable excuse to be looking outside of God, for His goodness and mercy over your life. Hebrews 12:2 records for learning to understand and know that, “Looking unto Jesus, the author and finisher of our faith, who for the joy that was set before Him endured the cross, despising the shame, and has sat down at the right hand of the throne of God.” For every reasonable acclaimed believer that is not looking up to God is taking a position of snubbing God.
In your journey of life this far, looking out to see the works created by His word testifies that God is near, the reason not to be snubbing God continually. Psalm 75:1 testifies, “…For Your wondrous works declare that Your name is near.” Give your attention to God for His creation of wondrous works by His word.
Focusing on God to be hearing from Him is not snubbing directions in God’s word.
Focusing on God by not snubbing God’s word is engaging a glorious destiny.
Disengaging God’s word is snubbing God for self-destruction. One with the choice of snubbing the word of God is snubbing one’s glorious destiny.
Are you snubbing God, positioning yourself for destruction?
Among experiences of snubbing God for glorious destiny are written for our learning through the pages of the Bible.
Doubting God is snubbing God:
God does not waste His word, He does not exaggerate or deceive, and there is no reason for anyone to doubt Him.
Lack of faith is snubbing God. Jesus identified doubt of Peter when he was about to drown in his attempt to walk on the water as Jesus did. Matthew 14:31 records, “…Jesus stretched out His hand and caught him, and said to him, “O you of little faith, why did you doubt?”
Believers want to speak with power, to move a mountain but full of doubt, snubbing God’s word.
Does that speak to you?
Disregarding God’s word is snubbing God:
Watching and praying is the word of God’s direction for all to obey without ceasing as 1 Thessalonian 5:17 admonishes, “pray without ceasing.”
Just like Apostle Paul, are living a life of prayer continually, according to God’s word? Paul buttresses in Acts 6:4, “but we will give ourselves continually to prayer and to the ministry of the word.”
Apostle Paul gave himself to prayer according to God’s word, once he could not become a victim of prison life.
Paul’s journey of life records how unceasing prayer delivered him, “But at midnight Paul and Silas were praying and singing hymns to God, and the prisoners were listening to them. Suddenly there was a great earthquake so that the foundations of the prison were shaken, and immediately all the doors were opened and everyone’s chains were loosed.” (Acts 16:25-26)
Giving self to prayer is focusing on God, not snubbing God.

Prayer for today: Ask God not to be disregarding Him all the days of your life.

GOD IS MERCIFULLY MERCIFUL

FAITH CAPSULE: Have faith, know that God hears you.

Psalm 86

God alone is Good that is merciful, He is the unchanging changer that reverses the irreversible.
God, in His mercy, has brought you this far.
Listen, it is not about how long your challenges persistently resist to come to an end despite your calling on God. Understand, know and be thanking God for how far His mercy has brought you this far.
The word of God encourages against challenging afflictions, “Many are the afflictions of the righteous, But the Lord delivers him out of them all.” (Psalm 34:19) Despite your challenges, do right before God, His mercy will deliver you.
What a Good God!
Good God that is consistent in His mercy will not fail in His goodness and mercy towards consistently inconsistent ones towards His command.
Are you calling on Him?
Who do you remember to call on?
Psalm 20:7 records, “Some trust in chariots, and some in horses; But we will remember the name of the Lord our God.”
Prayerfully, give self to calling on God by His exalted name alone (Psalm 148:13), call His Him by His magnified word that is above all His name (Psalm 138:2), remind Him in His word that does not return Him void (Isiah 55:11). Remind God, contend with Him faithfully by His word as Isaiah 43:6 declares, “Put Me in remembrance; Let us contend together; State your case, that you may be acquitted.”
Know God, to call Him with the understanding gained in His word.
It is not too much but possible and worthy to call Him at every breath as a prescription to have life. Psalm 150:6 prescribes, “Let everything that has breath praise the Lord. Praise the Lord!”
Think of it, if it is not too much or it is not impossible to call, to praise God at every breath. The word of God will not have asked that everything with breath praise the Lord.
Praising God is worshipping God, worshiping God can be thanking, praying, singing or living life by the word of God.
Live life for God at every breath.
Are you calling on Him with doubt if He hears you?
Have faith, know that God hears you.
The word of Psalm 94:9 encourages, “He who planted the ear, shall He not hear? He who formed the eye, shall He not see?”
Prayerfully, call on God without a doubt.
God is a good God, He is God that calls when no one calls, God will speak when no one is hearing from Him, God knows best and does have the reason to do as it pleases over all of His creation.
If you have been calling on God and yet no answer, keep faith to keep on calling and waiting to hear for His calling.
Keep yourself in the presence of merciful God all day, all week, all month and all year.
God is a good God with mercy!

Prayer for today: Just ask from God that is mercy will locate you continually.

OBEDIENCE AND THANKSGIVING

FAITH CAPSULE: Are you obedient to God?

John 11:1-44

Obedience is a costly sacrifice.
Obedience with thanksgiving will be a powerful combination to gain life in the place of death.
Once, at the time of Jesus’ arrival to Bethany, Lazarus was dead.
Mary, Martha, and people were into mourn when Jesus’ commanded, and the people obeyed, Jesus gave thanks to God and Lazarus came out of the grave of death. Obedience and thanksgiving is a sacrifice, a combination of the power to gain life.
Bible records, John 11:38-44, “Then Jesus, again groaning in Himself, came to the tomb. It was a cave, and a stone lay against it. “Jesus said, “Take away the stone.” Martha, the sister of him who was dead, said to Him, “Lord, by this time there is a stench, for he has been dead four days.”
Are you one as Martha, with a lack of hope and not obey God’s word of command?
Jesus responds to the unbelief of Martha:
“Jesus said to her, “Did I not say to you that if you would believe you would see the glory of God?” Martha does not believe, but the people obeyed Jesus, “then they took away the stone from the place where the dead man was lying. And Jesus lifted up His eyes and said, “Father, I thank You that You have heard Me. And I know that You always hear Me, but because of the people who are standing by I said this, that they may believe that You sent Me.” Now when He had said these things, He cried with a loud voice, “Lazarus, come forth!” And he who had died came out bound hand and foot with graveclothes, and his face was wrapped with a cloth. Jesus said to them, “Loose him, and let him go.”
With understanding to obey God’s word and giving thanks to God will live life to the glory of God.
Are you experiencing a wilderness journey of life, the representative of the lack of provision with painful experience?
If you will give self to obeying God with a heart full of thanksgiving, God in His mercy will not look away from seeing you through.
Jesus, in the wilderness of the lack of provision, people that followed Him obeyed His command and His thanksgiving turned lack to plentiful for the people.
Mark 8:6-9 records, “So He commanded the multitude to sit down on the ground. And He took the seven loaves and gave thanks, broke them and gave them to His disciples to set before them; and they set them before the multitude. They also had a few small fish; and having blessed them, He said to set them also before them. So they ate and were filled, and they took up seven large baskets of leftover fragments. Now those who had eaten were about four thousand. And He sent them away.”
Are you giving thanks to God without living life of obedient before God?
With understanding, an acceptable sacrifice to God is with the combination of living a life of obedience with continual thanksgiving before God.

Prayer for today: Ask God to enable you to be giving Him a sacrifice thanks.
