THE MIRROR

Faith Capsule: Looking into the word of God as a mirror will impact your perspective of life.

John 1

The word of God can be engaged as a mirror to address the way of dressing up in this wicked world.
To be encased in the word of God is to escape from the wickedness of this world.
One that seeks God will see in the word of God to capture a secured future in the word of God which cannot be broken.
How can one effectively engage the word of God?
One should behold and see in the word as one looking into the mirror. Also, one should constantly hear the word with effective listening ability.
Begin to see and receive in the word of God!
One that sees in the word of God and doubts do not see truly.
One that sees in the word of God as a mirror with no doubt will receive and become God’s own, not to become a victim of the wicked world.
It is how one can see self in the word of God as a mirror that will determine how one will engage the day endeavors.
How do you see yourself in your going daily?
Possibly, seeing as sick in the morning will walk through the day as sick. The same applies to ones that see as self to be pitied will walk through day expecting to be pitied.
However, ones that look in the mirror of the word and say to self “I shall not die but live to the glory of God” is set to rule the day with trust and hope on God.
Make the word your daily routine; study the word continually not only when it is convenient.
Allow the word of God to impact your perspective of life.
Allow the word to be your mirror which will identify you for a breakthrough in your journey of the day.
Look into the word of God as a mirror for what you will adhere to adjust your life to have a great exploit to the glory of God.
Daniel must have seen in the word of God to become purposeful for God, not for the wicked ways of the world. Daniel 11:12 records about Daniel, “Those who do wickedly against the covenant he shall corrupt with flattery; but the people who know their God shall be strong, and carry out great exploits.”
Among the secret of Daniel which he saw in the word of God as a mirror was praying three times a day. Daniel 6:10 testifies, “Now when Daniel knew that the writing was signed, he went home. And in his upper room, with his windows open toward Jerusalem, he knelt down on his knees three times that day, and prayed and gave thanks before his God, as was his custom since early days.”
Looking into the word of God as a mirror daily will secure your destiny to the glory of God.

Prayer for today: Ask to give your life to the word of God consistently as a mirror to be dressed by God for deliverance.

RIGHT CHOICE

Faith Capsule: Let not your heart be troubled.

John 14

What is troubling to you?
Do not be troubled, disallow worrying.
To become troubled and worrying in the face of challenge is the evidence of not looking up to God for His intervention.
When keeping eyes on confronting the challenge, one is set to misplace focus on God.
Are you giving yourself to trouble?
Are you beholding your challenge or you are looking up to God?
Exodus 14:10-12 documents the evidence about how troubling challenge overwhelms the Israelites, the learning for all in the journey of life, “And when Pharaoh drew near, the children of Israel lifted their eyes, and behold, the Egyptians marched after them. So they were very afraid, and the children of Israel cried out to the Lord. Then they said to Moses, “Because there were no graves in Egypt, have you taken us away to die in the wilderness? Why have you so dealt with us, to bring us up out of Egypt? Is this not the word that we told you in Egypt, saying, ‘Let us alone that we may serve the Egyptians’? For it would have been better for us to serve the Egyptians than that we should die in the wilderness.”
Does that sound like you?
The Israelites knowing fully well that God is able but gave into fear when they failed to look up to God in His word, for His deliverance and to defend.
The Israelites were worried and troubled as a result they gave to negative confession.
The solution to challenges demands focusing on God and the word of His promise.
The Israelites were worried and troubled to give to negative confession.
The solution to challenges demands focusing on God and the word of His promise. Despite all the powerful teachings of Jesus against fear and worrying, the disciples went ahead and locked themselves up in fear of the Jews. “Then, the same day at evening, being the first day of the week, when the doors were shut where the disciples were assembled, for fear of the Jews, Jesus came and stood in the midst, and said to them, “Peace be with you.” (John 20:19) While they were being locked up in the state of fear, Jesus showed up and declared peace. Jesus, the Word of God is the Prince of peace.
Look up to Jesus as Lord and Savior He is always around to uphold you.
Faith in Jesus will cause peace to reign.
After Jesus had spoken peace into His disciple’s life, the eyes of their minds were opened to see the mark of crucifixion. “When He had said this, He showed them His hands and His side. Then the disciples were glad when they saw the Lord.” (John 20:20) Seeing the mark opened up the disciples to come out of fear. If you will begin to see the marks of crucifixion and believe that the marks were registered on Jesus for us to be able to have life abundantly, the fear about all that is going on around the world will not have its place in your life.
The right choice for all is, “Let not your heart be troubled; you believe in God, believe also in Me.” (John 14:1) Prayer for today: Ask against having trouble as your focus. Prayer for today: Ask against having trouble as your focus.
Prayer for today: Ask against having trouble as your focus.

DO NOT BE CARELESS

FAITH CAPSULE: Do not be careless with God’s direction.

1Samuel 16

The carelessness of any man is not keeping the word of God.Proverbs 19:16 warns, “He who keeps the commandment keeps his soul, but he who is careless of his ways will die.” (Proverbs 19:16)
Are you keeping yourself in the word of God for His direction over your life?
The book of Jonah 1:1-3 states, “Now the word of the Lord came to Jonah the son of Amittai, saying, “Arise, go to Nineveh, that great city, and cry out against it; for their wickedness has come up before Me.” But Jonah arose to flee to Tarshish from the presence of the Lord. He went down to Joppa, and found a ship going to Tarshish; so he paid the fare, and went down into it, to go with them to Tarshish from the presence of the Lord.”
Jonah was careless not to keep God’s direction over his life.
When God calls and sends one out with His direction, He will back you up not to fail.
In God’s commandment for the direction, He is available to keep one to the expected end. Often, a man stumbles and takes a position of self-destruction.
Jonah supposed to obey as commanded by God regardless of what seemed right to him.
Have you received the calling of God in a specific direction?
God called Moses out to lead the children of Israel out of the bondage of over four hundred years.
Moses, out of his concern for God, reacted to the rebellious act of the children of Israel towards God.
Moses took it upon himself to strike the rock, not to speak to the rock for water. God responded to Moses’ reaction, “Then the LORD spoke to Moses and Aaron, “Because you did not believe Me, to hallow Me in the eyes of the children of Israel, therefore you shall not bring this assembly into the land which I have given them.” (Numbers 20:12)
The same God sent Samuel to go and anoint David as king while Saul was still living as the King. Samuel was concerned about God’s command when he asked, “How can I go? If Saul hears it, he will kill me.” (1 Samuel 16:2) Out of concern, Samuel could have responded by going his own way but gave himself to God’s command. God responded to Samuel’s question, “…Take a heifer with you, and say, ‘I have come to sacrifice to the Lord.’ Then invite Jesse to the sacrifice, and I will show you what you shall do; you shall anoint for Me the one I name to you.”1 Samuel 16:2-3) Samuel’s concern could not corrupt his obedience to God’s command.
God alone knows the end from the beginning, He knew us before we were born. Disallow your concern by allowing His command to be established in your life.

Prayer for today: Ask that God’s direction be established over your life.

IT IS NOT TOO LATE

FAITH CAPSULE: Have you forgotten the works of God?

Psalm 106:13-33

Bless the name of God as same as Psalm 103:2 records, “Bless the Lord, O my soul; and all that is within me, bless His holy name! Bless the Lord, O my soul, and forget not all His benefits.”
Blessing His name all the time and in all things is the evidence that one remembers Him. Forgetting what God has done or what He can do is enough to lead man into taking a route of sin.
The Israelites, after coming out of the bondage of Egypt, forgot what the Lord did for them and the Bible records, “They soon forgot His works; they did not wait for His counsel, but lusted exceedingly in the wilderness, and tested God in the desert.” (Psalm 106:13-14) The Israelites overlooked; failed to recall; unable to remember; unable to call to mind what the Lord did for their salvation from the bondage of over four hundred years.
When there is a failure for a man not to remember where man is coming from, man is set to become lost and not arrive at the destination.
As a result of the truth that the Israelites could not remember the works of God, failure not to wait for the wonderful counsel of God took charge of their life.
By Israelites testimony, it is evident that a failure not to wait is a passage to become wasted in the journey of life. The Israelites did not only wasted but got lost exceedingly.
Have you forgotten the works of God?
Are you disregarding the hands of God in your life?
Isaiah 5:12-13 records, “The harp and the strings, the tambourine, and the flute, and wine are in their feasts; but they do not regard the work of the LORD, nor consider the operation of His hands. Therefore my people have gone into captivity because they have no knowledge; their honorable men are famished, and their multitude dried up with thirst.” When there is no regard to do the work of God as commanded by God, there will be no regret in doing what does not glorify His Name.
Also, not to have attention for what God has done will deny one from responding to what God is doing or what He can do.
It is iniquity not to give regard to God’s work or consider the operation of His hands because He is a Jealous God.
Will you give regard to the works of God?
Give regards to the works that God has done and the ones that He is doing.
Over your life, have you forgotten what God has done over your life?
In your life, are you burdened by not yet receive an answer to your prayer request from God?
Gain an understanding and know that it is not how long you have been waiting for your answer to your prayer request that matters, but give thanks, bless the Lord for how far He has brought you.

Prayer for today: Ask for a mindset to always remember and not disregard the works of God.

GIVE HIM PRAISE!

FAITH CAPSULE: Do not submit to fear but submit to praising God.

2 Chronicles 20

Today of the month is your God-given day, give Him praise. Praising God for today and days to come is set to be your victorious for your life, to the glory of God.
God is great and is worthy to be praised with understanding. Psalm 48:1-2 admonishes all, “For the Lord is great and greatly to be praised; He is to be feared above all gods.” (Psalm 96:4)“Great is the Lord, and greatly to be praised in the city of our God, In His holy mountain. Beautiful in elevation, the joy of the whole earth…”
Do not submit to fear but submit to praising God for His greatness regardless of stubborn enemies.
Jehoshaphat received a message of fear as stated in 2 Chronicles 20:2-3, “A great multitude is coming against you from beyond the sea, from Syria; and they are in Hazazon Tamar” (which isEnGedi). And Jehoshaphat feared, and set himself to seek the LORD, and proclaimed a fast throughout all Judah.” Is there any great that is greater than the only greatest God that is above any other gods? There is no other god that is greater than the Ancient of days.
Concerning enemies, the Lord that is great and greatly to be praised is not going to look over your sincere understanding praise, He will deliver you.
With the message of the enemy against Jehoshaphat, Jehoshaphat sought God and received a message to stand still and see the salvation of the Lord.
In the coming days of this year, praising God is standing still and seeing the hand of God on your behalf.
Stand still, see and know that the same God of yesterday, today and forever will not fail to deny you. As you are standing still, see and know it that God is with you.
The word recorded how Jehoshaphat stood still and saw in Chronicles 20:21-22, “…he appointed those who should sing to the LORD, and who should praise the beauty of holiness, as they went out before the army and were saying: Praise the LORD for His mercy endures forever. Now when they began to sing and to praise, the Lord set ambushes against the people of Ammon, Moab, and Mount Seir, who had come against Judah; and they were defeated.” With praising God, victory is certain and undeniable.
Today, disallow any one’s direction for your way to praise God, take the prescription of Psalmist praise in Psalm 150:1-6, “Praise the Lord! Praise God in His sanctuary; praise Him in His mighty firmament! Praise Him for His mighty acts; praise Him according to His excellent greatness! Praise Him with the sound of the trumpet; praise Him with the lute and harp! Praise Him with the timbrel and dance; Praise Him with stringed instruments and flutes! Praise Him with loud cymbals; Praise Him with clashing cymbals! Let everything that has breath praise the Lord. Praise the Lord!
God is worthy to be praised with understanding to gain His upon your life.

Prayer for today: Ask God for praising Him to become your way of life.
