BE THE SIMPLE ONE

FAITH CAPSULE: Before God, be a simple one with faith.

Proverbs 14

The exploit of the SIMPLE ONE is their living life by God’s word as a believer. Proverbs 14:15 buttress, “The simple believes every word…”  Understand of the word of God belongs to the SIMPLE ONE. The simple ones are the ones that give self to the word of God, to be-living (Believe) by God’s word continually. Psalm 119:130 confirms, “The entrance of Your words gives light; It gives understanding to the simple.”
Are you an acclaimed believer that is not simple in your way of life, engaging the word of God?
Through the Bible, word of God identifies the believer of the word of God as SIMPLE.
The simple one believes enough to live life for the glory of God.
The word of God records the exploits of the SIMPLE ones:
Psalm 19:7, “The law of the Lord is perfect, converting the soul; The testimony of the Lord is sure, making wise the simple.” One that is simple is with God’s wisdom not to be a fool in this wicked world.
Psalm 116:6, “The Lord preserves the simple; I was brought low, and He saved me.” A simple one before God is certain to have a preserved life and the salvation of God.
Proverbs 14:15, “The simple believes every word, But the prudent considers well his steps.” Simple one without prudent is not complete to claim the promises of God. Simple one MUST be with prudence.
Are you a simple one? An acclaimed believer, a simple one without prudence will experience punishment. Proverbs 22:3 warns, “A prudent man foresees evil and hides, but the simple pass on and are punished.”
The written word above is the reason for simple and prudence not to be separated to have life in all man.
Are you a believer, a simple one that is living life to please God?
One that pleases self, claiming to seek God is without faith.
A believer is a simple one that pleases God by their ways of life before God.
Simple one pleases God by having faith in God.
Pleasing God by the ways of life is the evidence of faith.
Enoch lives life pleasing God, Hebrews 11:5 buttresses, “By faith Enoch was taken away so that he did not see death, “and was not found, because God had taken him”; for before he was taken he had this testimony, that he pleased God.”
To be a simple one before God is not by force but a choice that is wise for all living life in the ways of God. A simple one is rooted in giving self to the word of God, the source of faith.
A simple one will claim God’s promise as Hebrew 11:6 states, “But without faith, it is impossible to please him, for he who comes to God must believe that He is and that He is a rewarder of those who diligently seek Him.”
Before God, be a simple one with faith.

Prayer for today: Ask from God to be a simple one in your ways of life.

KNOW HIM TO KNOW

FAITH CAPSULE: Do not settle for knowing about God, get to know God!

2 Peter 1

Among reasons to seek him diligently is to know him not to only know about him.
Seeking to know God in His Word is the source of faith, to gain the understanding and to know God, having a profound relationship with God.
Seeking God diligently, to know Him is the reason to trust and hope in God.
Jeremiah 17:7 buttresses, “Blessed is the man who trusts in the Lord, and whose hope is the Lord.” Seek God to know Him, trusting and hoping in Him at all time.
It is certain, knowing that God knows you will prompt you to know Him and become build in Him, to the glory of His name.
Know Him to Know:
HE KNOWS ALL BY NAME
Assuredly, God knows all, why not seek Him to know Him and gain His presence? Isaiah 43:1 records, “But now, thus says the Lord, who created you, O Jacob, And He who formed you, O Israel: “Fear not, for I have redeemed you; I have called you by your name; You are Mine.” God said that we are His, why not approach Him boldly, expectantly as His?
HE WILL FIGHT FOR YOU
Seek God diligently for Him to fight on your behalf in the physical or spiritual battle. Exodus 14:14 records “The Lord will fight for you, and you shall hold your peace.” The word of God is true to perform if one will know Him enough to know that He will fight on your behalf.
HE THINKS ABOUT YOU
A precious father does not stop thinking of all man even when any man places God out of mind. Psalm 139:17 stated, “How precious also are Your thoughts to me, O God! How great is the sum of them!” In His thought, He is good to man and He says, “For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, says the Lord, thoughts of peace and not of evil, to give you a future and a hope.” (Jeremiah 29:11)
HE IS ALWAYS WITH YOU
God does not lie or talk in waste. His word does not return to Him void. (Isaiah 55:11) God will not say what He will not do and that gives the assurance that God is always with all man till the end of the age. It is written in Matthew 28:20, “teaching them to observe all things that I have commanded you; and lo, I am with you always, even to the end of the age.” Amen.
Get to Know God, do as commanded by His word which is the assurance that He is with you always.
HE IS NOT A PARTIAL GOD
Give self to God in His word. Gain understanding and have the knowledge to be approaching God that was, God that is, the God forever. He is the unchanging changer that is not partial. Romans 2:11 said it well, “For there is no partiality with God.”
One that does not know God but to only know about God is not exposed to His revelation.
For your good, do not stop at knowing about God but know Him to know!

Prayer for today: Ask Him for self to know Him.

YOU MUST!

FAITH CAPSULE: In this wicked world, knowing God will mark you to live life for the glory of God.

John 8:1-47

Knowing God does not have an iota of doubt about God but to know God beyond doubt.
In this wicked world, put aside every logic or philosophy to believe that there is God. He is the Omnipotent, Omnipresent God with no reason to prove Himself, the testimonies of God speak loud to one that will hear Him.
Quoting the word of God or singing the name of God is not evidence of knowing God. Without knowing God, speaking loudly or acting love before God is deception.
Working in the name of God but not walking in His word does not know God but knows about God.
Many are making possible means for God, in the name of God but do not know God. Matthew 7:22-23 records Jesus’ response to such, claiming to know Him, “Many will say to Me in that day, ‘Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in Your name, cast out demons in Your name, and done many wonders in Your name?’ 23 And then I will declare to them, ‘I never knew you; depart from Me, you who practice lawlessness!”
Does Jesus’ word speak to you?
Search yourself to identify self if: You KNOW GOD or YOU KNOW ABOUT GOD.
Among the reasons why you do not know God but only know about God is the lack of understanding and not believe Him.
Lack of Understanding:
A failure of giving attention will result in listening disability. Jesus questioned and answered why lack of understanding, “Why do you not understand My speech? Because you are not able to listen to My word.” (John 8:43)
It is not possible to understand what or who you do not know. The world is too busy for self, and not to give attention to God. One that gives attention to God will listen to gain understanding, to know God for who He is. He is a good God, the One that reverses irreversible.
Forgetting attributes of God:
Forgetting attributes of God, not being thought about Him will not know God.  Deuteronomy 4:5-6 buttresses, “Surely I have taught you statutes and judgments, just as the Lord my God commanded me, that you should act according to them in the land which you go to possess. 6 Therefore be careful to observe them; for this is your wisdom and your understanding…” One that is not exposed to learn about God will not give attention to understand the attributes of God enough to know God.
Truth is not appealing:
Truth is not popular, is not acceptable to the world. It is not possible to know what is not accepted, not believed. John 8:45-47 records Jesus’ word that speaks the truth about not knowing God, “But because I tell the truth, you do not believe Me. 46 Which of you convicts Me of sin? And if I tell the truth, why do you not believe Me? 47 He who is of God hears God’s words; therefore, you do not hear, because you are not of God.” One that does not accept truth to believe does not know God that is true.

Prayer for today: Ask God that you want to know Him.

DENY DISTRACTION

FAITH CAPSULE: Deny self to deny distraction in your life, to be a follower of Christ.

John 12:1-26

Claiming to be a Christian is a self-declaration as a follower of Christ. A Christ-follower must live as a server of God with the whole heart.
Are you Christian by mouth but not by heart that does not follow God fully?
Failure to serve God with the whole heart is the evidence of not following Him fully.
One that follows Him fully by obeying His word we live life for His glory.
The word of God is His promise for all man to obey and claim His blessing.
As a result of not following God fully, every Israelite that left Egypt above the age of twenty failed to complete their journey to the Promised Land.
Are you serving God fully to avoid a failure not to arrive at God’s promise?
Many are committed believers such as the prayer intercessors, choir leaders, ushers, Sunday school teachers, deacons, and elders do not follower Christ fully. Jesus responded to uncommitted believers as stated: “Then Jesus said to His disciples, if anyone desires to come after Me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross, and follow Me.” (Matthew 16:24)
Are you a committed believer that is following Jesus fully?
Are you a committed believer with the deception before a man but not able to deceive God?
Is there any way for you to hear it better so that you can understand and know that in serving Him, you must follow Him fully? Jesus said, “If anyone serves Me, let him follow Me: and where I am, there My servant will be also. If anyone serves Me, My Father will honor.” (John 12:26) Give your ear to hear God’s word!
One that gives ear to God’s word that will receive direction not to become a victim of distraction.
A believer with distracted becomes impossible to follow God fully.
In the Bible, Martha the sister of Mary and Lazarus followed Jesus but was distracted in her following Jesus. The Bible recorded about Martha’s issue of distraction with the response of Jesus in Luke 10:39-40, “And she had a sister called Mary, who also sat at Jesus’ feet and heard His word. But Martha was distracted with much serving, and she approached Him and said, ‘Lord do you care that my sister has left me to serve alone? Therefore, tell her to help me. And Jesus answered and said to her, “Martha, Martha, you are worried and troubled about many things. But one thing is needed, and Mary has chosen that good part, which will not be taken away from her.” The case of Martha is the evidence that serving with distraction is not following God fully.
The word of God is His promise that will not fail if one will give ear to receive His word.
Isaiah 55:11 encourage all, “So shall My word be that goes forth from My mouth; It shall not return to Me void, But it shall accomplish what I please, And it shall prosper in the thing for which I sent it.”
Give your ear to God’s word to do as a follower of God’s word.

Prayer for today: Ask God to touch you and live life to follow His word.

FAITH-FAIL

FAITH CAPSULE: Is faith-fail your way of life before God?

Luke 22:31-62

Jesus calls it faith-fail when one consciously or unconsciously denies God by action and confession.
Faith-fail is the evidence of Love-fail.
Without doubt, no man is born with faith, and none becomes faithful by accident.
The word of God identifies how faith comes into a man’s life: “So then faith comes by hearing and hearing by the word of God. ” (Romans 10:17)
Faith comes into man’s life by hearing and hearing by the word of God.
Faith that comes into a man’s life is possible to depart from a man’s life when a man stops giving self to the word of God continually.
Faith will not fail when one is faith-full, one that is full of God’s word continually.
Do you have faith?
One that claims to have faith but not faith-full will not live life for the glory of God but set self for faith-fail.
Regardless of how long you have been walking before God will not excuse you from becoming a victim of faith-fail except if you are full of God’s word.
Faith-fail can be the evidence of knowing about God but not know God.
Faith-fail can be with determination to stand for God, but without knowing God, will deny God. With understanding, know God to be faith-full of His word, for your deliverance and preservation not to become a victim of faith-fail.
At the time of Jesus’ betrayal and arrest in Gethsemane, Peter, the disciple of Jesus denied his knowledge of Jesus the evidence of faith-fail of Peter.
Just like Peter, are you with the determination not to deny God which is faith-fail?
Do you know God or you know about God?
The Bible records Peter’s faith-fail despite his determination not deny God:
“…Jesus said to him, “Assuredly, I say to you that this night before the rooster crows, you will deny Me three times.” Peter said to Him, “Even if I have to die with You, I will not deny You…” (Matthew 26:34-35)
Peter does not know God but became a victim of faith-fail. With understanding, knowing God will not deny God.
Bible records Peter’s denial of Jesus:
“…But again he denied with an oath, “I do not know the Man!” And a little later those who stood by came up and said to Peter, “Surely you also are one of them, for your speech betrays you…” (Matthew 26:69-75)
Peter’s Faith-failure was inevitable because he only knows about God, but eventually denied Jesus.
Is faith-fail your way of life before God?
Continually, give yourself to prayer and the ministry of the word for your deliverance and preservation from faith-fail.
Earlier, before the betrayal and denial of Peter, Jesus prayed against Peter’s faith-fail, “But I have prayed for you, that your faith should not fail…” (Luke 22:32)
Praying God’s word will work to deliver and preserve you to live life and not to become a victim of faith-fail.
Are you watching and praying not to become a victim of Faith-fail?

Prayer for today: Ask God with His strength to work in you not to become a victim of faith-fail.
