COME OUT OF SIN TO SEEK GOD

FAITH CAPSULE: Be truthful with no deception, come out of sin to Seek God diligently.

Romans 3

A decorated name for sin is PRIDE. Pride answers as a personal ride for self-destruction.  The desire to live life for the glory of God is seeking God diligently. One that follows His word does not despise His word but will take a position to see God. Despising God’s word will set one for self-destruction. (Proverbs 13:13) In life, despising God’s word will plunge man into sin. With sin, man is not seeking God and will not see God. It is not possible to be claiming seeking God diligently while telling lies, deceiving and manipulating others.
God despises lies, deception, and manipulation which man embraces.
Telling lies, deceiving and manipulating man is a sin before God. Before God, there is no reasonable excuse for a man with lies, deception, and manipulation claiming for God before man.
There is nothing that is hidden from God because He hears and sees all. Sin is a sin before God; sin can last for a thousand year, but a day is enough for God to expose a thousand years in a day.
Are you conversant with lies, deception, and manipulation? You are a man that is claiming the hand of God in your doing, in the name of the miracle of God but God will not overlook His judgment at His appointed time. Seek God diligently, come out of sin abhor iniquity. With your sin and claiming His name, word of God speaks to you: “Not everyone who says to Me, ‘Lord, Lord,’ shall enter the kingdom of heaven, but he who does the will of My Father in heaven. 22 Many will say to Me in that day, ‘Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in Your name, cast out demons in Your name, and done many wonders in Your name?’ 23 And then I will declare to them, ‘I never knew you; depart from Me, you who practice lawlessness!’” (Matthew 7:21-23)
Sin is not seeking God but getting exposed to the devil. There is no way a man can give acceptable glory to God with lies hidden as truth which is not of God. Word of Paul speaks about sin as deception of truth: “For if the truth of God has increased through my lie to His glory, why am I also still judged as a sinner? 8 And why not say, “Let us do evil that good may come”? —as we are slanderously reported and as some affirm that we say. Their condemnation is just.” (Romans 3:7-8) Be truthful with no deception, come out of sin to Seek God diligently.
Do you know any of your sins that can be a stumbling force from seeking God to see God? If there is any, repent for your redemption before God.

Prayer for today: Ask God for forgiveness of conscious sin or unconscious sin in your life.

JOURNEY OF GOD’S CALLING

FAITH CAPSULE: In your journey, commit yourself to no man but commit to God.

Genesis 37

Engaging the calling upon your life, the journey of life, commit yourself to no man but commit to God. In Jesus’ word is wisdom not to commit unto man, as stated, “But Jesus did not commit Himself to them, because He knew all men.” (John 2:24)
In the type of God’s calling over one’s life is not within one to decide or negotiate for one’s preference type of God’s calling to answer before God. God is the Creator of all and sees before or beyond all of our journey in life. In all of God’s calling, there is a plan of God to set one up to arrive at the center of divine assignment if called one will focus on His faithfulness.
When God calls, there will be no prior arrangement; there be no announcement before calling; there be no baggage to hinder or slow one down. Above all, God’s calling will break one before the manifestation of God’s blessing.
Your journey today is possible to be a journey that is leading you into the calling of God. Joseph engaged an unexpected journey with an unknown and painful route to becoming gainful in the hand of God.  In the calling of God, Joseph, in his journey of answering to God he was broken before the manifestation of God’s blessing over his life.
Joseph answered God’s calling over his life without knowing the journey of God’s calling ahead of his life. At age 17, Joseph’s answering to Jacob (his father) was the route for the path to his center of God’s assignment. Jacob said, “…Please go and see if it is well with your brothers and well with the flocks and bring back word to me.” So, he sent him out of the Valley of Hebron, and he went to Shechem.” (Genesis 37:14) The answering to Jacob led Joseph into the journey of God’s divine assignment without preparation before entering of his God’s calling.
The book of Psalm 105:17-22 shed light on the truth that Joseph’s journey was his answer to God’s calling. Psalm 105:17-22, “He sent a man before them Joseph who was sold as a slave.” They hurt his feet with fetters, He was laid in irons. “Until the time that his word came to pass, the word of the Lord tested him. The king sent and released him, the ruler of the people let him go free. He made him lord of his house, and ruler of all his possessions, to bind his princes at his pleasure, and teach his elders wisdom.”
Joseph at 17 years (Genesis 37:2) could not see his beloved father Jacob until over 30 years of age. (Genesis 41:46)
When God calls to send you, self-control shall be out of your control.
When He called Joseph, he became a slave; he could no longer move at his own will or self-control. Joseph came under the authority which he could not control. Joseph, in his journey, he remained focus on God to graduate from a priced slave to become a prime minister.

Prayer for today: Ask God for God’s established hand upon your life to live life for His glory.

ANSWER TO HIS CALLING!

FAITH CAPSULE: His calling for your life will come as a process for His purpose.

God alone created all for His glory and His honor. Revelation 4:11 buttressed, “You are worthy, O Lord, to receive glory and honor and power; For You created all things, and by Your will, they exist and were created.” What is it that you do not understand about God? He alone is the Almighty, the Ancient of days. 1Timothy 6:15 described Him, “which He will manifest in His own time, He who is the blessed and only Potentate, the King of kings and Lord of lords.” God alone is above and beyond all as Psalmist said it right, “The Lord sat enthroned at the Flood, And the Lord sits as King forever.” (Psalm 29:10)
God will make and un-make, He alone is the unchanging changer, He alone will reverse the irreversible. You did not create yourself. Your journey of life is the calling of God which is your only creator.
When God calls you out for His divine assignment for your life will come as a process for His purpose. When God calls you, and you are not connected to God continually concentration on God’s calling one is set to fail. In your God’s calling, dwell in His call and abide in His direction is the evidence to be connected with God continually and be concentrated on God’s calling.
God has a calling for all man with a different assignment.
God created all for His purpose, for His glory.
God’s word confirmed that our Lord God is worthy to receive glory and honor and power. He created all things to exist. (Revelations 4:11) Whatever God calls you for, or when He calls you for His purpose, to send you will mark you as a candidate for His blessing.
His calling will break you at the initial stage of calling but will no doubt turn to God’s blessing when obedient is in place.
The ones He breaks are meant to be blessed. His breaking comes along with His blessing. (Jesus broke and blessed the bread of life)
In the time of His calling, He will never leave you broken if you answer to His calling faithfully.
The called one should not look away from His help. When God called Lot and his family for salvation, the wife of Lot looked outside of God’s direction for her self-destruction. (Genesis 19:26)
The calling of God does not come without challenges (challenges that are enough to cause the calling of man to crumble comes along with calling) Regardless of challenges, there is the promise of God to see one through in His calling. The word of God promised in 1Thessalonian 5:24, “He who calls you is faithful, who also will do it.” What or when God calls for you and you invite doubt the agent of limitation is erecting a roadblock for your miracle. Deny doubt! Doubt will discourage you. Discouragement will question you with negativity to redirect your calling wrongly.

Prayer for today: Ask for your faith in answering Him not to be a failure.

HE CARES FOR ALL

Faith Capsule: Do you understand how much He cares for you as His child?

Psalm 8

God is mindful of us to care more than we understand or know. God cares with His deliverance and preservation for all. Do you understand how much He cares for you as His child? David’s curiosity questioned in Psalm 8:4-6, “What is man that You are mindful of him, and the son of man that You visit him? For You have made him a little lower than the angels, and You have crowned him with glory and honor. You have made him to have dominion over the works of Your hands; You have put all things under his feet…” Curiosity of David revealed the truthfulness of God’s care for all His creation.
God’s mindful of man is the evidence that God is near to all. God is near to us but are we near to God?
Testimony of Deuteronomy 4:7 is the evidence that God is near, “For what great nation is there that has God so near to it, as the Lord our God is to us, for whatever reason we may call upon Him?” Jeremiah 23:23 confirms that God is near, “Am I a God near at hand,” says the Lord, “And not a God afar off?”
When God is near the presence of God is evident. However, sin will always keep a man from God that is near. Sin, not obeying God for correction to trust God will keep the sinner from God’s presence. Zephaniah 3:2 buttressed that sin will keep sinning man from His presence. It is written, “She has not obeyed His voice, she has not received correction; She has not trusted in the Lord, She has not drawn near to her God.”
God is mindful of all man. God is near to us and cares for all that care to live life by His word.
God does have a position of deliverance for all man with acknowledgment of His care and living life in the consciousness of His presence obediently in His word.
God was near to Elisha was the evidence of His care for his deliverance.
However, Elisha’s servant was not aware of the presence of God for their deliverance because he was not near to God with understanding to know God as Elisha do. Elisha was aware of God’s near which cares over his life. The reason for Elisha to see and commanded (with prayer) for the forces of God on his behalf was his knowledge of his near to God. The bible recorded, “So when the Syrians came down to him, Elisha prayed to the LORD, and said, “Strike this people, I pray, with blindness.” And He struck them with blindness according to the word of Elisha.” (2 Kings 6:18) Living in the consciousness of God’s care is the evidence of faith; the expression of expectation for God’s divine protection at all time.

Prayer for today: Ask God with desire to live life in the consciousness of His care for your life.

BE A TEMPLE OF GOD

Faith Capsule: God only look at your ways of living life from the inside not from the outside.

Matthew 23

When it was time for Jesus to clean the temple the bible recorded, “Then He went into the temple and began to drive out those who bought and sold in it, saying to them, “It is written, ‘My house is a house of prayer,’ but you have made it a ‘den of thieves.’” (Luke 19:45-46) Cleaning of the temple was not from outside to inside it was from the inside to outside. Evidently, God does not look from outside to inside but will look to clean from inside to outside. As a temple of God, how clean is your inside compared to your outside? It is important to know that what you present on the outside world is not as important to God compared to what you carry in the inside. The Pharisees were one of the major sects among the Jews during the days of the New Testament. Pharisees, meaning separated ones, believed that religious rituals and separation from sinners were the way to please God. Matters such as the laws of tithing and ritual purity were very important to the Pharisees. Jesus referred to them as hypocrites. He said in Matthew 23:25, “Woe to you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! For you cleanse the outside of the cup and dish, but inside they are full of extortion and self-indulgence.” As a temple of God, there is a need to take a close look from the inside to know if you are a Pharisee of the modern day. Are you one of those who want to shine on the outside while the inside is dull and cannot be presented before the Lord?
Are you a modern-day Pharisees that will offer more than what is requested for the outside while the inside is not being attended to? Interestingly, man can be deceived because man looks from the outside, but God cannot be deceived because He looks from the inside. God sees all and that demands from man to come out of self-deception to remain clean before God. Today, get it right and know it that God only look at your ways of living life from the inside not from the outside. At the time Jesus went into the temple to clean, nothing on the outside could impress Him enough not to start cleaning from the inside. Today, no man’s title is enough to impress Jesus. As a believer, do not be deceived by your title. God is only interested with how man is living life for His glory. Truly, it is a clean temple from inside to outside that answers to God’s expectation for all.
After the cleaning of the temple, Jesus was able to teach and get the attention of the people in the temple. After cleaning the temple, the temple became a house of prayer and it no longer answer as a den of thieves. Make yourself available for Jesus to clean you.

Prayer for today: Ask God to cleanse you and make you to become a house of prayer.
