THIS FAR

FAITH CAPSULE: This far, fear God!

Psalm 64

Thus, this far, your living life this far is God’s doing. Think of it! Living life this far is not a right but great privilege of God. Are you acknowledging God’s privilege over your life? The glamorous celebration of God’s gift in one season is not acknowledging God but arousing self’s emotion. However, this far is time to reflect and to allow the fear of God to take charge of your life. Fear God which brought you this far.
To fear God is to live the life of fulfillment to the glory of God.
It is important to fear God as recorded in the pages of the Bible.
Learn and know or to remind self of the fear of God.
Ecclesiastes 12:13, “Let us hear the conclusion of the whole matter: Fear God and keep His commandments, for this is man’s all.”
Deuteronomy 4:10, “…Gather the people to Me, and I will let them hear My words, that they may learn to fear Me all the days they live on the earth, and that they may teach their children.”
Job 28:28, “…And to man, He said, ‘Behold, the fear of the Lord, that is wisdom, and to depart from evil is understanding…”
To fear God is abiding in Him and not depart from Him.
Jeremiah 32:40 buttressed, “And I will make an everlasting covenant with them, that I will not turn away from doing them good; but I will put My fear in their hearts so that they will not depart from Me.”
Are you serving God with no understanding? Serving God is to fear Him. Psalm 2:11, “Serve the Lord with fear, and rejoice with trembling.”
Living life in the promises of God demands to fear God.
Psalm 25:12-14, “Who is the man that fears the LORD? Him shall He teach in the way He chooses. He himself shall dwell in prosperity, and his descendants shall inherit the earth. The secret of the LORD is with those who fear Him, and He will show them His covenant.”
Psalm 33:18 “Behold, the eye of the Lord is on those who fear Him, on those who hope in His mercy.”
Psalm 34:7-9 “The angel of the LORD encamps all around those who fear Him, and delivers them. Oh, taste and see that the LORDis good; blessed is the man who trusts in Him! Oh, fear the LORD, you His saints! There is no want to those who fear Him.”
Let the fear of God keep you under the eyes of God.
Luke 1:50, “And His mercy is on those who fear Him From generation to generation.”
This far, fear God!
Revelation 2:10 said it all, “Do not fear any of those things which you are about to suffer.” Indeed, the devil is about to throw some of you into prison, that you may be tested, and you will have tribulation ten days. Be faithful until death, and I will give you the crown of life.”
Why not allow the fear of God become your priority?
This far, let the fear of God become you compass to arrive at God’s divine agenda for your life.

Prayer for today: Ask God for His fear to take over your life.

GIVE THANKS TO GOD

FAITH CAPSULE: In giving thanks to God is getting attention from God.

Psalm 136

Give God the sacrifice of thanksgiving continually to seek God diligently. Giving thanks is not a thinking engagement. Giving thanks is rooted in faith, appreciating God for what He has done, what He is doing and all He will do. Giving God thanksgiving, praising God continually lines together and cannot be separated. Psalm 100:4 recorded, “Enter into His gates with thanksgiving, And into His courts with praise…”
God is a God of jealousy while giving Him attention is what pleases Him to give back His attention. In giving thanks to God is getting attention from God.
King David’s successful to return the ark of God to his city prompted thanksgiving to God. The thanksgiving of King David stated, “Oh, give thanks to the Lord! Call upon His name; Make known His deeds among the peoples! Sing to Him, sing psalms to Him; Talk of all His wondrous works!” (1Chronicles 16:8-9) King David’s thanksgiving called upon God and made known God’s deed. Thanksgiving of King David is recorded for our learning to gain understanding about what it means to give self to the sacrifice of thanksgiving to God. Giving thanks to God is not a casual engagement. With understanding, giving reasonable thanks to God demands continual doing.
Jesus’ encounter with ten lepers pointed out that God awaits all man’s thanksgiving at all time. When Jesus healed ten lepers, only one of the lepers returned to give thanks to Jesus. Jesus reacted to one leper’s thanksgiving, “And one of them, when he saw that he was healed, returned, and with a loud voice glorified God, and fell down on his face at His feet, giving Him thanks. And he was a Samaritan. So Jesus answered and said, “Were there not ten cleansed? But where are the nine? 18 Were there not any found who returned to give glory to God except this foreigner?” And He said to him, “Arise, go your way. Your faith has made you well.” (Luke 17:15-19)
Giving thanks to God is a reasonable sacrifice, it is a good doing before God.
Psalm 92:1-2 stated, “It is good to give thanks to the LORD and to sing praises to Your name, O Most High” Thanking and praising God is an act of declaring His goodness at all time. The Psalmist stated when to declare His thanks, to declare Your lovingkindness in the morning, And Your faithfulness every night.”
When understanding backs up conviction, it delivers an undeniable miracle. Volumes and pages of a book will never be enough to identify what thanking and praising God is doing.
Giving God the sacrifice of thanks is giving self to seeking God diligently.

Prayer for today: Ask God to enable you with heart of seeking Him with thanks giving diligently.

GIVE THE GIFT OF PRAISE TO GOD

FAITH CAPSULE: Praising God is not entertainment to impress a man.

Psalm 100, 1 Samuel 13

Aftermath or upshot of the celebration of the gift of God, it is you to give God the gift of sacrificial such as praise, diligently. Praising God with understanding is giving self to God as a reasonable sacrifice before God, to seek God diligently. The Bible recorded, “For God is the King of all the earth; Sing praises with understanding.” (Psalm 47:7) In life, understanding of all doing is the way to get the manifestation of expectation. Praising God should be rooted in the heart but not pretending praising before any man. Praising God is placing God gloriously high. Praising God is not entertainment to impress a man but a vehicle to enter and locate God for His presence. Psalm 100:4 recorded, “Enter into His gates with thanksgiving, And into His courts with praise…” There is nothing to be compared to entering God’s presence like praise worship which is sacrificing God diligently.
Praising God is not a display of talent before God, but a way of gaining a place in the presence of God. Psalm 22:3 buttressed, “But You are holy, Enthroned in the praises of Israel.” Give self to praising God with understanding to gain His presence.
Praising God with self-consciousness is understanding and knowledge to come out of self to give praise to God. Psalm 69:30 stated, “I will praise the name of God with a song and will magnify Him with thanksgiving.” Giving self to praising God is seeking God diligently with expectation to be raised by God. King David sought God diligently, his praising of God was evident before God when he was bringing the ark of God back to his city. Bible records David’s praise, “Then David danced[g] before the Lord with all his might, and David was wearing a linen ephod. 15 So David and all the house of Israel brought up the ark of the Lord with shouting and with the sound of the trumpet. 16 Now as the ark of the Lord came into the City of David, Michal, Saul’s daughter, looked through a window and saw King David leaping and whirling before the Lord…” (2 Samuel 6:14-16)
God raised David, and He identified David over King Saul. God spoke through Samuel, “…The Lord has sought for Himself a man after His own heart, and the Lord has commanded him to be commander over His people because you have not kept what the Lord commanded you.”  (1 Samuel 13;14) A man of heart praising God is a man of praising God just like King David.
Praising God is not only in singing to God but can be a time of declaration of God’s awesomeness for what He has done, what He is doing and what He will do. Continuous praising God is a demonstration of faith that God cannot be limited in what He can do in the life of one that seek Him diligently.

Prayer for today: Ask for praising God diligently.

AFTERMATH OF HIS CELEBRATION

FAITH CAPSULE: Give self to give back to God for His gift to all.

2 Samuel 24

Jesus is the gift of God for man’s salvation not to miss eternal life. Romans 6:23 buttressed, “For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord.” God gave us Jesus, besides celebrating the gift of God what is it that you are giving back to God? Celebrating the birth of Jesus is not enough to be counted as giving back to God. What have you been giving back or what are you giving back to God for giving Jesus for you and all?  It is a right doing to be celebrating the birth of Jesus in all season but celebrating His birth in one season is evidence of doing what is right to do in a wrong way. What is the aftermath of your glamorous celebration of the birth of God’s gift in your life? Celebration seasonal is not a license to make eternal life. With the understanding of God’s gift, one will gain eternal life.
What is the aftermath of your glamorous celebration of the birth of God’s gift in your life? Celebration seasonal is not a license to make eternal life. With the understanding of God’s gift, one will gain eternal life.
What are the demands of understanding to gain eternal life?
Sacrifice before God in all season is the understanding that will provoke wisdom and knowledge for all man not to be a victim of wicked world.
A reasonable sacrifice is an acceptable sacrifice which counts for all man before God. Reasonable sacrifice is the evidence of faithfulness. With faithfulness one access one to God with expectation for manifestation. Reasonable sacrifice before God is costly and not cheap. King David testified the need to give costly sacrifice to God instead of accepting free materials for sacrifice from Araunah before God. Bible recorded, “Then the king said to Araunah, “No, but I will surely buy it from you for a price; nor will I offer burnt offerings to the Lord my God with that which costs me nothing.” So, David bought the threshing floor and the oxen for fifty shekels of silver.” (2 Samuel 24:24) Give God a reasonable sacrifice of gift which is costly.
The sacrifice before God, to gain His attention is costly before God which demands seeking God diligently. Deuteronomy 4:29 states it, “…seek the Lord your God, and you will find Him if you seek Him with all your heart and with all your soul.” The word of God also requires from man to seek first the kingdom of God, His righteousness and all shall be added all things to those who seek diligently. (Matthew 6:33)
The sacrifice to seek God diligently demands giving self to God in all season, not in a season.
How do we give-self to seeking diligently?
Praising God, Thanksgiving, meditating His word and to believing in His word.
God gave His beloved Son to all, and He deserves the best of the gift from all.

Prayer for today: Ask for God’s hand upon self to give self back to God for His gift over your life.

JESUS IS GOD’S GIFT

FAITH CAPSULE: What is it that you have to offer Jesus as you celebrate Him today?

Luke 2:1-35
Jesus is the gift of God for man’s salvation. He is here for man’s deliverance and preservation if all man will engage Him, to unwrap Him as God’s gift.
Through the Bible, it is almost impossible to find any name in the Bible that does not answer to its meaning.
Here are some identified names which answered to a meaningful life: Joshua–God is Salvation; Samson–Strong; Delilah–Delicate; Josiah–Jehovah supports; and Samuel–Asked of God; Emmanuel—God with us. However, Jesus’ name answered and still answers as Immanuel. His name is power to deliver and preserve those who know to call in His name.
In this season of celebration, celebrate Him as the Lord and Savior and not as Santa from the North Pole. Jesus is the reason for the season. Get to know Jesus today. Jesus is –Yahweh saves, Immanuel–God with us, Light of the World–One who brings hope and gives guidance, Son of David–One who brings in the Kingdom, Chief Shepherd–Gives guidance and protection, Chief Cornerstone–A sure foundation of life, Firstborn from the Dead–Leads us into resurrection, and Word–Eternal God who ultimately reveals God. Identify with His name as evidence for knowing Him and owe no man or force an apology for knowing Him.
The celebration of the birth of Jesus is not with the understanding of His coming by His believers. Do you know the reason why you are celebrating the birth of Jesus? Jesus’s birth is His coming for all.
Jesus stated the reason for His coming, “The thief does not come except to steal, and to kill, and to destroy. I have come that they may have life and that they may have it more abundantly.” (John 10:10) Where there is a lack of understanding of His coming there will be no reason to believe.
The gift of God for all is His love offering for all. Word recorded in 1John 4:9, “In this, the love of God was manifested toward us, that God has sent His only begotten Son into the world, that we might live through Him.” Jesus is the love of God for all. 1 John 5:1 speaks to all man, “Whoever believes that Jesus is the Christ is born of God and everyone who loves Him who begot also loves him who is begotten of Him.” It is worthy that from this day, all man should know to unwrap God’s gift to man, as all man’s evidence to accepted God’s gift.  It is time to respond to God’s gift by accepting the love of God and abide in Him.
What is it that you have to offer Jesus as you celebrate Him?
Pay your attention to the truth that celebrating Jesus unpleasingly is a possible unacceptable celebration. With Faith, God is pleased with all man. Faith is the reason to Celebrate God’s gift faithfully.

Prayer for today: Ask God to open your understanding for the reason of Jesus as His gift for all.
