HIS PROMISES COMES WITH CONDITION

FAITH CAPSULE: God is waiting to act for one who waits for Him.

Isaiah 64

God has been faithful at all His promises in His word.
God is mindful of man not to be a victim of failure in the walks of life. Through Genesis to Revelation, His promises come with condition for man to claim God’s promises. Will you give yourself to God’s conditions for His promises? Word of God promised in old testament of Isaiah 64:4 stating, “For since the beginning of the world men have not heard nor perceived by the ear, nor has the eye seen any God besides You, Who acts for the one who waits for Him.”
Also, in new testament of 1Corinthians 2:9 it is written, “Eye has not seen, nor ear heard, nor have entered into the heart of man the things which God has prepared for those who love Him.” (1 Corinthians 2:9)
Both bible verses testified the blessings of God’s waiting to act for one who waits for Him. As stated in His word, condition to claim His promise is for those who love Him. By your way of living life, do you truly love God? Those who love God will know to wait on God who acts for the ones who wait on Him.
Waiting for God is failure impossibility; it is the assurance blessing no to be a failure in the walks of life. Conditions to claim God’s waiting to act for man are identified in Isaiah 64:5, “You meet him who rejoices and does righteousness, who remembers You in Your ways…” Rejoicing in God; doing righteousness, remembering God’s ways are conditions to be engaged by man for gaining the blessings of God.
REJOICE BEFORE GOD.
The importance of rejoicing to provoke God’s promise to act for ones that wait on Him are identified through scriptural verses in the bible. Among verses are, Psalm 9:2, “I will be glad and rejoice in You; I will sing praise to your name, O most High.” Psalm 16:11, “In Your presence is fullness of joy…” By the word of psalmist, one with joy takes the stand to access the presence of God where falling the walks of life becomes impossible. Proverbs 8:30 stated, “…I was daily His delight, rejoicing always before Him.” Verses above identified the truth that with joy, man is accessible to God that acts for ones who wait on Him. The Apostle Paul admonished the importance of joy stating, “Rejoice in the Lord always. Again I will say, rejoice!” (Philippians 4:4) Psalmist also testified, “For our heart shall rejoice in Him, because we have trusted in His holy name.” (Psalm 33:21)
Understanding about rejoicing when seeking God is provoking God to act on behalf of one. Psalm 70:4 buttressed “Let all those who seek You rejoice and be glad in You…” In truth, by His word, it certain that without rejoicing gaining His presence is not possible.Be joyful in the word of God according to the word of God. Ones that believe in the living word of God is waiting on God for God to act for one.

Prayer for today: Ask God for the grace to be obedient in His condition for His promises.

YOUR DELIVERANCE

FAITH CAPSULE: Today, trust and hope that your day or midnight hour’s deliverance will answer at full scale.

Exodus 12

Outstretch hand of God is His stretch out hand that will do more than any mighty hand. Pharaoh’s mighty hand was not enough to deny Israelites’ deliverance of over four hundred years of bondage. God told Moses, “But I am sure that the king of Egypt will not let you go, no, not even by a mighty hand. So I will stretch out My hand and strike Egypt with all My wonders which I will do in its midst; and after that he will let you go.” (Exodus 3:19-20) Indeed and in truth, the outstretch hand of God moved, “And it came to pass at midnight that the Lord struck all the firstborn in the land of Egypt, from the firstborn of Pharaoh who sat on his throne to the firstborn of the captive who was in the dungeon, and all the firstborn of livestock.  So Pharaoh rose in the night, he, all his servants, and all the Egyptians; and there was a great cry in Egypt, for there was not a house where there was not one dead.” (Exodus 12:29-30)
Daytime or midnight will answer with deliverance for man with obedience to God’s word. Is there any hour that challenging experience is your issue? With obedience to the word of God, it is certain that there is no bondage that will hold man down against appointed time of God’s deliverance.
Pharaoh reacted to God’s stretch hand of miracle at the midnight hour as recorded in Exodus 12:31-32, “Then he called for Moses and Aaron by night, and said, “Rise, go out from among my people, both you and the children of Israel. And go; serve the Lord as you have said. Also take your flocks and your herds, as you have said, and be gone; and bless me also.”  In addition to the Israelites freedom from the bondage at the midnight hour, favor of God backed the Israelites up. The Israelites were rewarded for their years of slave work. It is written, “And the Lord had given the people favor in the sight of the Egyptians, so that they granted them what they requested. Thus they plundered the Egyptians.” (Exodus 12:36) Today, trust and hope that your day or midnight hour’s deliverance will answer at full scale. God will cause you to plunder your enemy to recover in all which enemy has stole from you.
Obedience to God’s command was the key of the Israelites’ deliverance from years of slavery. Bible recorded, “Then the children of Israel went away and did so; just as the Lord had commanded Moses and Aaron, so they did.” (Exodus 12:28) Act of obedience is engaging God’s word to experience God’s wonder. Focusing on God is seeing to hear and giving self continually to word of God.

Prayer for today: Ask for God’s mercy to give self continually to God’s word.

COUNTING ON MAN?

FAITH CAPSULE: Do you know Him to call on Him rather than counting on man?

2 Chronicles 18: 28-34

Doubt of man is the evidence of man’s counting on man instead of counting on God. When man with doubt is looking up to God door is not going to be open. Without doubt, looking to man for intervention instead of counting on God for intervention is a certainty failure. Many claims to be a believer of God yet counting on man with persuasive and empty words and faking as agent of God. Also, counting on man is engaging an inevitable route for doubt which builds up to disappointment and fear. Doubt, disappointment or fear will lead to self-destruction.
Ahab the King of Israel invited Jehoshaphat the King of Judah to join forces with him against Ramoth Gilead for war. King Ahab refused Prophet Micaiah’s warning of God for his going to war against Ramoth Gilead. In the place of God, Ahab counted on his chosen four hundred prophets word for him to go for war. Ahab doubted word of God through Prophet Micaiah. Jehoshaphat was reluctant about going to war by the word of four hundred prophets. Ahab, persisted going to war as stated, “…I will disguise myself and go into battle; but you put on your robes.” So the king of Israel disguised himself, and they went into battle.” (2 Chronicles 18:29) Ahab’s self-deception is the evidence of his doubt in the word of God. Doubt of Ahab prompted him to disguise himself by counting on man’s word in the place of God’s word.
Word of God which locates man directly or indirectly does not open for self-destruction. King Ahab went to war against the word of God. Without iota of doubt, King Jehoshaphat did not disguise but depended on God. As the battle intensified Jehoshaphat was surrounded by enemies. It is written, “…when the captains of the chariots saw Jehoshaphat, that they said, “It is the king of Israel!” Therefore, they surrounded him to attack; but Jehoshaphat cried out, and the Lord helped him, and God diverted them from him.” (2Chronicles 18:31) Jehoshaphat had no doubt in God and did not disguise himself. Jehoshaphat depended on God’s word and the Lord God diverted his enemies away from him. Ahab made the choice to disguise himself to war because he counted on man’s word. Ahab was a victim of self as he was destroyed in the hand of his enemy. There is no way for deliverance when doubt and deception is a way of life. Ahab had no God to on while man was no competent for his deliverance from his enemy. Jehoshaphat trusted on God when he called out to God for his deliverance.
Does your situation sound like that of a stranded man? It could be that it is time for you to call on Jesus’ for intervention. Do you know Him to call on Him rather than counting on man?

Prayer for today: Ask God for the grace of looking up to Him in all areas of God given life to you

THIS NEW MONTH

FAITH CAPSULE: From this new month, set self to be steadfast focusing on God.

Genesis 19

With new month, give self continually to the word of God. Word of God is a warning to escape and not become a victim of self-destruction in the coming days. It was the warning for unbelievable destruction that was set for Noah and the people of Noah’s time. It is written, “By faith Noah, being divinely warned of things not yet seen, moved with godly fear, prepared an ark for the saving of his household, by which he condemned the world and became heir of the righteousness which is according to faith.” (Hebrews 11:7) Warning in the word God is being approached as joke and impossible to majority. Noah took to the warning word of God for many years building up himself and his family’s protection according to the warning word of God.
In this month, gain and maintain focus on the word of God and let the past be in the past by ignoring multitudes in your life. Maintaining focus is crucial to seeking God to be drawn by God. Focus will keep man from distraction. Distraction will deny man from maintaining steadfast seeking God. Also, distraction can answer for direction to destruction.
Warning word of God answered for Lot and his family’s coming out their land to escape from destruction that was set by God because of wickedness of people. After bringing Lot and family out for escape, another warning sounded for escape journey in the life of Lot and his family. Genesis 19:17 recorded, “So it came to pass, when they had brought them outside, that he said, “Escape for your life! Do not look behind you nor stay anywhere in the plain. Escape to the mountains, lest you be destroyed.” Truly, giving self to warnings in the word of God demands giving self completely and continually to God’s warning. On the route of escape, Lot’s wife could not let the past be in the past she disregarded the warning of God. Destruction of Lot’s wife was recorded, “But his wife looked back behind him, and she became a pillar of salt.” (Genesis 19:26) Lot’s wife did the opposite when she looked back and became a pillar of salt. Whatever Lot’s wife was looking for in her past represented multitude (unnecessary baggage). The multitude in Lot’s wife denied her eternally. There is no man that goes forward by looking back. Also, there is no man that can set focus on the past with expectation to be drawn by God and not become a victim of destruction that is set before wicked world.
From this new month, set self to be steadfast focusing on God. Keep testimony of Lot’s wife that will make you to keep the word of God diligently. God’s warning will come to pass. The case of Lot’s wife is that of a shifted focus. Lot must have been steadfast looking forward to where the Lord was taking him and his family. It is time to give self completely and continually to God’s word.

Prayer for today: Ask for the grace to be steadfastly focused on God.

EXIT FROM BONDAGE

FAITH CAPSULE: Asking from God for your well-being is not a sin.

Exodus 11, 12:1-42

This day, know and expect in your prayer before God for His stretch-out hand that is undeniable for deliverance. Asking from God for your well-being is not a sin. With God, do not ask for less but ask more with expectation which is certain to deliver manifestation. God is a good God that answers when we ask, seek and knock. The Israelites cried out for deliverance from bondage in the hand of Pharaoh and Egyptians.
When it was time for God to bring the Israelites out of the bondage of over four hundred years, He spoke to Moses “But I am sure that the king of Egypt will not let you go, no, not even by a mighty hand.  So I will stretch out My hand and strike Egypt with all My wonders which I will do in its midst; and after that he will let you go. (Exodus 3:19-20)
God knew that Pharaoh will not let go the Israelites by a mighty hand but by His stretched-out hand. Truly Pharaoh saw mighty hand of God through nine painful plagues and he repeatedly deny the Israelites their salvation. When it was time for the stretch-out hand of God to manifest for the salvation of the Israelites, it was through uncommon wonder, stretch-out hand of God delivered the wonder of God which no evil one like Pharaoh will survive in your life.
It is written, “And the Lord said to Moses, “I will bring one more plague on Pharaoh and on Egypt. Afterward he will let you go from here. When he lets you go, he will surely drive you out of here altogether.” (Exodus 11:1) The stretch-out hand of God inflicted final blow on behalf of the Israelites for deliverance. This month, whatever it is that is representing Pharaoh in your life shall experience the stretch-out hand of God in Jesus name. This day, call on God to send one more plague on the representative of Pharaoh for your exiting from bondage.
One more plague was the tenth plague which took place at the midnight hour. With no exception, Pharaoh and whole Egyptians experienced the loss of their first born. The bible recorded, “So Pharaoh rose in the night, he, all his servants, and all the Egyptians; and there was a great cry in Egypt, for there was not a house where there was not one dead. Then he called for Moses and Aaron by night, and said, “Rise, go out from among my people, both you and the children of Israel. And go, serve the Lord as you have said.  Also take your flocks and your herds, as you have said, and be gone; and bless me also.” (Exodus 12:31-32) Ask from God for yours and expect His manifestation.

Prayer for today: Ask from God for His stretch-out for your total deliverance from bondage.
