GIVE THANKS WITH UNDERSTANDING

FAITH CAPSULE: Adopt self to giving thanks with understanding to God for His visitation.

Psalm 104

Praising God is seeking God. Psalm 47:7, recorded, “For God is the King of all the earth; Sing praises with understanding.” As praising God is with understanding, giving thanks to God should be with understanding. Giving thanks to God with understanding will grant one that is thanking God with undeniable access to the presence of God. Psalm 100:4 buttressed meaning of giving thanks to God with understanding, “Enter into His gates with thanksgiving, And into His courts with praise. Be thankful to Him, and bless His name.” Jesus gave thanks to God with understanding and it brought out Lazarus up from death of four days. It is written, “Then they took away the stone from the place where the dead man was lying. And Jesus lifted up His eyes and said, “Father, I thank You that You have heard Me.  And I know that You always hear Me…” (John 11:41-42) A meaning full thanks giving to God with understand will provoke the full of God’s manifestation. The word of God does not lie only the word of man is full of lie.
To be alive is a privilege it is not a right; to be alive is of mercy and it is not a thing of merit. Think of it, you are not just alive, but you are able to see the light of a new day. Your eyes are functioning, your legs are not stagnated, and your mind is in right condition. What a privilege of God to be alive? Think of it, turnaround from whatever is keeping you down from opening your mouth wide, giving God glorious thanks giving. From today, make it a pattern of life to be rising by giving thanks to God with understanding. God alone privilege man with qualification to be alive seeing the light of a new day. It is worthy to be seeking God’s face by appreciating Him for the grace of your being alive for the season. In the place of planning for the season without God is an error that will reduce man before God.
The psalmist praised, O Lord my God, You are very great: You are clothed with honor and majesty, Who cover Yourself with light as with a garment, Who stretch out the heavens like a curtain. He lays the beams of His upper chambers in the waters, Who makes the clouds His chariot, Who walks on the wings of the wind, Who makes His angels spirits, His ministers a flame of fire.” (Psalm 104:1-4) It is a wise move for man to take just a line out of the above scriptural verses and meditate on it all day long. Indeed, and in truth, thousands of tongues are not enough to thank God enough. God alone is more than worthy of all praise and adoration.

Prayer for today: Ask God for the grace of unceasing thanks giving with understanding to Him.

KNOW GOD

FAITH CAPSULE: Knowing God will be giving accessible to unfailing power of God in life.

John 11:1-44

The Israelites needed to know the name of their God. One and only creator is God. He spoke to Moses, “…Thus you shall say to the children of Israel: ‘The Lord God of your fathers, the God of Abraham, the God of Isaac, and the God of Jacob, has sent me to you. This is My name forever, and this is My memorial to all generations.’” (Exodus 3:15) Just has the Israelites needed to know God, today every living soul need to know God. God alone is the God to all generations. God is the unchanging changer; He is God of all generations that reverses irreversible. 1 Timothy 6:15-16 described God, “…which He will manifest in His own time, He who is the blessed and only Potentate, the King of kings and Lord of lords, who alone has immortality, dwelling in unapproachable light, whom no man has seen or can see, to whom be honor and everlasting power. Amen.” Knowing the name of God will be giving man access to unfailing power of God for deliverance and preservation. Just knowing about the name of God is not enough for gaining access to the power of God. What man knows about God will determine the standing of man before God in this wicked world.
Man, that knows God will have the fear of God. Psalm 33:18 stated the blessings of living life in the fear for God, “Behold, the eye of the Lord is on those who fear Him, on those who hope in His mercy.”  Without doubt, man should know God to fear God because the fear of the Lord is His treasure. (Isaiah 33:6) Man, that knows to fear God is certain to be righteous before God. Bible recorded the blessings of man that is righteous before God stating, “The name of the Lord is a strong tower; the righteous run to it and are safe.” (Proverbs 18:10) Do you know God to be running to God as your strong tower?
The name of God is powerful, and His name is magnified. Psalm 138:2 testified, “I will worship toward Your holy temple, and praise Your name For Your lovingkindness and Your truth; For You have magnified Your word above all Your name.
Think of it to know that the word of God is magnified indeed and in truth because there is nothing God can do without His word. In the beginning, it was the spoken word of God that created all things. The word of God can terminate struggle when it locates man with need for deliverance. It was the word of God that brought out Lazarus from the grave of four days. The name of God is a strong tower and His word is magnified. It is time to live life as one that knows God.

Prayer for today: Ask God for the grace to know God indeed and in truth.

PREPARE AND BE READY

FAITH CAPSULE: Seek and serve God to prepare and be ready for His visitation.

Exodus 19

God created man to live life seeking God in His way. Living life in the way of God is living for the glory of God. Revelation 4:11 buttressed, “You are worthy, O Lord, to receive glory and honor and power; For You created all things, And by Your will they exist and were created.” It is important to know and understand that to seek God is to serve Him. God brought the Israelites out of the bondage of over four hundred years to seek and serve Him. What is representing bondage of Egypt in your life and not able to seek and serve God?
In life, the lack of understanding to be serving God is limiting the manifestation of God’s power in man’s life. Just as the Israelites were in the bondage of Egypt for over four hundred years, are you in any bondage of life and not able to seek and serve God?
Israelites were delivered out of the bondage of Egypt with the purpose of serving God. Just like the Israelites, God wants man to be out of every representative of Egypt in life and be seeking Him for His glory. God spoke to Moses, “…When you have brought the people out of Egypt, you shall serve God on this mountain.” (Exodus 3:12) God also sent Moses to Pharaoh stating, “Then you shall say to Pharaoh, ‘thus says the Lord: “Israel is My son, My firstborn.  So I say to you, let My son go that he may serve Me…” (Exodus 4:22-23) God is a jealous God and He wants nothing from us but to seek and serve Him.
Seeking God, serving God today should be a way of living life in preparation and be ready to see (testify) the glory of God. The coming out of Egypt to serve God demanded from the Israelites to prepare and be ready for the visitation of God. God spoke to Moses, “Go to the people and consecrate them today and tomorrow, and let them wash their clothes. And let them be ready for the third day. For on the third day the Lord will come down upon Mount Sinai in the sight of all the people.” (Exodus 19:10-11) Man must seek God to be seeing God by encountering His visitation for salvation in this wicked world of today. The Israelites were commanded to prepare (to consecrate and wash their clothes) and be ready for God’s visitation. Today, man should live daily prepared (by living the word of God) and be ready to engage and maintain the hand of God for unfailing deliverance in the wicked world of today. Are you seeking God daily with preparation and to be ready for God’s visitation?
Engage the word of God daily to be prepared, be ready for God’s visitation and not to miss His visitation.

Prayer for today: Ask for the grace of God  for you to seek and serve God at every breath He has given you.

IT IS A MUST!

FAITH CAPSULE: Seek God sacrificially and please Him in His way but not in your way.

Numbers 22

Man must seek God in His appropriate to seek Him and see Him. It is important for man to seek God for man’s attainment before God. Are you seeking Him diligently or carelessly? God is the Creating creator we must seek Him diligently. When Balaam was moving in opposite direction to God’s word, God opened mouth of donkey where there was no man to speak correction into Balaam’s life. Numbers 22:28, recorded “Then the Lord opened the mouth of the donkey, and she said to Balaam, “What have I done to you, that you have struck me these three times?” Seek God, be available for Him and disallow seeking any outside of God. Who are you seeking? In the place of seeking God, are you seeking prophet-liar or false apostle?
When man is not available for God, God will make use of stone or donkey.
Waiting on God is seeking God by waiting on God that waits to act for those who wait on Him. Isaiah 30:18 testified, “Therefore the Lord will wait, that He may be gracious to you; and therefore, He will be exalted, that He may have mercy on you. For the Lord is a God of justice; Blessed are all those who wait for Him.” Man must seek God with attention, expecting to find God and receive from Him. (lame man in Acts3:1-10 is an example)
Jealous God is not a slave master that will force man to seek Him but a saving God. Seeking God demands understanding to seek Him sacrificially and to please Him to see Him. SACRIFICE: Sacrificially to seek God must be worthy and costly. Abel’s worthy and costly sacrificial offering to seek God made him to attain respect from God. It is written, “Abel also brought of the firstborn of his flock and of their fat. And the Lord respected Abel and his offering.” (Genesis 4:4) God cannot be deceived to receive from Him. Cain the brother of Abel could not seek God with a worthy and costly sacrifice.
PLEASING: Pleasing God is in man’s action. God sees in our action and it measures in weight before Him. It is written, “…For the Lord is the God of knowledge; and by Him actions are weighed.” (1 Samuel 2:3) Action was the faith of a paralytic man that was carried by four men tearing through the roof to seek Jesus. Mark 2:5 recorded Jesus’ response, “When Jesus saw their faith, He said to the paralytic, “Son, your sins are forgiven you.” Jesus saw the paralytic man and he was healed. Without doubt, without faith God is not pleased but with faith, God is pleased.
Find God by seeking Him sacrificially and please Him in His way but not in your way.

Prayer for today: Ask for the grace of seeking God continually.

DESIRE LOVE FOR GOD

FAITH CAPSULE: Desire for loving God, and search God diligently.

1 John 4

Loving God is a must to live for God. Do you have desire to love God? Desire to love God is to have the love of God deposited in your Heart. God sees all hearts under heaven.
Obeying God fully is inhabited in loving God indeed and in truth. God did not design loving one another for man to be foolish but for man to demonstrate man’s love for God. Word of God for us to love Him also speaks out what not to love. It is written, “Do not love the world or the things in the world. If anyone loves the world, the love of the Father is not in him.  For all that is in the world—the lust of the flesh, the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life—is not of the Father but is of the world.  And the world is passing away, and the lust of it; but he who does the will of God abides forever.” (1John 2:15-17)
Evidently, man that is not in the word of God is in the world living the world. One that is in the world belongs to the world. Are you the world by way of living? Are you a friend of the world? Living as the world or taking a position as the world is taking a position as the enemy of God. The book of James 4:4 stated, Adulterers and adulteresses! Do you not know that friendship with the world is enmity with God? Whoever therefore wants to be a friend of the world makes himself an enemy of God.” The world is not a position where loving one another as commanded by God because the system of the world aligns with Satan and opposes God and Jesus. True believer of God should not love false god’s society(culture) and false values (morals) of this wicked world.
Loving one another is the evidence of one is loving God. Without doubt, not to love God is to be placed under curse as stated in 1 Corinthians 16:22, “If anyone does not love the Lord Jesus Christ, let him be accursed. O Lord, come!” Will you desire to love God? With determination, Peter denied Christ. (Mark 14:31) With determination to love God is a failure possibility. With prayer for heart’s direction into the love of God is possible. It was prayer that answered in Peter’s life not to become a victim of failure for his denial of Christ. Pray to love God by loving one another as stated in 2Thessalonian 3:5, “Now may the Lord direct your hearts into the love of God and into the patience of Christ.”
Loving God as commanded by God is way to live for the glory of God. Meditate within your heart, desire for loving God, and search God diligently. Live life for God!

Prayer for today: Ask God for the grace to love Him according to His word.
