DILIGENTLY SEEK GOD

FAITH CAPSULE: Do not turn away from seeking God diligently.

Exodus 33

Seek God diligently to know Him.
Knowing God is knowing His way.
The way of God is in His word, His presence.
Moses sought God diligently by asking for His way.
Moses requested from God, “Now therefore, I pray if I have found grace in Your sight, show me now Your way, that I may know You and that I may find grace in Your sight. And consider that this nation is our people.” (Exodus 33:13)
God responded to the request of Moses, “My Presence will go with you, and I will give you rest.” (Exodus 33:14)
Diligently seek the way of God.
The word of God is His way; His way is His presence.
He is God whose word does not return to Him void. (Isaiah 55:11)
Turning to the word of God is evidence of obedience and adds blessing with no evil.
Joshua 21:45 testifies of the word of God: Not a word failed of any good thing which the Lord had spoken to the house of Israel. All came to pass.”
Glory be to God!
Awesome God, gracious God.
The word of God will not fail any good thing.
Seek God diligently, and obey His word that delivers the promises of God.
Do not turn away from seeking God diligently.
To turn from God is violating the word of God consciously or unconsciously.
Turning away from the word of God is turning away from His presence. There is no excuse to turn away from God that will prompt painful consequences.
The book of Jonah 1:2-3 records, “Now the word of the Lord came to Jonah the son of Amittai, saying, “Arise, go to Nineveh, that great city, and cry out against it; for their wickedness has come up before Me.” But Jonah arose to flee to Tarshish from the presence of the Lord. He went down to Joppa, and found a ship going to Tarshish; so he paid the fare, and went down into it, to go with them to Tarshish from the presence of the Lord.”
Half obedience is the same as failure to seek God diligently.
In the scriptural verse, the word of God refers to God as His presence. Jonah rose as commanded by God, but his rising was in the opposite direction to the presence of God.
Are you riding in the opposite direction to the word of God?
Know to always turn to the word of God and maintain His presence.
One with an expectation of manifestation in the life journey is the testimony of deliverance and preservation to see through.
It is time to seek God diligently.
Seek God diligently to find God.
Jeremiah states, “And you will seek Me and find Me when you search for Me with all your heart.” (Jeremiah 29:13)
Know to seek God diligently.

Prayer for today:Ask for the spirit of God to enable your obedience to the word of God.

FIND GOD

FAITH CAPSULE: Seeking God diligently is living a life obedient to God.

Genesis 22

Find God by your way of life.
Have the desire, not just determination, to seek God diligently.
Seek God diligently to find God, not to be a victim of evil in this world.
Determination is not enough to live for God, to find Him.
Peter, a disciple of Jesus, was in the case of failure determination.
Jesus informed His disciples that they all would deny Him.
Peter answered to Jesus that even if all stumble, he will not be. (Mark 14:29)
Peter was determined not to deny living for God but to live for God.
Peter failed by denying God.
Mark 14:72 records, “Then Peter called to mind the word that Jesus had said to him, “Before the rooster crows twice, you will deny Me three times. And when he thought about it, he wept.”
With determination rooted in the desire to seek God diligently, such shall find God.
Above all, Jesus prayed for Peter, “But I have prayed for you, that your faith should not fail…” (Luke 22:32)
With prayer, know that God will deposit the desire to seek Him diligently.
Do not live far from God.
God is near, available for all to find Him.
Have the desire to seek God diligently and find Him.
God testifies David as a man after His heart, seeking God to find God.
Psalm 27:14, “One thing I have desired of the Lord, That will I seek…”
Why not have the desire to seek God diligently to find God?
Do you have another to seek besides God?
Psalm 73:25 states, “And there is none upon earth that I desire besides You.”
WHAT DOES IT TAKE TO SEEK GOD DILIGENTLY?
Living obediently to the word of God is seeking God diligently.
It is obeying to be praying before God.
Jeremiah 29:12-14 records, “Then you will call upon Me and go and pray to Me, and I will listen to you.  And you will seek Me and find Me when you search for Me with all your heart. I will be found by you, says the Lord…”
Abraham lived a life of obedience before God.
Abraham seeks God diligently, with all his heart and soul, to find God.
Abraham obediently answered the calling of God to relocate him.
God called Abraham, “Get out of your country, From your family And from your father’s house, To a land that I will show you.” (Genesis 12:1)
Unquestionably, Abraham obeyed the word of God.
God called Abraham for the burnt offering of his only son. (Genesis 22)
Abraham obeyed God.
As Abraham was set for the offering of his son, he found God.
He heard from God, saying, “Do not lay your hand on the lad, or do anything to him; for now, I know that you fear God since you have not withheld your son, your only son, from Me.” (Genesis 22:12)
Abraham sought God obeying the word of God unceasingly.
All are created to exist for the Glory of God. (Revelation 4:11)
Know to seek God diligently.

Prayer for today: Ask that God enable you to live for His glory.

SEEK GOD DILIGENTLY

FAITH CAPSULE: Whatever one desires, God will deposit.

Matthew 7

Seek God diligently by following Jesus!
Jesus was teaching when He stated, “Not everyone who says to Me, ‘Lord, Lord,’ shall enter the kingdom of heaven, but he who does the will of My Father in heaven.” (Matthew 7:21)
Does that sound like you?
Are you one who does not walk before God?
Do you profess Jesus but perfect in wickedness?
Jeremiah talked about the wicked in his statement before God, “Righteous are You, O LORD when I plead with You; yet let me talk with You about Your judgments. Why does the way of the wicked prosper? Why are those happy who deal so treacherously? You have planted them, yes, they have taken root; they grow, yes, they bear fruit. You are near in their mouth but far from their mind.” (Jeremiah 12:1-2)
The wicked ones are near to God in their mouth but far from God in their mind.
Also, lying, deception, and manipulation are their makeup.
The Lord God, the perfect creator, is not a God who takes pleasure in wickedness, nor shall evil dwell with Him. (Psalm 5:4)
Those who carry the identity of the wicked do not follow God.
Jesus specifically requested, “If anyone desires to come after Me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross, and follow Me. For whoever desires to save his life will lose it, but whoever loses his life for My sake will find it.  For what profit is it to a man if he gains the whole world, and loses his own soul? Or what will a man give in exchange for his soul? (Matthew 16:24-26)
Whatever one desires, God will deposit.
Is it your desire to seek God diligently by following Jesus?
Following Jesus is not flowing with the crowd.
Many are flowing with the crowd, but few are following Jesus fully.
To follow Him demands to be steadfast in the walk that is in line with the Word of God by forsaking all for the Kingdom of Heaven.
Anyone who is self-full cannot be word-full.
Following the Word of God is following Jesus steadfastly.
Jesus is the living Word of God that was in the beginning.
John 1:1-3 buttresses, “In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.  He was in the beginning with God.  All things were made through Him, and without Him, nothing was made that was made.”
Why not steadfastly deny yourself, forsake all, and settle for the living Word of God?
Why not take up His cross and follow Him to cross over?
Following is not a one-time or an on-and-off engagement.
Allow this new season to be a new way of walking before God.
Have the desire to seek God diligently.
To seek God diligently is the character of one who finds God.
Proverbs 7:15 testifies, “So I came out to meet you, Diligently to seek your face, And I have found you.”
Seek God diligently!

Prayer for today: Ask that you be enabled to seek God more than in the past.

THIS NEW SEASON

FAITH CAPSULE: Know to seek God diligently.

Proverbs 8

Proverbs 8:17, “I love those who love me, And those who seek me diligently will find me.”
If seeking God to find God is not possible, God would not have asked for seeking Him diligently.
Live life for God, seek Him diligently and find Him.
BE UPGRADED BY SEEKING GOD DILIGENTLY
Seeking God diligently means actively and persistently searching for a relationship with God as in father and child.
Seeking God diligently requires a dedicated effort to understand and follow the teaching of God, and not quit, but constantly striving to draw close to God; effectively, it insinuates an attentive and unwavering intent of God in life.
SEEKING GOD DILIGENTLY MEANS
It means we keep seeking God until we find Him, not resting until we hear from Him in our situation or circumstance.
Doing something diligently means doing it energetically and persistently.
Seeking God diligently means the opposite of the way to seek God.
Seeking God diligently is the effort to keep faith and reliance on God.
To seek God diligently assures spiritual success.
The constant, bold effort, serving the Lord, and obeying His word is seeking God diligently to find God.
God rewards those who diligently seek him. (Hebrews 11:6)
SEEKING GOD DILIGENTLY SHOULD BE A PRIORITY
Priority seeking God diligently is:
Act according to the word of God, and be careful to observe them for this is your wisdom and understanding. (Deuteronomy 4:-5-6)
The character of seeking God diligently will:
Pray for guidance and strength.
Persistent, not to give up when challenges resist.
Find joy and satisfaction doing the work of God.
Such will act without being told what to do at all times.
Focus on what is not distracting to deny finding God.
WHAT DOES IT MEANS TO SEEK GOD DILIGENTLY
Seeking God diligently for His strength and his presence continually!
Among ways to seek God diligently:
Making it a priority to call upon God in prayer and watch.
Know to forsake evil ways and thoughts.
Serve God with whole heart devotion and with a mindful for God.
Let your cares be committed to God.
Keep your tongue from evil.
KNOW TO SEEK GOD DILIGENTLY
To seek God diligently is the labor to find God that demands persistence.
To seek God diligently is the opposite of seeking God not in His way.
One who truly knows God (not to know about) shall have a love for God and seek God diligently.
When one loves to seek God, one will naturally seek Him energetically and perseveringly, expecting to find God.
Seek the Lord diligently and earnestly now so that when challenges come, you will readily receive the answers, victories, and rewards that He reserves only for His faithful ones who seek Him diligently.
Jeremiah 29:13-14 records, “And you will seek Me and find Me when you search for Me with all your heart.  I will be found by you, says the Lord…”

Prayer for today: Ask God to teach and enable you with the strength to seek Him diligently.

STRIVE TO SEEK GOD

FAITH CAPSULE: The fear of God rooted in love for God seeks God diligently.

Deuteronomy 6

John 1:1-3 records, “In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. He was in the beginning with God. 3 All things were made through Him, and without Him, nothing was made that was made.”
The Word of God is the work of God.
Without the Word of God, nothing is made.
The Word of God is His command.
Among the purpose of His command is stated in Deuteronomy 6:1-3, “Now this is the commandment, and these are the statutes and judgments which the LORD your God has commanded to teach you, that you may observe them in the land which you are crossing over to possess, that you may fear the LORD your God…”
The command of God is to instill fear to obey God.
TO FEAR GOD IS TO LOVE GOD.
Fear God to obey Him.
One with the fear of God will gain the understanding of meditating on the Word of God to observe and do accordingly.
Failure to obey God is not to fear Him.
God expects all to love Him.
Deuteronomy 6:5 states, “You shall love the LORD your God with all your heart, with all your soul, and with all your strength.”
Sin and sinning are rooted in disobedience.
Without a doubt, sin came to be through failure to eat one tree out of the trees in the Garden of Eden.
Genesis 2:16-17 records, “…the Lord God commanded the man, saying, “Of every tree of the garden you may freely eat; but of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil you shall not eat, for in the day that you eat of it you shall surely die.”
Adam and Eve engaged in a blatant act of disobedience with no reasonable excuse but a consequence.
Since the time of Adam and Eve, man continues to sin.
God wants all to love Him with all heart, soul, and all strength.
Abraham is an example of one who loved the Lord God and obeyed as was commanded by God.
Obedience to the Word of God is the fear in God, the creator of all.
It takes loving God with all heart to rise and depart to a strange land and not hold back.
At age seventy-five, leaving behind a comfortable environment with no child is evidence of the fear of God and obedience to the command of God.
Word of God testified to the fear of Abraham in Genesis 22:12 “…Do not lay your hand on the lad, or do anything to him; for now, I know that you fear God since you have not withheld your son, your only son, from Me.” (Genesis 22:12)
How are you serving Him with all your love?
True love for God is to have fear for God.
Moving forward from this moment, the fear of God rooted in love for God shall enable one to serve God diligently.

Prayer for today: Ask God so that your heart shall retain to obey the Word of God.
