DO NOT BE IGNORANT

FAITH CAPSULE: Ignorance is not with excuse before God.

2 Samuel 6

Have the desire that the presence of God ride you!
What rides on one will occupy such to excel and live for the glory of God.
The donkey that the Lord Jesus rode to Jerusalem walked in honor, exposed to the glory of God because it was carrying and occupied by the presence of Jesus.
Ask God to ride and occupy you continually, the days He has given you.
Ask that you be enabled to live life to the glory of God and not live a life of waste this year in the name of Jesus.
Ignorance can be a cause living of waste.
Ignorance is not with excuse before God.
Ignorance makes a destitute of a believer.
Ignorance makes a believer do right in a wrong way and does not gain the presence of God.
UZZAH ignorantly put his hand on the ark and was struck by the anger of God.
2 Samuel 6:6-7 records, “And when they came to Nachon’s threshing floor, Uzzah put out his hand to the ark of God and took hold of it, for the oxen stumbled. 7 Then the anger of the Lord was aroused against Uzzah, and God struck him there for his error, and he died there by the ark of God.”
There is no excuse for ignorant violations of God.
Error terminates. (Numbers 4:15 says that no one shall touch holy things of God)
What one thinks is what such asks. (Ephesians 3:20)
Ask that you will not live a life of ignorance that makes destitute (lacking the understanding) of a believer.
Ask that you will not be a victim of error with no excuse that does not provoke the mercy of God.
2 Samuel 6:7 states, “The anger of the Lord was aroused against Uzzah…”
Ask that the error that will arouse the anger of God against you shall not have a place over your life.
Do not live a life of telling lies.
Telling lies in the place of doing right is not of God.
Ananias and Sapphira, his wife, sold a possession.
Ananias kept back part of the proceeds.
His wife also knows about the lying.
Peter said, “Ananias, why has Satan filled your heart to lie to the Holy Spirit and keep back part of the price of the land for yourself?
Ananias had no excuse for doing right in the wrong way to die instantly.
Peter approached Sapphira to find out about the wrong deal.
Acts 5:10 records, “Then immediately she fell down at his feet and breathed her last. And the young men came in and found her dead, and carrying her out, buried her by her husband.”

Prayer for today: Ask that, just like Ananias and Sapphira, telling lies consciously or unconsciously shall not have a place in your life.
Also, ask that you will not live to do the right way in the wrong way.

BE ENCOURAGED!

FAITH CAPSULE: Why not give self to the word of God?

Genesis 19

The word of the Apostle Paul encourages all, “So now, brethren, I commend you to God and to the word of His grace, which is able to build you up and give you an inheritance among all those who are sanctified.” (Acts 20:32)
Why not give self to the word of God?
One who commits to the word of God is bound to live according to the word of God.
There will always be a way out of the wicked for one who is committed to the word of God.
Know that the word of God is for deliverance and preservation for one committed to it.
Commit to the word of God but not the world.
Like the wife of Lot, a lack of commitment to the word of God is the avenue to her self-destruction.
Genesis 19:17 states the word of deliverance for Lot and his wife, “…Escape for your life! Do not look behind you nor stay anywhere in the plain. Escape to the mountains, lest you be destroyed.”
Lot was committed to the word of God, but his wife took to the avenue of self-destruction, evidence of non-commitment to the word of God.
Genesis 19:26 records, “But his wife looked back behind him, and she became a pillar of salt.”
Commitment to the word of God is evidence of obedience.
The consequence of disobedience is destruction.
The word of God encourages prayer.
Ask that the spirit of commitment to the word of God become your way of life.
Ask not to become a victim of despising the word of deliverance as it sounds in your direction.
Pray that the spirit that prompts one to look away from the word of God shall not have a place in your life.
The repetition of the word of God is evidence of emphasis, giving attention to the word of God for the escape of Lot and his wife.
Genesis 19:17 records the need for escape twice for Lot and his wife, “…Escape for your life! Do not look behind you nor stay anywhere in the plain. Escape to the mountains, lest you be destroyed.”
Ask that the direction of God, into the way of the escape, shall continually be activated in your life.
A life of commitment to the word of God demands to live according to the word of God.
Live life by the word of God, become exposed to the mercy of God, and gain and retain His presence.
Numbers 14:18 records, “The Lord is long-suffering and abundant in mercy…”
A man runs out of the mercy of God, but God does not run out of His mercy.
One who does not live by the word of God and expects to gain and retain the presence of God is an error.
The goodness of God is abundant and sufficient but never becomes insufficient for those who live life by His word.

Prayer for today: Ask that you be enabled to live continually according to the word of God to gain and retain His presence.

LIVE FOR GOD Part 2

FAITH CAPSULE: Desire to live according to the word of God.

Daniel 6

Obedience without failure is evidence to live according to the word of God.
One that lives for God does not withhold against the word of God.
Abraham demonstrated the confirmation of his faith that he did not withhold against the command of God for the burnt offering of his only son, Isaac.
Genesis 22:2 records the word of God to Abraham, “Take now your son, your only son Isaac, whom you love, and go to the land of Moriah, and offer him there as a burnt offering on one of the mountains of which I shall tell you.”
Abraham responded to the command of God but did not withhold himself.
Without questioning God, he went further with an attempt to carry out the burnt offering.
The Angel of the Lord called out on Abraham, “Do not lay your hand on the lad, or do anything to him; for now, I know that you fear God, since you have not withheld your son, your only son, from Me.” (Genesis 22:12)
Abraham had faith that was rooted in his fear of God, not to withhold against God.
Abraham lived according to the word of God.
Daniel was a young slave of Judah captured by Nebuchadnezzar.
As a young slave, his name changed to Belteshazzar, but his heart stood for God.
Daniel proposed his heart not to defile himself, the character of living for God.
Daniel 1:8 records, “But Daniel purposed in his heart that he would not defile himself with the portion of the king’s delicacies, nor with the wine which he drank; therefore he requested of the chief of the eunuchs that he might not defile himself.”
God was the first for Daniel, not his life.
Daniel lived a life of prayer.
When he was to die in the den of lions, his life for God stood for him.
Daniel 6:10 records of Daniel, “Now when Daniel knew that the writing was signed, he went home. And in his upper room, with his windows open toward Jerusalem, he knelt down on his knees three times that day and prayed and gave thanks before his God, as was his custom since early days.”
Daniel lived life for God as he excelled to the glory of God.
Be a believer in the word of God.
Know that the word of God is God. (John 1:1)
A choice to lie according to the word of God is the choice of living for God.
As a believer of God who does not owe no one but has given all for all, why not choose to live according to the word of God?
Pray for knowledge and the strength of God to live according to the word of God for His glory.

Prayer for today: Ask that you be enabled to live life for God.

LIVE FOR GOD

FAITH CAPSULE: Desire to live according to the word of God.

Daniel 1

One who lives by the word of God is living according to the word of God.
Joshua 1:8 identifies what it takes to do according to the word of God, record: “This Book of the Law shall not depart from your mouth, but you shall meditate in it day and night, that you may observe to do according to all that is written in it. For then you will make your way prosperous, and then you will have good success.”
Living according to the word of God is the character of obedience.
Obedience to the word of God is the evidence of having the fear of God.
One with the fear of God lives for God.
Ecclesiastes 12:13 encourages all, “Let us hear the conclusion of the whole matter: Fear God and keep His commandments, For this is man’s all.
One who fears God to keep His word lives by the word of God.
It is not determination but the desire and prayer to live according to the word of God.
Every command to live according to the word of God is doable; otherwise, God would not expect all to live according to His word.
Have the desire to live according to the word of God.
All should know that God created all to exist for His glory.
Revelation 4:11 states, “You are worthy, O Lord, To receive glory and honor and power; For You created all things, And by Your will they exist and were created.”
The desire for all should be to live for God.
Live life by the word of God, become exposed to the mercy of God and gain and retain His presence.
Continually live life according to the word of God to gain and retain His presence.
Ask to be enabled to live life by the word of God.
One who lives by the word of God is with the character of looking up to God.
Look up to God alone.
Seeking God is the character of one who cares to look up to God.
God looks upon His children with action and no delay.
Psalm 14:2 testifies, “The Lord looks down from heaven upon the children of men, to see if there are any who understand, who seek God.”
With understanding, look up to God, seeking God diligently to find Him, the character of living for God.
What are you living for besides God?
Remember, God alone oversees the affairs of God.
Make a choice, and turn right to God.
Live according to the word of God.

Prayer for today: Ask that you be enabled to live life for God.

ALL SHOULD KNOW

FAITH CAPSULE: The enemy is in the business of disrupting the flow of any good doing.

Joshua 1

The process of the journey demands the preparation to excel for the glory of God.
In the life journey, the enemy is always on track to deny one, not to arrive at an expected end.
The enemy is stubborn not to give up a wicked agenda.
Devil is the master of wickedness and was stubbornly wicked in his attempt at Jesus.
Jesus, the time of coming out of His forty days of fast, the devil repeatedly tempted Him but failed.
The book of Luke 4:13 records, “Now when the devil had ended every temptation, he departed from Him until an opportune time.”
The devil promised not to give up but will always seek another time to activate its wickedness.
Have you accepted Jesus?
Accepting Christ is not an indication that one is free from experiencing temptation.
Under Heaven, temptation or sin will not go away as long as the devil is around.
The Israelites had the word of God to bring them to the promised land that flows with milk and honey land.
Despite the promise of God in place for the Israelites, there was a warning not to fail.
Leviticus 18:1-5 records, Then the LORD spoke to Moses, saying, “Speak to the children of Israel, and say to them: ‘I am the LORD your God. According to the doings of the land of Egypt, where you dwelt, you shall not do; and according to the doings of the land of Canaan, where I am bringing you, you shall not do; nor shall you walk in their ordinances. You shall observe My judgments and keep My ordinances, to walk in them: I am the LORD your God. You shall therefore keep My statutes and My judgments, which if a man does, he shall live by them: I am the LORD.”
God sees the future.
God pointed out He was bringing the children of Israel out of bondage (Egypt), a land of sin, and taking them to Canaan, a land of opportunity.
One coming out of the land of sin and going into the promise of God is a great grace.
For the Israelites, coming out of Egypt to Canaan is the process and preparation for provision.
The process of the journey is what will prepare everyone for the provision of God.
All should know that the enemy is in the business with disruption of preparation to possess the promise of God.
Adapting to meditating on the word of God, as stated in the book of Joshua chapter eight, is the way of observing the word of God.
Meditate on the word of God day and night to be observing the word of God day and night.

Prayer for today: Ask that the word of God become established in your life for His deliverance and preservation over your life.
