All Your Need

ALL YOUR NEED
Philippians 4:10-19

Apostle Paul stated in Philippians 4:19, “And my God shall supply all your need according to His riches in glory by Christ Jesus.” God is more than capable of supplying all your needs, not some. He alone is the Almighty God and nothing is impossible for Him to do. Paul did not say ‘Your need shall be supplied based on the power and strength in you.’ but he said, according to His riches in glory by Christ Jesus. This is coming from Paul, by virtue of his experience and understanding in Christ Jesus. Very often, the scriptural verse, “My God shall supply all my need…” is often mentioned by believers, but not often meditated on. With meditation the word will become power, and without meditation it is not packed with power. Among the most powerful weapon that was delivered into the hand of Joshua at the time Moses was passing on the leadership of the children of Israel to Joshua, was the understanding of meditation. Moses laid it down for Joshua to pick it up when he said in Joshua 1:8, “This Book of the Law shall not depart from your mouth, but you shall meditate in it day and night, that you may observe to do according to all that is written in it. For then you will make your way prosperous, and then you will have good success.” It is clear that meditation with observation of the word will bring an activation of the promise in the word of God. The word says, “My God shall supply all your need according to His riches in glory by Christ Jesus.” Have you meditated on what the riches in glory by Christ Jesus could be? So many riches can be meditated on; among such were the riches of provision of food in abundance for thousands by Christ Jesus, in a deserted place. Jesus provided food for the multitudes that were with Him till very late, in a deserted place, “When it was evening, His disciples came to Him, saying, “This is a deserted place, and the hour is already late. Send the multitudes away, that they may go into the villages and buy themselves food.”16 But Jesus said to them, “They do not need to go away. You give them something to eat.”(Matthew 14:15-16) With five loaves and two fish, according to His riches in glory, abundant provisions were made for thousands that could have been sent home wanting. This is only one of the many that needs constant meditation whenever the scripture says, “[He] shall supply all my need according to His riches in glory by Christ Jesus” comes up. The word is to be constantly observed when meditating on it so as to bring out the result that is observed in it. God shall supply all your needs according to His riches in glory by Christ Jesus. Meditate, observe, and the word will serve you.

Finding Him

FINDING HIM
2 Chronicles 15:1-7

There is no hour or a set time of the day that determines when and where God can be found. God is not limited by my man’s timing. He is the Almighty God! The Great I Am that I Am! God has never failed and He will never deny Himself neither shall any of His word go back to Him void. As much as He is invisible, He is also near to His children. There is a time when He can be found. The Spirit of God once moved Azariah, the son of Obed, and he spoke to King Asa. “And he went out to meet Asa, and said to him: ‘Hear me, Asa, and all Judah and Benjamin. The LORD is with you while you are with Him. If you seek Him, He will be found by you; but if you forsake Him, He will forsake you.’”(2 Chronicles 15:2) Just as it is indicated in some pages of the Bible, Azariah said to Asa that the presence of God is always available, but His presence can only be found based on the condition of forsaking the wicked way. The condition to find Him is inhabited in seeking Him. Seeking God when He can be found is not just in going to church. Seeking God when He can be found is not just in noise making nor is seeking God when He can be found in how long you have accepted Christ. A man can be conversant with doing all of the above and still not find Him. Seeking God is in not forsaking Him. Forsaking God is living a sinful life; a lifestyle that God cannot accommodate because He is a Holy God. Isaiah 55:6-7, “Seek the Lord while He may be found, call upon Him while He is near. 7 Let the wicked forsake his way, and the righteous man his thoughts; let him return to the LORD, and He will have mercy on him; And to our God, for He will abundantly pardon.” Having His presence always around is not a liberty to finding Him always. Isaiah clearly pointed out that any way that is outside of God’s way is a clear demarcation for God to be found. He does not accommodate wicked ways. Is there any way that seems right to you? Proverbs 14:12, “There is a way that seems right to a man but its end is a way of death.” Forsake the way of death for the way of life is only in Christ Jesus and it is only then that you will find Him. God is Holy and He is not a difficult God except when man makes the choice of going through a difficult avenue where God cannot be found. Are you having challenges finding Him? He is near than it can be imagined if a conscious and deliberate step of not forsaking Him is constantly being taken. Remember, He is gracious and He never runs out of mercy; except you run out of His mercy. God will abundantly pardon all who repent and turn away from their wicked way.

Move Or Be Removed

MOVE OR BE REMOVED
Genesis 12

The possibility of living to the fulfillment of destiny or answering to His divine call is directly rooted in an voluntary or involuntary move from one place to another place, or giving up a conscious or unconscious habit that is not in line with where God has planned you to be. Father Abraham demonstrated this when he had to move before he could answer to God’s plan and purpose for his life. Genesis 11:1, “Now the LORD had said to Abram: “Get out of your country, from your family and from your father’s house, to a land that I will show you.”” Abraham did not hesitate but he responded by moving. Some times the call to move can be a direct or indirect one, but when God is setting you up for a move to the center of your assignment, that He has ordained, it will be clear to you to the point of distinction. Abraham was called to make a move that had no meaning, but had many promises from the Lord. Genesis 12:4, “So Abraham departed as the LORD had spoken to him…” Abraham did not contest with God’s command, neither was there any excuse not to answer. Are you questioning your call to move or be removed? He knows your thoughts, as regard to answering, but there is no choice for you not to answer. Your liking or disliking of the calling will not take away or add to you, but move you in the direction of His calling. God will not call without backing you up; He that calls you will back you up. In answering His call there is no need for comparing how He called to move your neighbor with how He is calling to move you. The plan of God moving Abraham was different from that of Moses, the call of Moses was different from the call to move Lot, and this goes on in all that were moved by His calling throughout the pages of the Bible. In the case of Moses, there was a need for a miracle appearance; he was called while he was leading the flock to the back of the desert, a secluded area, a place of no distractions from attention. Exodus 3:2-3, “And the Angel of the LORD appeared to him in a flame of fire from the midst of a bush. So he looked, and behold, the bush was burning with fire, but the bush was not consumed. 3 Then Moses said, “I will now turn aside and see this great sight, why the bush does not burn.” Moses took a turn from his own side of direction before he could answer to God’s side of direction. Do you know if He is calling to move or remove you? One thing is sure, for those He is calling, He will wait for your answer and not excuse. Man can run from answering, but cannot hide. He will catch up with you. Ask God for the grace of enablement.

Doubting To Pretending

DOUBTING TO PRETENDING
1 Kings 14:1-20

When Jeroboam became the King of Israel, just as the Lord had spoken, he could not maintain his God given position. It is dangerous ground when God places you somewhere and you remove yourself in a way that is not in line with the word of God. God gave His word to Jeroboam, and He performed it when Jeroboam became the king of Israel. Why did Jeroboam give way to doubt and begin to build idol in an attempt to deny his people from going to Jerusalem to worship? Why did he have to be concerned about what was in the heart of his people? Has the Lord planted you in a position that is making you give the way to worrying? Are you concerned about what will happen when you have not yet resumed the assignment that the Lord has placed before you? With unnecessary worrying, doubt will be activated and failure becomes inevitable just like in the life of Jeroboam. If these people go up to offer sacrifices in the house of the LORD at Jerusalem, then the heart of this people will turn back to their lord, Rehoboam king of Judah, and they will kill me and go back to Rehoboam king of Judah. (1Kings 12:27) With the above thought inside of Jeroboam, he went and built something outside of God for his people. Jeroboam’s actions did not settle well for him before God. Doubt is not of God, it is of the devil. Whenever a room is given to the devil, he will undoubtedly attempt to take the whole building. Jeroboam entered into the roller coaster of sin and began sinning because he allowed sin to set his feet into his building. Jeroboam graduated from doubt to disguising. 1 Kings 14:1-2, “At that time Abijah the son of Jeroboam became sick. 2 And Jeroboam said to his wife, “Please arise, and disguise yourself, that they may not recognize you as the wife of Jeroboam, and go to Shiloh. Indeed, Ahijah the prophet is there, who told me that I would be king over this people.” The plot of disguising did not prevail, because God exposed the plot before the prophet. “1 Kijngs 14:6, “And so it was, when Ahijah heard the sound of her footsteps as she came through the door, he said, “Come in, wife of Jeroboam. Why do you pretend to be another person? For I have been sent to you with bad news.”From doubting to disguising and pretending, Jeroboam called for himself a very disastrous curse that terminated his life and all that belonged to him. The trick master, the devil, should never be allowed to take a step or else he will take all available ground. Whatever has started in your life that is not of God, take it to Him prayer for intervention before it terminates your life and all that belongs to you.

Month Of Abiding

MONTH OF ABIDING
Psalm 91

Pray to the One, “Who alone has immortality, dwelling in unapproachable light, whom no man has seen or can see, to whom be honor and everlasting power. Amen.” (1 Timothy 6:16) Go ahead and ask Him because He has given us the grace to ask, seek, and knock He will hear you as long as your prayer is in line with His plan and purpose for your life. God is a prayer answering God. Pray that God will cause you to become a constant dweller in the secret place of His holy name, and that you will abide under His shadow. Psalm 91:1-2, “He who dwells in the secret place of the Most High shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty. 2 I will say of the LORD. “He is my refuge and my fortress; My God, in Him I will trust.”” It will take only one that dwells in the secret of God and abides under His shadow, to testify God as refuge and fortress. As the month advances, continue to ask Him to keep you in his dwelling so you can abide under His shadow. Where or what is the secret place of the Most High God? The secret place of God is no longer a secret to those who know how to spend time in the pages of the Bible by His grace. The secret place is where the infallible living word of God is documented. The secret place of the Lord is in the word of God. Do you care to dwelling in the secret place of the Lord? Today, begin to take up the word of God and spend a sacrificial time. What is the secret?  Psalm 25:14, “The secret of the LORD is with those who fear Him, And He will show them His covenant.” The fear of God is faith in God; the fear of God is to trust in God, knowing that He will not fail you. The fear of God is the boldness and character that makes a winner out of a believer, and the fear of God is what gives believers the upper hand over the forces of the wicked. It is not possible to fear God and fail in every area of life. It is one thing to know about the fear of God; it is another thing to actually know the fear of God. When there is a deliberate and conscious living under the fear of God, then dwelling in the secret place of God becomes true indeed, while abiding under the shadow of the Most High God becomes a lifestyle. The fear of God should not be limited to just the word of mouth, but rooted in the heart. One of the characteristics of those that fear God is: having an eye toward Him. The fear of God is what will determine every step that is to be taken in the new month if you will pray and ask Him to enable you to dwell in the secret place of the Most High God, and to abide in His shadow. He is faithful to His children that call on Him. Call on Him.
