Notable Miracle

NOTABLE MIRACLE< ?xml version='1.0' encoding='utf-8'?>

Acts 4:1-31

The combination of boldness and character is the agent for a notable miracle. After Peter and John had spoken a miracle into the life of the lame man at the temple gate when trouble showed its face. Peter and John were subjected to custody. The Bible recorded that, ÒÉThe priests, the captain of the temple, and the Sadducees came upon them, 2 being greatly disturbed that they taught the people and preached Jesus the resurrection from the dead. (Acts 4:1-2) When you operate in His name, do not expect the cooperation of the enemy. The enemy will stand against you, but you will prevail as long as you refused to compromise your stand in the Lord. The plan and purpose of the enemy was to silence Peter and John, instead Peter and John preached to them what they did not want to hear. While Peter and John were preaching, ÒÉThey saw the boldness of Peter and John, and perceived that they were uneducated and untrained men, they marveled. And they realized that they had been with Jesus. 14 And seeing the man who had been healed standing with them, they could say nothing against it.Ó (Acts 4:13-14) The boldness of Peter and John was so intimidating to the persecutors and attempts made by the persecutors to figure out the source of such boldness, they discovered a character that was making the boldness of Peter and John speak louder. It did not take too long for the persecutors to identify in Peter and John that they had been with Jesus. The character of Jesus was written all over Peter and John because they had spent time eating, walking, sleeping, traveling and learning from the Word. Above all, the evidence (the lame man) was with them. The persecutors testified, ÒÉFor indeed, that a notable miracle has been done through them is evident to all who dwell in Jerusalem, and we cannot deny itÉÓ (Acts 4:16)  Do you have the boldness or are you just a loud person? What about character? Having spent sometime watching ministers preach the word, are you pretending to have character? Man can be deceived, but God cannot. When there is a true combination of boldness and character, the testimonies will follow you everywhere, and notable miracles will be traced to you through Jesus Christ. When Peter and John were eventually let go they did not wonder around, rather they went to their own companies to report their experience. Having reported their experience, they started to pray. Among their prayer points were, ÒNow, Lord, look on their threats, and grant to Your servants that with all boldness they may speak Your word.Ó(Acts4: 29) Boldness comes with character and character without boldness is not complete. A believer that lacks boldness and character needs to look up to God for help. Begin to spend time with the Living Word of God, and your boldness and character will come and no man will deny all the notable miracles that will be coming forth through you in Jesus name.

Troubled Water

TROUBLED WATERMark 6:45-56

 < ?xml version='1.0' encoding='utf-8'?>

Multitudes or crowds represent on lookers, mockers, agents of delay or those that are interested in seeing, but are not positioned to receive. Once in one of JesusÕ journeys with His disciples, Jesus made His disciples to cross over, while turning away the multitude. Mark 6:45, ÒImmediately He made His disciples get into the boat and go before Him to the other side, to Bethsaida, while He sent the multitude away.Ó Jesus sent them away because they were not part of the crossing over team. Also, crossing over is not for everyone that calls Him Lord. Are you part of the multitude or the multitude is part of you? Jesus made the ones that He had called to follow Him, His disciples, to go ahead and cross over in the journey. In the journey of life, there are some crossings that have to come in order to get to the next level of assignment. The cross over journey is not to destroy, but to build you up for the fulfillment of your divine assignment. Jesus knew it was a late hour too. He must have seen the storm in the cross over, yet He made them cross over so He can make them up for His glory. Since the time you gave your life to Jesus, by His grace, have you encountered any troubled water before or you are in the middle of any troubled water? Be of good cheer. He is aware of your present location in the troubled water and He will not forsake you. Jesus will show up at the right time and the troubled water will not overtake you. Jesus wants us to cross over and the way to cross over is very challenging. Noah had his troubled water subsided when the Lord remembered him. Genesis 8:1, ÒThen God remembered Noah, and every living thing, and all the animals that were with him in the ark. And God made a wind to pass over the earth, and the waters subsided.Ó The children of Israel on their way to the Promised Land had their troubled water and they cried to the Lord and the Lord moved through Moses, Ò Then Moses stretched out his hand over the sea; and the LORD caused the sea to go back by a strong east wind all that night, and made the sea into dry land, and the waters were divided.Ó (Exodus 14:21) Go ahead and ask the Lord because He asked us to ask, seek and knock for Him to move on our behalf. He remembered Noah; He caused the sea to give way. Jesus will make you to walk on your troubled water.

Your Honor

< ?xml version='1.0' encoding='utf-8'?>YOUR HONORExodus 14:10-31

ÒYou are worthy, O Lord, to receive glory and honor and power; for You created all things, And by Your will they exist and were created.Ó (Revelation 4:11) Father I ask this day, move on my behalf and gain honor for Yourself over every representation of Pharaoh in my life. The children of Israel received deliverance from the bondage of over four hundred years when God sent Moses to them. You have also received deliverance from every trap of hell when Jesus came to shed His precious blood on the cross. The children of Israel, despite their deliverance, the Pharaoh in their life refused to give up on chasing them because of the hardness of his heart. Pharaoh pursued them by going after them with all of his might while the children of Israel remained trapped between the Red Sea and the chariots of Pharaoh. The king of Egypt, Pharaoh, engaged in this operation because, ÒÉThe Lord had hardened the heart of Pharaoh king of Egypt, and he pursued the children of IsraelÉÓ Since the time that Christ brought you out of Egypt, that representation of Pharaoh in your life has remained forcefully consistent in chasing you. Just like the children of Israel, all the ways out were blocked and it all look like you were finished. Is your case anywhere close to that of the Israelites?  Everywhere you have turned to has been blocked. In the case of the children of Israel they cried out to the Lord and complained, ÒAnd when Pharaoh drew near, the children of Israel lifted their eyes, and behold, the Egyptians marched after them. So they were very afraid, and the children of Israel cried out to the LORD. 11 Then they said to Moses, ÒBecause there were no graves in Egypt, have you taken us away to die in the wilderness? Why have you so dealt with us, to bring us up out of Egypt? 12 Is this not the word that we told you in Egypt, saying, ÔLet us alone that we may serve the EgyptiansÕ? For it would have been better for us to serve the Egyptians than that we should die in the wilderness.Ó (Exodus 14:10-12)  In your own case you do not have to complain, your only choice is to continue and to wait, knowing fully well that the same God yesterday is the same today, tomorrow, and forever. Lift up your voice and cry, but donÕt complain to Him. The name of Jesus is forever powerful and His name will not fail you in your prayer for deliverance, just as He did for the children of Israel. God is a God that is worthy of honor and He will not share His glory with any man. Exodus 14:18, ÒThen the Egyptians shall know that I am the LORD, when I have gained honor for Myself over Pharaoh, his chariots, and his horsemen.Ó Pray today, Father come and gain honor for yourself over the representation of Pharaoh, his chariots, and his horsemen that are in my life.

Expect Your Miracle

EXPECT YOUR MIRACLE          < ?xml version='1.0' encoding='utf-8'?>Acts 3:1-16

Absolutely and definitely nothing is impossible with God. What is it that is representing impossibility in your life? What is it that has kept you stagnated all or most of your life? What is the mountain that refused to move for your breakthrough? If you will believe it and receive it in you that with God nothing is impossible, then God will do the infallible proof in your situation. The only impossibility for your miracle is the possibility that you have been going to church like every other Christian, but you are yet to see your miracle as being there and receive it when is yet to be there. The hand of God will move concerning your situation. As the Lord lives, if you will believe, indeed and in truth you will receive. Acts 3:1-2, ÒNow Peter and John went up together to the temple at the hour of prayer, the ninth hour. 2 And a certain man lame from his motherÕs womb was carried, whom they laid daily at the gate of the temple which is called Beautiful, to ask alms from those who entered the temple.Ó Can you imagine a man lame from the motherÕs womb receiving his healing at the name of Jesus? The same name that is still the same name today, and just as the name worked for the disciples then it has been working for the believers today. How have you been using the name of Jesus? Have you been using His name emotionally or expectantly? The lame man was only asking for alms, he was not expecting, but something to last for a moment because he was in a condition that demonstrates his emotion. Peter and John called him to attention by ÓÉ Fixing eyes on him, with John, Peter said, ÒLook at us.Ó (Acts3: 4) The lame man had been in the same condition since birth, and had remained as a beggar. Your situation has to change; it changed for the lame man when Ò ÉHe gave them his attention, expecting to receive something from them.Ó(Acts 3:5) It is true that where there is expectation there will be a manifestation? What are the expectations that you have? Trust God and He will not fail. Expect Him to get you out of your stagnation, Be rest assured that your current situation or challenges will produce faith that will carry you in the next level of your assignment in Christ Jesus. The lame man leaped for joy when he was able to stand. The lame man also walked with them into the temple as a living testimony to the power of the name of Jesus. As you set eyes on this, your story will change for good in Jesus name, you will leap and stand everywhere you have been crawling. Your stagnation will be turned into motion to the glory of God.

Contunity

CONTUNITY      Daniel 1

 < ?xml version='1.0' encoding='utf-8'?>

Adversity and challenges will produce faith or fear that will make or break you in the race of life. Remember, know your God for who He is, continue to hold on to Him, and He will do it at His appointed time. Continuity is the rule of the race, while a purposeful heart is the official. Imagine Daniel and his three friends, at a young age, held captive at foreign land, yet there are no records of complaints or despising their God. Instead of despising or complaining they did not give up. Continuity was the rule and a purposeful heart was the official. In attempt to build Babylon in them, the king ordered the best of the best for them by making them qualify to be set aside with the kingÕs delicacies. DanielÕs environment was bent in changing Daniel and his three friends, but God, in them, took a stand to disallow the environment from changing them. What about you? Suddenly situations seem to be on your side and you are starting to allow your environment to bring changes and affect your stand in the Lord. Ask God to help you, continue in the Lord with a purposeful heart and you will be like Him when you continue in Him. When Daniel was supposed to resume feeding on the kingÕs delicacies he refused. ÒBut Daniel purposed in his heart that he would not defile himself with the portion of the kingÕs delicacies, nor with the wine which he drank; therefore he requested of the chief of the eunuchs that he might not defile himself. 9 Now God had brought Daniel into the favor and goodwill of the chief of the eunuchs.Ó (Daniel 1:8-9)  Daniel continued in the race with a purposeful heart and he gained the favor of God and the goodwill of the chief eunuchs. Continue with a purposeful heart and you will be like Him, you will become His extension on the face of earth and what cannot touch Him, will not touch you; what cannot happen to Him will not happen to you. Daniel 1:19, ÒThen the king interviewed them, and among them all none was found like Daniel, Hananiah, Mishael, and Azariah; therefore they served before the king.Ó God will never forsake His own, and if you continue in Him you are definitely His own and no one can lay a claim on your life. There is none that walks in line of Him and fall outside of Him. Jesus came and died for us that we may have life. He was persecuted, died on the cross, rose on the third day and lives as king forever. You continue in Him and when all that Jesus went through comes your way, you should never be discouraged nor discontinue in the race of life. Continue in Him and He will get you to where he went to prepare for us.
