Midnight Deliverance

MIDNIGHT DELIVERANCE< ?xml version='1.0' encoding='utf-8'?>

Acts 16:25-40

As dark as it can be during the midnight hour, it has also become the time of great deliverance from every work of the wicked. Deliverance during the darkest hour of the day is an indication of shifting our battle into to the war front of the enemy rather than allowing the enemy to shift the battle to our own front. The children of Israel had been in bondage for over four hundred years without any sign of deliverance in sight. Moses did all that the Lord put in his hand to do for Pharaoh to see and release them in the daytime hours, but God choose the midnight hour to be the hour of their deliverance. Exodus 12:29-31, ÒAnd it came to pass at midnight that the LORD struck all the firstborn in the land of Egypt, from the firstborn of Pharaoh who sat on his throne to the firstborn of the captive who was in the dungeon, and all the firstborn of livestock. 30 So Pharaoh rose in the night, he, all his servants, and all the Egyptians; and there was a great cry in Egypt, for there was not a house where there was not one dead. 31 Then he called for Moses and Aaron by night, and said, ÒRise, go out from among my people, both you and the children of Israel. And go, serve the LORD as you have said.Ó The bondage of over four hundred years ceased at the midnight hour. The God that operated in the Old Testament is the same God that operated in the New Testament. He has not changed since then and even until now; He is the Unchanging Changer. Acts 16:25-26, ÒAnd at midnight Paul and Silas prayed, and sang praises unto God: and the prisoners heard them. 26And suddenly there was a great earthquake, so that the foundations of the prison were shaken: and immediately all the doors were opened, and every one’s bands were loosed.Ó As much as God inhabits the praises of His people, it will be absolutely impossible for any agent of the wicked to succeed in holding down those that know how to praise Him in the darkest hour of confrontations. Paul and Silas prayed and sang in one of their dark hours (midnight) and the Spirit of God came down to loose them from the chains and shackles of the wicked at the decisive hour of wickedness and its operation. In the warfront of the enemy, Paul and Silas did battle by praying and singing with God on their side and they encountered undeniable deliverance. How is your praise worship? Is it a heart-full one or mouth-full praise worship? Only the One who you are rendering your praise worship to sees your heart. He alone will be able to determine if your praise worship is enough for Him to inhabit for your deliverance to break forth. In your sincere praise worship, He will raise you.

Waiting Patiently

WAITING PATIENTLY      < ?xml version='1.0' encoding='utf-8'?>Psalm 40

When barrenness takes its reign in the life of a man without any indication of when to expect a breakthrough, there is then a need for letting God take over.  This requires action on our part by exceedingly waiting with patience. Barrenness can be in any area of life such as financial, fruitlessness, health situations or any other area of life. Waiting on God can be very difficult and challenging especially when it takes longer than expected. God is never in a hurry or in a rush, but He will do what His word says He will do. His words are perfect and proven. He has been doing and He will not stop doing because of you. Have you been waiting for long or have you just started waiting? Wait patiently and He will acknowledge you at the process of time if you will not reposition yourself from waiting on Him. David testified in Psalm 40: 1-2, ÒI waited patiently for the LORD; and He inclined unto me, and heard my cry. 2 He also brought me up out of a horrible pit, out of a miry clay, and set my feet upon a rock, and established my steps. 3 He has put a new song in my mouth- praise to our God; many will see it and fear, and will trust in the LORD.Ó With grace to wait, no pit in hell will keep us grounded and waiting on Him will grant us the grace to walk firmly, without falling, on any ground that we want. Passing through the trial of waiting will no doubt put a new song in our mouth just like Hannah. Hannah going to Shiloh every year despite her barrenness was an example of waiting on God patiently. She did not give up and there was no record of her, despite her pressing need, not going to Shiloh any time. One year, God looked down on her and granted her the fruit of the womb. God will look down on you to raise you up from the pit of barrenness and every representative of horrible pit if you will raise your hand to praise Him. It is the child that raises his or hand that has invited the Lord to raise him or her out of the pits of life. Hannah became the testimony forever with a new song. In DavidÕs thanksgiving, he stated in 2 Samuel 22:34, ÒHe makes my feet like the feet of the deer and sets me on my high places.Ó Waiting on God took David to his high places. Every man has a low place in the journey of life, but waiting on God is what will bring you out and take you to your high places, a place that is above and beyond every agonizing situation that has kept you down. ÒWait on the LORD; be of good courage, and He shall strengthen your heart; wait, I say, on the Lord!Ó (Psalm 27:14)

Ask To See

ASK TO SEE< ?xml version='1.0' encoding='utf-8'?>Jeremiah 1:1-16

Without prayer, absolutely nothing can be done in regard to your desire. It is prayer, not program that will help in lifting your desires up to God for intervention. Calling on God is asking from Him and asking from Him is praying to Him. As a jealous God, He enjoys attention because attention is the antidote for jealousy. This is how He identifies Himself in His command as to how we are to relate with Him, ÒYou shall not bow down to them nor serve them. For I, the LORD your God, am a jealous God, visiting the iniquity of the fathers upon the children to the third and fourth generations of those who hate Me.Ó (Exodus 20:5) Being familiar with the word of God is different from being firm in how we live in His word. Indeed, we know what it takes to approach jealousy, but living up to it is not in place. Today would you consciously call, ask, and pray that God will cause you to begin to see where He wants you to see. This prayer is important in the beginning of a new beginning because it makes the journey to become a focused journey. Also, until you begin to see where God wants you to see, you will not be able to receive what He has in place for carrying out great exploits for His glory. All that Jeremiah needed to resume for his divine assignment that was in place since he was in the motherÕs womb was there, but he needed to see; otherwise he would have missed out. ÒThen the LORD put forth His hand and touched my mouth, and the LORD said to me: ÒBehold, I have put My words in your mouth. 10 See, I have this day set you over the nations and over the Kingdoms, to root out and to pull down, to destroy and to throw down, to build and to plant.Ó (Jeremiah 1:9-10) The Lord put His word in JeremiahÕs mouth but Jeremiah needed an enablement to see what was put in His mouth for him to move in GodÕs purpose and agenda for his life. We have the Word in our hand and we have it in our heart, but seeing it as power to bring about manifestation is what the Lord God is waiting for. Moses did not move in the direction of GodÕs plan for His life until he was able to turn aside and see, ÒThen Moses said, ÒI will now turn aside and see this great sight, why the bush does not burn.Ó 4 So when the LORD saw that he turned aside to look, God called to him from the midst of the bush and said, ÒMoses, Moses!Ó And he said, ÒHere I am.Ó (Exodus 3:3-4) After Moses had turned and saw what was in place for him to move in the direction of GodÕs plan, the story of His life changed forever and for the best to the glory of God. Call, ask, and pray for enablement to begin to see the word as God has said it.

Continue Trusting Him

CONTINUE TRUSTING HIM Habakkuk 3:16-19

 < ?xml version='1.0' encoding='utf-8'?>

If you can see and read this, or this can be read to you, then you owe God all the praise and worship and you should be rejoicing. You cannot praise Him without rejoicing, likewise you cannot rejoice without praising Him. Rejoicing in the Lord is good, and it is the joy of the One that requires our rejoicing in Him. The Joy of the Lord is your strength because it His joy that will give access to the Light, and with Light revelation flows. Ask God to enable you with the spirit of rejoicing in every area of your life. Habakkuk 3:17, ÒThough the fig tree may not blossom, Nor fruit be on the vines; Though the labor of the olive may fail, And the fields yield no food; Though the flock may be cut off from the fold, And there be no herd in the stalls.Ó This does not sound good, and it is not a situation that anyone wants to experience. It is a place in the depth of a valley where there seems to be no way out, and no end in sight as to when the time of rising and climbing out of the depth of valley. There is no one that wants to plant a tree and wants to see it blossomless, neither is it pleasant to have no fruit where the vines should be bringing forth fruit as the crown of labor. When your hard labor seems to be producing a result that matches that of a lazy laborer, when all that needs to be adding to a better result begins to be cut off, and then you know that something is wrong that could be beyond your comprehension. Habakkuk does have a word for you, if you will receive it and live by it, ÒYet I will rejoice in the Lord, I will joy in the God of my salvation.Ó (Habakkuk 3:18) Once again, joy and rejoicing are the only ways to keep in the way of God because it lands you in the presence of God. Jesus was in the midst of the family of Lazarus during the time of their mourning for LazarusÕ passing. As they were lifting their voices in wailing, crying, and gnashing of teeth, the Bible recorded that, ÒÉ Jesus lifted up His eyes and said, ÒFather I thank You that you have heard Me.Ó (John 11:41)  Try thanking Him with a heart full of joy in the face of adversity or challenges, and then wait to see if He will act on your behalf or not. If you will receive all that the Lord has put down in the pages of scripture for our learning, all the miracles that were testified will not escape you. Try God and see that He alone is faithful and true to His word of deliverance and life. If you will continue top trust in Him, He will make you to walk on high places.

Do It Differently

DO IT DIFFERENTLY< ?xml version='1.0' encoding='utf-8'?>1 Samuel 1, Luke 17:11-37

ÒThen as He entered a certain village, there met Him ten men who were lepers, who stood afar off. 13 And they lifted up their voices and said, ÒJesus, Master, have mercy on us!Ó 14 So when He saw them, He said to them, ÒGo, show yourselves to the priests.Ó And so it was that as they went, they were cleansed.Ó (Luke 17: 12-14) It could be that the ten lepers or some of the ten must have missed Jesus in His passing number of times before they decided to do it differently in order to receive their healing. As a leper, law restricted their movement and they could not just flow with the crowd. This could have prompted them to stand afar and call out with loud voices. Until they were loud, they could not become a showcase for His glory. Could it be that it is time for you to do it differently in order to receive your healing miracle? The Psalmist encouraged us in the way he was receiving from Him by saying, ÒI will lift up my eyes to the hills from whence comes my help.Ó (Psalm 121:1) The ten lepers injected their own way of receiving by lifting up voices but not because the Lord is deaf and cannot hear. How have you adapted to calling on Him in every passing moment of the Lord? Just like the lepers seeking miracles, Hannah was also seeking her miracle while going to Shiloh every year. In her going, she must have been quiet to herself in her prayers while enjoying fellowshipping with her husband. One year, however, she did differently when she was provoked of her barrenness by Peninnah, her husbandÕs wife. ÒAnd her rival also provoked her severely, to make her miserable, because the LORD had closed her womb. 7 So it was, year by year, when she went up to the house of the LORD, that she provoked her; therefore she wept and did not eat. (1 Samuel1:7) Instead of the regular fellowshipping that Hannah had always been having in her trip to Shiloh, she did it differently by weeping and not eating. Heaven was provoked on behalf of Hannah and her doing it differently brought forth her miracle. The lepers added to the Psalmist way of doing it when they lifted their voices to gain HeavenÕs attention. Lifting voices could not have been possible until they lifted their eyes and saw Jesus passing. If they had not lifted their eyes, they would not have been able to see the need of lifting their voices. How can you do it differently from the way you have been doing it in order to provoke Heaven for your miracle? Lift eyes, lift voice, cry unto Him, abstain from eating, combine all of the three or add more. It can never be too much and the more you elevate your approach the more it gets to Him. He is a faithful God and He will never turn away from your way of doing it.
