The Truth Is Threatening

THE TRUTH IS THREATENING< ?xml version='1.0' encoding='utf-8'?>Genesis 37

The truth is threatening. It is true that when the truth is told it can be threatening. It is true that Jacob loved Joseph more than his brothers, but the brothers could not handle the truth. ÒBut when his brothers saw that their father loved him more than all his brothers, they hated him and could not speak peaceably to him.Ó (Genesis 37:4) The love of Jacob was the beginning of the hatred towards Joseph by his brothers. When Joseph had a dream about what was going to become of his brothers he was only telling it the way he saw it in his dream, not the way he wanted it, JosephÕs dream was a vision not an intention to take position away from his brothers. JosephÕs dream was about him taking a position where brothers will be bowing to him. After his dream he told his brothers all about the dream and they responded in Genesis 37:8, ÒAnd his brothers said to him, ÒShall you indeed reign over us? Or shall you indeed have dominion over us?Ó So they hated him even more for his dreams and for his words.Ó The word of Joseph to his brothers was not only rejected, but it led to him to be ejected out of the family ground and was sold to a company of Ishmaelites. Truth is threatening and it cannot be contained. Attempts to have the truth covered or eradicated will only last for a period before the truth takes over. Is there any truth that you have a need to share, but the surrounding company or associates are not ready to receive the truth? Ask God for direction but do not apply common sense when you share the truth. A truth that is truth indeed, a truth that is backed up by heaven, will stay. It will come to pass even if the whole world attempts to stand against it. Jesus, our Lord and savior told the truth, He introduced Himself but they could not handle His revelation because the truth is threatening. John 14:6, ÒJesus said to him, ÒI am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me.Ó Jesus lived the example and He was constantly facing opposition. His ways are not our ways, but He has come to lead us into His ways. The truth of the matter is that truth is threatening and they could not handle the life that Jesus lived. How are you responding to the truth that comes your way daily? Also, how are you sharing the truth that you know? If you have not been sharing what you know about the truth it could be that you have not known the truth enough.  ÒThen Jesus said to those Jews who believed Him, ÒIf you abide in My word, you are My disciples indeed. 32 And you shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free.Ó(John 8:31-32) Do not take the truth as a threat, but as your teacher.

What Is The Issue?

WHAT IS THE ISSUE?Mark 5:25-34

 < ?xml version='1.0' encoding='utf-8'?>

The woman with the issue of blood came to Jesus to be delivered from what had been a heavy burden upon her life. She came expecting and she left with manifestation. If she had not come to Jesus, her story would have been just like many in that city that died because of their issue. Jesus was not telling jokes, neither was He sharing fables when He declared in Matthew 11:28, ÒCome to Me, all you who labor and are heavy laden and you will find rest for your souls.Ó What is stopping you from coming today? Yesterday is gone, and the result of yesterday should not be a discouragement for today. Nothing should be a discouragement for the coming today. The woman with the issue of blood by law should not have been near anyone Leviticus 15:19, ÒIf a woman has a discharge, and the discharge from her body is blood, she shall be set apart seven days; and whoever touches her shall be unclean until evening.Ó The law as stated in Leviticus could not prevent her and it could not be counted as an excuse for her to justify herself from her deliverance when she came to Jesus. The Bible recorded that she came from behind. She was desperate for her healing after twelve years; she refused to remain quiet to herself by violating the law with expectation for her healing. The woman with the issue of blood, the man with an issue of lack, the sister with the issue of drowsiness, the brother with the issue of financial difficulties, the couple with the issue of barrenness, the people with issues that are troubling, and all kinds of issue will become terminated when it gets to the Healing healer, the Most High God, the great I Am the I Am. Nothing is too difficult for Him if you will not find it difficult to bring it to Him, regardless of all surrounding circumstances of denial. ÒNow a certain woman had a flow of blood for twelve years, 26 and had suffered many things from many physicians. She had spent all that she had and was no better, but rather grew worse. 27 When she heard about Jesus, she came behind Him in the crowd and touched His garment.Ó (Mark 5:25-27) The woman with issue of blood had suffered enough to give up, but she didnÕt. The Bible said when Òshe heard about JesusÓ she made all the necessary effort to come and reach Him by touching Him. The woman with issue of blood exercised Òagainst all odds faithÓ. You have been hearing about Jesus long enough and only the Lord knows how long exactly, and yet you preferred going about your way with loads of burdens while the issue remains the same. Jesus is the same yesterday, today, and tomorrow. Go and remind Him concerning the work of His hands and He will be provoked to answer you. It is well in Jesus name.

Dail Devotion: Orderliness

ORDERLINESSExodus 14

 < ?xml version='1.0' encoding='utf-8'?>

Orderliness is definitely a great demonstration of responsibilities, while responsibility is the price for greatness. In every way of approaching life in the journey of life, orderliness is like a vehicle of transportation that conveys the passenger to the expected end. For the children of Israel to get to their Promised Land it all started with a need for orderliness to be in place. Orderliness in the way of preparation, orderliness in line with the direction from God, orderliness in the way of confronting challenges. Orderliness has to be written all over your life in order to bring forth a testimony of greatness. Exodus 13:18, ÒSo God led the people around by way of the wilderness of the Red Sea. And the children of Israel went up in orderly ranks out of the land of Egypt.Ó Orderliness extends to every step taken in the journey of life, as it is evident in the exit plan of the children of Israel out of bondage of over four hundred years. In confronting the challenges of life such as the Red Sea of your life that the enemy wants to use in delaying, destroying, and denying you from where God is taking you to, orderliness will have to be in place. God took the children of Israel out of the bondage not to destroy them in the Red Sea but it is the plan of the enemy to make sure that they are destroyed in the Red Sea. Moses had to delivered the message of orderliness that would saw them through the Red Sea ÒAnd Moses said to the people, ÒDo not be afraid, Stand still, and see the salvation of the LORD, which He will accomplish for you today. For the Egyptians whom you see, today, you shall see again no more forever.Ó (Exodus 14:13) The way to cross over is clearly deposited in MosesÕ message and it was said to the Children at the time fear was activated. The saying goes in this order: Do not be afraid that is the first step and it requires for fear to be dismissed and to be cast out. With the elimination of fear there will be the ability to stand still, which means not fretting or shaking concerning the confrontation. Standing still is an established ability to see clearly without spiritual blurriness. The ability to remain standing still will allow seeing through by faith. That is seeing what is not in place as being in place. Seeing by faith is the elimination of fear and it leads to activation of faith. Orderliness will enable you in getting to see your victory, as being there when it is yet to be there. Moses encouraged them to see the Egyptian as not being there any more. By faith, begin to see yourself walking through your Red Sea in Jesus name.

Dail Devotion: God Remembers

GOD REMEMBERS1 Samuel 1

 < ?xml version='1.0' encoding='utf-8'?>

ÒThen God remembered Noah, and every living thing, and all the animals that were with him in the ark. And God Made a wind to pass over the earth, and the waters subsided. Ò (Genesis 8:1) God does not sleep and He will not sleep concerning His children. The fact that He remembered is not a demonstration of a forgetful mind but it is an indication that God moves at His own pace and His timing is better. God will always remember with favor and visits with salvation. God commanded Noah to build an ark of salvation at the time of the flood and when it was time for Noah to land on dry land, He remembered Noah and made a way for him on the dry land. Now it happened in the process of time that the king of Egypt died. Then the children of Israel groaned because of the bondage, and they cried out; and their cry came up to God because of the bondage. 24 So God heard their groaning, and God remembered His covenant with Abraham, with Isaac, and with Jacob. 25 And God looked upon the children of Israel, and God acknowledged them.Ó (Exodus 2:23-25) The children of Israel were in bondage for over four hundred years. Salvation was not activated for the children of Israel until God remembered them. What do you need for God to remember you? God is able to remember you and dry every tear of lack; He is able to remember in moving you forward from every ground of stagnation. Depending on where you are or what you want Him to remember you for, your case might require for you to cry or groan.  God will never forget you. Sarah was barren for a while before God remembered her. Sarah was going to Shiloh yearly with her husband and Peninnah. Sarah did not miss the Shiloh based on any excuse despite her painful area of lack. If you have been waiting on God for long it will not be long for Him to remember you because He is a merciful God and no situation is hidden from God. After many years of going to Shiloh with nothing to show for her going, she encountered favor when Eli the priest at Shiloh prayed the prayer of favor for Sarah. ÒThen they rose early in the morning and worshiped before the LORD, and returned and came to their house at Ramah. And Elkanah knew Hannah his wife, and the LORD remembered her. 20 So it came to pass in the process of time that Hannah conceived and bore a son, and called his name Samuel saying, ÒBecause I have asked for him from the LORD.Ó At the process of time God remembered Sarah. Pray in the name of Jesus and the same God that visited Noah, the children of Israel and Sarah will not forget you; He will remember you with favor and He will visit you with salvation.

Pillow Of Faith

PILLOW OF FAITH< ?xml version='1.0' encoding='utf-8'?>Mark 4: 35-41

ÒOn the same day, when evening had come, He said to them, ÒLet us cross over to the other side.Ó (Mark 4:35) Your crossing over could be anytime of the year at any hour of the day. Are you ready for your time to crossing over? Just in case it comes unannounced, how will you respond? Jesus was taking His disciples on a cross over experience. Jesus knew exactly what had to be disassociated before their crossing over could begin to take place . ÒNow when they had left the multitude, they took Him along in the boat as He was. And other little boats were also with Him.Ó (Mark 4:36) The number one thing that is needed in crossing over is to let go of the multitude. It does not matter how long or how much it will cost; multitude has to step out of your crossing over if you want to get to the desired destination. The multitude is the crowd and they will add unnecessary weight to your vessel. Unnecessary weight is baggage that can weigh your vessel down and not be able to face storms that show up. In this crossing over of Jesus with His disciples, windstorm actually showed up, ÒAnd a great windstorm arose, and the waves beat into the boat, so that it was already filling. 38 But He was in the stern, asleep on a pillow. And they awoke Him and said to Him, ÒTeacher, do You not care that we are perishing?Ó(Mark 4:37) Storms areinevitable and unavoidable if you have been destined to get through in your crossing over. The route of storms are also the route of choice by the devil. However with Jesus in the boat how long will you continue to shake and bake for the fear of storm? How long are you going to be awake and not sleep when you suppose to be sleeping? Have you carried fear into the boat, which Jesus is the captain? There is a need for the Òpillow of faithÓ The Apostle Paul encourage us, ÒImitate me, just acontinue struggling with the storm, why donÕt you do as Paul said by getting for yourself a pillow of Faith just like Jesus did. Jesus knew what would happen before He went along with the disciples and He could have ushered them to go ahead, but He went with them. Disciples s I imitate ChristÓ(1Corinthians 11:1) Instead of you to have walked with Jesus just as we are carrying the Word of God around and yet many are still sleeping without the pillow of faith, many are awake to give themselves to fear. Today, get a pillow of faith, Jesus that is with you will not leave you nor forsake you. Is Jesus with you?
