Dwell And Abide

< ?xml version='1.0' encoding='utf-8'?>

DWELL < ?xml version='1.0' encoding='utf-8'?>AND ABIDE

Isaiah 57:15-21

He who dwells in the secret place of the Most High shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty (Psalm 91:1). Without any doubt, there is no other place where a believer should desire to abide but under the shadow that will not give up; a shadow that will always be constant and consistent and a shadow that will overshadow all forces of the wicked from getting to a believer. In order to abide, there has to be a step into His dwelling place. The key to His dwelling place is a secret but not to a believer who carries the Word for a purpose and not to play church. God is not a liar and what He said He will do has already been done. He mentioned by Himself in the book of Isaiah 57:15, ÒFor thus says the High and Lofty One Who inhabits eternity, whose name is Holy: ÔI dwell in the high and holy place, with him who has a contrite and humble spirit, to revive the spirit of the humble, and to revive the heart of the contrite ones.ÕÓ The high place belongs to the High and Lofty One and it is also the place of believers with a contrite (a repentant) and humble (one whose shoulders are not rising above his head) spirit. Psalm 34:18 also confirms that, Òthe LORD is near to those who have a broken heart, and saves such as have a contrite spiritÓ. This is an awesome promise only by a God whose awesomeness is beyond any manÕs imagination. He is the only God that gives promises that will never fail. Have you, as a believer, thought of entering into His secret place as a dwelling place and not as a passing by place? If you will desire to enter and begin to dwell in His secret place, abiding under His shadow will not elude you. Determination will not help, but it is only by the Spirit of God. If you will begin to desire it, God in His goodness and mercy will deposit it in you.

At His Feet

AT HIS FEET< ?xml version='1.0' encoding='utf-8'?>

Matthew 15:21-31

The best place to look up unto the Lord is at His feet. However, coming to His feet will not be enough if there is no falling down or laying it all at His feet. Great multitudes came to His feet and they received healing because in addition to their coming, they were able to lay it all at His feet. It is written in Matthew 15: 30, ÒThen great multitudes came to Him having with them the lame, blind, mute, maimed, and many others; and they laid them down at JesusÕ feet, and He healed them.Ó Before healing was possible, they came and were able to lay all that had been hibernating in them down at His feet. Also, ÒJarius, one of the rulers of the synagogue came, and when he saw Him, he fell at His feet and begged Him earnestly, saying, ÔMy little daughter lies at the point of death. Come and lay Your hands on her, that she may be healed, and she will liveÕÓ (Mark < ?xml version='1.0' encoding='utf-8'?>5:22-23). Those who were going to His feet were not just spectators or multitudes. When they went to His feet, they constantly demonstrated expectation for manifestation by laying it all or falling down in worship. You have been going every where that is named in the Name of God and your situation remains unchanged. In your going are you laying it or bagging it to take it back with you? It is one thing to come and not to lay it down. It is another thing to come and lay it down before Him. Whenever all is laid down at His feet, it will be laid to rest and when you fall down at His feet; your concern will not rise with you again. In your going or coming to Him, let expectation begin to reign because it is a demonstration of faith and God is not pleased without faith (Hebrew 11:6). In your going to His feet, begin to lay it down at His feet.

Fear Not

FEAR NOT     < ?xml version='1.0' encoding='utf-8'?>

Exodus 14

Fear not! Have faith and it will cause you to stand still. When there is failure in standing still, you will miss the salvation of God concerning your troubling issue. The children of < ?xml version='1.0' encoding='utf-8'?>Israel were under great threat having been delivered from the bondage of over 400 years. PharaohÕs army was close behind them with all their horses and chariots while the Red Sea was before them. Fear gained strength and Moses came under the sharp word and confession of negativity in the hand of the children of Israel. Moses responded in Exodus 14:13, ÒMoses said to the people, ÔDo not be afraid, stand still, and see the salvation of the LORD, which He will accomplish for you today. For the Egyptians whom you see today, you shall see again no more forever.ÕÓ It is all about trusting in the Lord. Trusting in the Lord is not having fear, but rather having faith in place. In deed and in truth no one knows what you are going through or how long you have been in the same situation. Also, it does not seem like there is light at the end of the tunnel. However, the light that is for you is not just at the end of the tunnel; it is rather right with you in your tunnel of challenges. PharaohÕs army, horses and chariots could not survive the confronting Red Sea that was before the children of Israel. The Red Sea was opened up for the salvation of the children of Israel as recorded in Exodus 14:22, ÒSo the children of Israel went into the midst of the sea on the dry ground, and the waters were a wall unto them on their right hand and on their left.Ó The children of Israel did not just go through the Red Sea, but they went through it on a dry ground while PharaohÕs army could not survive in their pursuit. All that has taken a stand to deny you will be destroyed and they will not be able to catch up with you. If you will fear not, have faith and stand still, God will see you through.

Breakthrough

BREAKTHROUGH< ?xml version='1.0' encoding='utf-8'?>

2 Kings 5

Joseph, the dreamer, was broken from the most beloved of his father to the un-beloved of his brother. He was broken from pit to slavery and from slavery to prison. A former prime slave became a prime minister in < ?xml version='1.0' encoding='utf-8'?>Egypt. Moses was broken when relegation came to him from palace to desert and from desert to shepherd. Moses later became a giant in GodÕs hand. Naaman, a Syrian army commander, had all it takes to be received with a red carpet when he went seeking for Elisha for healing. Instead, he was approached by a servant of Elisha. Naaman felt insulted because of the no-show of the prophet Elisha himself. He received a further blow when he was instructed by the servant of the prophet that his healing was located in the River Jordan, a river that could not be compared to his homeland river. NaamanÕs pride was broken when the insulted River Jordan resulted to his healing. So many were broken before breakthrough in the Bible and all were meant for the glory of the Almighty God. You love the Lord and your walk has been consistently relevant in the line with GodÕs word. Things have changed overnight; you are down, friends can no longer help, and desertions are showing faces in every where that you turn. You can hardly count on anyone for help and it seems you are the only Christian that is out of place. All that surrounds you is beginning to wonder how long you will go through what you are going through? Complaint, discouragement or self destruction is not what you need. You need to know that God will see you through if you will keep seeing through with the Word of God. God has a plan for you. Isaiah 63:14, ÒAs a beast goes down into the valley, and the spirit of the LORD causes him to rest so You lead your people, to make yourself a glorious name.Ó The point here is that God always wants to be glorified; to make Himself a glorious name. When your breakthrough arrives, He will be gloriously glorified concerning your life. Job is a testimony. God will see you through. You are not alone.

Only Fear Him

ONLY FEAR HIM< ?xml version='1.0' encoding='utf-8'?>

1 Samuel 13

ONLY FEAR HIM

1 Samuel 13

Ecclesiastes concluded by letting it be known to the creations of GodÕs hand that the fear of God and keeping His commandments is all that man needs (Ecclesiastes 12:13). The Psalmist also pointed out that the fear of God is the beginning of wisdom (Psalm 111:10). Samuel spelled out clearly in 1 Samuel 12:24, ÒOnly fear the LORD and serve Him in truth with all your heart; for consider what great things He has done for you.Ó When there is fear of God in place, there will be every reason to serve Him in truth with the whole heart. Any believer that is serving God with a serious consideration of all the great work the Lord has done will ride on the understanding of the truth that indeed there is nothing God cannot do. A believer that is operating with the mindset of what God has done will undoubtedly be provoking the hand of God for what God can and will do concerning that believerÕs situation. The fear of God will cause a believer to know that waiting on God is the rule for getting through to gain from God. The fear of God is what will cause a believer to appreciate God more as the only sustainer of man. The constant fear of God will constantly disallow a man from getting into complaining for what is not or what it is at hand. To fear God is wisdom and to know in the heart that there is God. Not to fear God is foolishness and to know in the heart that there is no God. It is recorded in Psalm 14:1, ÒThe fool has said in his heart, ÔThere is no GodÕ. They are corrupt, they have abominable works, there is none who does good.ÕÓ Where do you stand? Do you fear Him just in the mouth or do you actually fear Him in your heart? Only fear Him and every issue that is wisdom tackle-able will be responding in your favor. Only fear Him.
