Rahab’S Location

RAHABÕS LOCATION< ?xml version='1.0' encoding='utf-8'?>

Joshua 2, Ruth 4:18-22

Rahab was a prostitute in < ?xml version='1.0' encoding='utf-8'?>Canaan and her story became one of the most inspiring in the Bible because her location places her in the center of her divine assignment. When the spies were sent from Acacia Groove to go and spy on Jericho as preparation for the children of IsraelÕs advance, it was at RahabÕs house that they lodged. When the news of spies within the land got to the King of Jericho, there was an attempt to get hold of the spies, but Rahab came to the rescue. Rahab did not give the spies to the authority that was looking for them, but she rather gave them a safe haven. Joshua 2:15, ÒThen she let them down by a rope through the window, for her house was on the city wall; she dwelt on the wall.Ó RahabÕs house location was the key to her lifeÕs inspiring story. As mentioned in the above verse, she was located on the city wall. Consider yourself as a building, a house or a temple of God, where do you stand? Where can you be located or where are you located? RahabÕs house must have been attractive for the spies because of its closeness to the city wall. What is it about you as a believer that could draw people outside of your belief to you for security, shelter or salvation? Rahab, because of the physical location of her house, ended up in the center of her assignment for GodÕs promise to come to manifestation. Rahab, a prostitute, lived at the city wall, embraced, cared and protected the plans and promise of God that came through her way and she became a mother in line of Jesus Christ. God used a prostitute and the same God of yesterday can use you today if you are in location for the move of His plan. He is not a partial God, but a merciful God. Ask Him today for His divine placement for your life in the Name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth.

Commanding Commander

COMMANDING COMMANDER< ?xml version='1.0' encoding='utf-8'?>

Joshua 1

After MosesÕ assignment and his death, a new leader in Joshua was unfolded. Joshua needed to fit into big shoes. Without GodÕs intervention, there would have been no way for Joshua to step into Moses shoes. Joshua 1:1, ÒAfter the death of Moses the servant of the LORD, it came to pass that the LORD spoke to Joshua the son of Nun, MosesÕ assistant, saying: 2 ÔMoses My servant is dead. Now therefore, arise, go over this Jordan, you and all this people, to the land which I am giving to themÑthe children of < ?xml version='1.0' encoding='utf-8'?>Israel. 3 Every place that the sole of your foot will tread upon I have given you, as I said to Moses.ÕÓ Before any move, Joshua heard from God. The Word of God that came to Joshua was a word of command to move forward and to be encouraged. It is impossible to hear from the Commanding commander and not become a commander. Joshua 1:10, ÒThen Joshua commanded the officers of the people, saying, 11 ÒPass through the camp and command the people, saying, ÔPrepare provisions for yourselves, for within three days you will cross over this Jordan, to go in to possess the land which the LORD your God is giving you to possess.ÕÓ Right after Joshua heard from the Commanding Commander, he himself became commander of the people of God. Is there anything that is denying you from hearing His command concerning your new assignment as husband, wife, or as the new director in your place of work? Hearing from God for every turn or in every direction is what will make a difference in how you proceed from where you are into where He is taking you. Ask God to take the place of the Commanding commander of your life. It is impossible to receive a command from Him and not become a commander. Ask God for His command to sound in your direction. God is a faithful God and His command will never fail you except that you fail to take to His command.

To Love

TO LOVE

1John < ?xml version='1.0' encoding='utf-8'?>3:13-24, 4< ?xml version='1.0' encoding='utf-8'?>

Ask God to make you what it will take for you not to miss the calling that He has placed upon your life and to live to the fulfillment of your destiny.  We are the clay and He is the Potter. Isaiah 64:8, ÒBut now, O Lord, You are our Father; we are the clay, and You our potter; and all we are the work of your hand.Ó As one that has accepted Jesus as the Lord and Savior, it might be challenging to be able to identify why or what we need Him to make us for. Among an area that is certainly needed to request for is the area to love one another. Paul prayed it in 1Thessalonians 3:12-13, ÒAnd may the Lord make you increase and abound in love to one another and to all, just as we do to you, 13 so that He may establish your hearts blameless in holiness before our God and Father at the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ with all His saints.Ó The prayer of Paul is pointing out that it is not until we increase and abound in love to one another and to all that our hearts will be established blameless in holiness before God. In this journey of life, not to love is absence from God. Also, it could be impossible to be right with God if we are not right with man. If we fail in loving each other, the chances of loving God who made man in His own image could be impossible. PaulÕs prayer is a serious prayer that needs to be taken to the heart. Love is what fulfills the whole law of God and John mentioned in   1John 4:8, ÒHe who does not love does not know God, for God is love.Ó As a believer, is there any suggestion of short cut to get to Him by not forgiving and moving forward in love with those who fault you? This is what Peter has to say to me and you in 1Peter 4:8, ÒAnd above all things have fervent love for one another, for Òlove will cover a multitude of sins.Ó  Ask Him to make you because determination to make yourself will not prevail.

Wheat Or Tare

WHEAT OR TARE< ?xml version='1.0' encoding='utf-8'?>

Matthew 13:24-30

As a matter of fact, growing in all areas of life has never been your problem. Physically you are growing as well as financially; you do not have problem in the area of growth. Spiritually you constantly appear in the church and to the brethren around you as a growing believer. What else? All is well with you and to those that see you very often all is well. However, there is only One that sees it all and He knows right from the wrong. Nothing can hide from His face. He is the only One that inhabits eternity. Every man and woman knows themselves. Each and everyone know where they stand when it comes to their walk in the Lord. Man can be deceived; woman can be made to embrace lies; but God cannot be fooled. The bottom line of it all is that Jesus talked about this in Matthew 13:30, ÒLet both grow together until the harvest and at the time of harvest I will say to the reapers, ÔFirst gather together the tares and bind them in bundles to burn them, but gather the wheat into my barn.ÕÓ Where do you stand? Are you a representative of wheat or tare? At every time of rainfall and all that add up to growth, both wheat and tares are enjoying it and most times there is no clear distinction identifying tares from wheat. The harvest time is coming. It will be here, and it does not matter how long or how soon it takes to come. All that will make the difference is for you to be faithful in doing the will of the Father just like Jesus said, ÒNot every man who says to Me, Lord, Lord shall enter the < ?xml version='1.0' encoding='utf-8'?>Kingdom of Heaven, but he who does the will of My Father in heavenÓ. Will you be willing to step out only unto God? Ask Him to direct you into His way.

Humility

HUMILITY< ?xml version='1.0' encoding='utf-8'?>

Isaiah 57

Jesus was giving instruction about humility when He said in Matthew 18:3, ÒAssuredly, I say to you, unless you are converted and become as little children, you will by no means enter the kingdom of heaven.Ó Jesus meant what He said and what He said is not meaningful until it is constantly being maintained in the life of every man or woman who wants to enter into the Kingdom of heaven. The Word of God testifies that there is a place for the humble ones and the place is in living heaven on earth. When a garment of humility is evident in the life of a man, it becomes impossible to fall for the forces of the wicked. With humility, it is possible to enter and dwell on a ground where seeing every move of the wicked is activated before it takes effect against the humble. The Word of God cannot lie and when God says it, He means it. This is what you should hear in what God said concerning the humble: Isaiah 57:15, ÒFor thus says the High and Lofty One who inhabits eternity, whose name is Holy: ÒI dwell in the high and holy place, with him who has a contrite and humble spirit, to revive the spirit of the humble, and to revive the heart of the contrite ones.Ó Did you hear it from God in the Word of His mouth as recorded in the book Isaiah? His Word is to be taken seriously for it to work effectively for the hearer. His Word is true and it will never fail. Furthermore, it is what you hear that will be come of you. God said, ÒHe dwells in the high and holy place, with him who has a contrite and humble spirit.Ó A contrite heart and humble spirit goes together and it is impossible to have a contrite heart and not be humble. Likewise, you cannot have a humble spirit and not have a contrite heart. God said with a humble spirit and contrite heart you dwell in His place either on earth or in heaven. Determination will not help; it will fail. Today, ask Him to place upon you a garment of humility; a humble spirit. Enter and dwell in His presence.
