Which Account

WHICH ACCOUNT?< ?xml version='1.0' encoding='utf-8'?>

Numbers 20:7-13

Moses, a giant in the hand of God, a man of great exploit by virtue of GodÕs calling, missed the promise land on the account of the children of < ?xml version='1.0' encoding='utf-8'?>Israel. To man, Moses did all that was enough to get him through to the promise land. To God, he missed it on the account of the children of Israel. When the children of Israel began to thirst in the course of their journey through the wilderness, God commanded Moses to speak to the rock. Moses, however, struck the rock with his rod. MosesÕ action was regarded as an act of not believing God. Numbers 20:12, ÒThen the LORD spoke to Moses and Aaron, ÒBecause you did not believe Me, to hallow Me in the eyes of the children of Israel, therefore you shall not bring this assembly into the land which I have given them.Ó Moses was reacting to the rebellious way of water demand by the children of Israel; he was trying to play God instead of placing GodÕs command before the children of Israel. He continued to ask God for mercy that would let him get to the promise land but all was in vain when he asked in Deuteronomy 3:26, ÒBut the LORD was angry with me on your account, and would not listen to me. So the LORD said to me: ÔEnough of that! Speak no more to Me of this matter.Ó Moses did not miss out on his own account but on the account of the children of Israel. On whose account are you going to miss your expected end? Is it going to be on the account of your husband, wife, children, friend, or family member? It is not worth it to miss the expected end on anyoneÕs account. Also, it is not GodÕs design for you to miss on anyoneÕs account. Take a serious note that, if Moses could miss it, no one is free from temptation. Ask God for enablement that will keep you from being terminated based on anyoneÕs account.

Be Released

BE RELEASED< ?xml version='1.0' encoding='utf-8'?>

Luke 19:28-36

Whenever there is a tied down, there will be a stagnation and motion is definitely absent. Without motion, becoming a vehicle of service is impossible. This applies to every moveable or moving object including man. Jesus was to ride into < ?xml version='1.0' encoding='utf-8'?>Jerusalem and the vehicle of service was somewhere tied down. A colt on which no one had ever sat on was the vehicle that was to take Jesus on His glorious ride into Jerusalem. Jesus sent His disciples in Luke 19: 30-31, Òsaying, ÔGo into the village opposite you, where as you enter you will find a colt tied, on which no one has ever sat. Loose it and bring it here. 31 And if anyone asks you, Why are you loosing it? Thus you shall say to him, Because the Lord has need of it.ÕÓ  Just as He sent them, so it was. The Word that Jesus gave was a word of deliverance for the colt to be able to fulfill his divine schedule. The colt was released and the glory and honor that was rendered to Jesus during His ride became part of the colt. As a believer, do you have an idea where the Lord has a need for your service? Can you identify if you have been tied down from moving forward in your service unto the Lord? Just at the Word of Jesus, the colt was loosed. Luke 19:34-36, ÒAnd they said, ÔThe Lord has need of him.Õ 35 Then they brought him to Jesus. And they threw their own clothes on the colt, and they set Jesus on him. 36 And as He went, many spread their clothes on the road.Ó He has a need for our service and He has made a provision for us to enter into serving Him. Ask God today for the word of deliverance and the word of release to sound in your direction so you would be enabled in your service unto Him.

Way To Go

WAY TO GO< ?xml version='1.0' encoding='utf-8'?>

Proverbs 16

Hannah, in her prophetic prayer, mentioned that the Lord is the God of knowledge and by Him actions are weighed (1Samuel 2:3). This is also to say that God cannot be deceived. He cannot be mocked and He sees from where we are coming from and to where we are going. Which way are you taking? Any way outside the way of God is a way into self- destruction. God has His way and His ways are in His word; they are written in the pages of the Bible. It has not been documented of anyone that has taken to the way of God and ended up in destruction. It has been documented and it is evident that all who has taken to their own way ended up in destruction. When there is a will or desire to walk in His way, He will guide your feet to walk in His way. I Samuel 2:9, ÒHe will guard the feet of His saints, but the wicked shall be silent in darkness. For by strength no man shall prevail.Ó Walking in His way is not by determination; it is only by His grace. Have you considered which way you have been taking recently? The ways you have taken in the past will not matter compared to the ways you are taking now. Take to the way of God and God will take you beyond your expectation. He is a faithful God. A time of self- examination is not a time of self-deception. If you are as a believer deceiving all that surrounds you, God cannot be deceived and such a believer knows that he cannot deceive self. Proverbs 16: 2, ÒAll the ways of a man are pure in his own eyes, But the LORD weighs the spirits.Ó Will you be sincere with yourself and let God redirect your steps into His way? God wants to be pleased with how we walk in the way. Proverbs 16:7, ÒWhen a manÕs ways please the LORD, He makes even his enemies to be at peace with him.Ó The Lord God has given us His word and it is left for us to encourage ourselves in the word of God. Encouragement is a take-able force. God will grant the grace to take it. Go in the way of God.

The Name

THE NAME< ?xml version='1.0' encoding='utf-8'?>

Exodus 6:1-8

In GodÕs direction that was given to Moses for Pharaoh to release of the children of < ?xml version='1.0' encoding='utf-8'?>Israel out of bondage, God also gave power to Moses. The power that was given to Moses was the name of God, the LORD. Exodus 6:2-3, ÒAnd God spoke to Moses and said to him: ÒI am the LORD. 3 I appeared to Abraham, to Isaac, and to Jacob, as God Almighty, but by My name LORD I was not known to them.Ó The name worked. In the end, the children of Israel came out of the bondage of over four hundred years. Pharaoh, an agent of the devil, put up all opposition in his attempt to disapprove the effectiveness and the power that is in the name of God. Moses, sent of God, moved at the word of God to make the name of the Lord God become approved to all generations. Can you think of any other name that is above the name of the Lord God? It has not been documented by anyone that the name of the Lord God is a failure. The same name yesterday is still the same name today and tomorrow and it has not stop working miracles. The name of God will not fail you if you do not fail to wait for Him to move on your behalf. It can be seen across the pages of the Scriptures what the name of God has done. By virtue of evidences, it is clear what the name of God is doing and it is a testimony to what the name of God will do. Can you think of where to run or hide? In this world, there is no hiding place that is safe except in the name of the Lord. Proverbs 18:10, ÒThe name of the LORD is a strong tower; the righteous run to it and are safe.Ó  If you have Christ, your righteousness is in Christ Jesus. Take the name of the Lord as your shelter and He will cover you.

Right Choice

RIGHT CHOICE< ?xml version='1.0' encoding='utf-8'?>

John 16

In all His messages, there is life and power to anyone that makes his or her choice in the word Jesus gave. All through His ministry on the face of this earth, there was no better way for Him to communicate His message of peace and hope than to continue to say it the ways He did. When you begin to hear, hearing will then bring forth faith. Romans 10:17, ÒSo then faith comes by hearing and hearing by the word of God.Ó Jesus said it in plain word and He also said it parables. Above all, He said it in demonstration of power; undeniable miracles after miracles. Despite all His means of communication, not all received His message. This is why peace and hope is having no proper place in the life of man including most that claim to have received and accepted Him as the Lord and Savior. You do not, however, go by what the world goes by, but you go by what the Word says to you. In John 16:33, Jesus said Òthese things I have spoken to you, that in Me you may have peace, in the world you will have tribulation; but be of good cheer, I have overcome the worldÓ What He said to one, He has said it to all. How have you received His word? You as an individual do have the choice of peace in Him if you choose Him, That is why He said you may have peace. Tribulation is a certainty and that is why He said you will have tribulation in this world. In this world, tribulation will come not only to unbelievers but to all. There is a way out of tribulation and the way is to choose Him and encounter that tribulation with peace or you can rather please yourself and the enemy in tribulation without Him. If you have confessed Christ and your lifestyle do not demonstrate Christ, you are living in self-denial. Is there any doubt about your relationship with Christ? Today is the day of your reckoning; make adjustments where there is a need. Proverbs 12:21, ÒNo grave trouble will overtake the righteous, but the wicked shall be filled with evil.Ó The days we are now living are days of trouble. Trouble and tribulation will come, but because you have chosen Him, you are bound to overcome because your righteousness is in Christ Jesus.
