{"id":10154,"date":"2022-10-10T02:00:00","date_gmt":"2022-10-10T02:00:00","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/faithprescription.com\/?p=10154"},"modified":"2022-10-04T02:58:29","modified_gmt":"2022-10-04T02:58:29","slug":"thanks-and-praise-god","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/faithprescription.com\/?p=10154","title":{"rendered":"THANKS, AND PRAISE GOD"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p><strong>\u00a0FAITH CAPSULE:<\/strong>\u00a0Give meaningful thanks and praise to God.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><em><strong>Psalm 92<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Thanking and praising God is not a thinking engagement.\u00a0<br \/>Give thanks to God in every moment of engagement.\u00a0<br \/>Giving thanks and praising God cannot be separated and carries weight to glorifying God.<br \/><em><strong>Psalm 92:1, \u201cIt is good to give thanks to the LORD, and to sing praises to Your name\u2026\u201d<\/strong><\/em>\u00a0<br \/>Are you thinking of thanks instead of giving thanks?\u00a0<br \/>With understanding, giving thanks to God is the key for all things to work together for good.\u00a0<br \/>Give well-meaning thanks and praise to God, not thinking thanks and praise.\u00a0<br \/>The Psalmist buttresses praising with understanding,\u00a0<em><strong>\u201cFor God is the king of all the earth; sing praises with understanding.\u201d (Psalm 47:7)\u00a0<\/strong><\/em>\u00a0<br \/>When understanding backs up conviction, it delivers an undeniable miracle.\u00a0<br \/>Know that when thanking and praising God without understanding, it becomes empty emotion.<br \/>Thanking and praising God is always an act of declaring the goodness of God.<br \/>The Psalmist buttresses,\u00a0<em><strong>\u201cIt is good to give thanks to the LORD, and to sing praises to Your name, O Most High. To declare Your lovingkindness in the morning, And Your faithfulness every night.\u201d (Psalm 92:2)<\/strong><\/em>\u00a0<br \/>Giving thanks and praising God is not limited to the guidelines of anyone to provoke the move of God.<br \/>\u00a0<em><strong>Psalm 92:3<\/strong><\/em>\u00a0identifies a way of giving thanks:\u00a0<em><strong>\u201cOn an instrument of ten strings, On the lute, And on the harp, With harmonious sound.\u201d\u00a0<\/strong><\/em><br \/>King David also demonstrates giving thanks and praise by leaping and whirling before the Lord.\u00a0<em><strong>(2 Samuel 6:16)<\/strong><\/em>\u00a0<br \/>Thanking and praising God can be like King David\u2019s dance before God.\u00a0<br \/>It is never too much to be giving God ceaseless thanks and praise.\u00a0<br \/>The Psalmist declares why all should thank and praise God:\u00a0<em><strong>\u201cFor You, LORD, have made me glad through Your work; I will triumph in the works of Your hands. O LORD, how great are Your works! Your thoughts are very deep.\u201d<\/strong><\/em>\u00a0<em><strong>(Psalm 92:4-5)<\/strong><\/em>\u00a0<br \/>God is worthy of thanks and praise worship to declare His work.<br \/>Giving thanks and praise is also evidence of giving God attention due to Him.\u00a0<br \/>Volumes and pages of books will never be enough to identify the goodness of God.\u00a0<br \/>Giving thanks and praise will gain the attention of God.\u00a0<br \/>God inhabits the praises of His people.<br \/>Give thanks and praise to God for all He has done.<br \/>Give thanks for all things.<br \/>Give thanks for all He is doing and for all expected from Him.\u00a0<br \/>Are you expecting God to move concerning your expectation?<br \/>Jesus believed God to bring Lazarus back to life from death.\u00a0<br \/>Jesus did not wait for Lazarus to rise before He gave thanks to God for Lazarus to rise from the dead.<br \/><em><strong>John 11:41-42<\/strong><\/em>\u00a0records,\u00a0<em><strong>\u201cThen they took away the stone from the place where the dead man was lying. And Jesus lifted up His eyes and said, \u2018Father, I thank You that You have heard Me. And I know that You always hear Me\u201d\u00a0\u00a0<\/strong><\/em><br \/>Your Lazarus will rise.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Prayer for today:<\/strong>&nbsp;<em>Ask to be giving thanks and praise to God.<\/em><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>\u00a0FAITH CAPSULE:\u00a0Give meaningful thanks and praise to God.
