{"id":10383,"date":"2023-01-17T19:35:30","date_gmt":"2023-01-17T19:35:30","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/faithprescription.com\/?p=10383"},"modified":"2023-01-17T19:35:30","modified_gmt":"2023-01-17T19:35:30","slug":"keep-thanking-him","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/faithprescription.com\/?p=10383","title":{"rendered":"KEEP THANKING HIM"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p><strong>FAITH CAPSULE:<\/strong>\u00a0Be persistent in thanking God, that does not resist answering you.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><em><strong>Matthew 15:21-28<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Jesus was on His mission journey to the region of Tyre and Sidon when a woman of Canaan came and cried out to Him.\u00a0<br \/>Have you been crying to Him all year long?\u00a0<br \/>The woman cried for mercy,\u00a0<em><strong>\u201cHave mercy on me, O Lord, Son of David! My daughter is severely demon-possessed.\u201d (Matthew 15: 22)<\/strong><\/em><br \/>All kinds of crying do not miss before God, but the crying one must know to wait for His response.\u00a0<br \/>In the scene of this woman of Canaan, the response of Jesus testifies to the truth that God hears every time, but only answers come at His appointed time.\u00a0<br \/>As regards the case of the woman of Canaan, the Bible records the response of Jesus,\u00a0<em><strong>\u201cBut He answered her not a word. And His disciples came and urged Him, saying, \u201cSend her away, for she cries out after us.\u201d (Matthew 15:23)<\/strong><\/em>\u00a0<br \/>Jesus did not answer the woman at the expected time of her asking because of her limited knowledge of Jesus.<br \/>The timing of God is not the timing of man.\u00a0<br \/>The disciples could not wait but quickly requested her to be sent away.<br \/>God is a compassionate Father that will never ignore any of His children.\u00a0<br \/>Have you been praying before God, and the calling on God seems to be delayed by your timing?<br \/>Do not assume on your delay for an answer with the sacrifice of thanksgiving turn to God.\u00a0<br \/>Giving thanks in the face of pending needs is declaring the faithfulness of God.\u00a0<br \/>Giving thanks is also evidence of understanding that all things pass through God.\u00a0<br \/>Without a doubt, what passes through God will come out good.\u00a0<br \/>Give thanks to God always.<br \/><em><strong>Romans 8:28<\/strong>\u00a0<\/em>buttress,<em><strong>\u00a0\u201cAnd we know that all things work together for good to those who love God, to those who are called according to His purpose.\u201d<\/strong><\/em><br \/>The Word of God records the reason for thanksgiving for all things.<br \/><em><strong>Ephesians 5:20\u00a0<\/strong><\/em>records,<em><strong>\u00a0\u201cGiving thanks always for all things to God the Father in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, submitting to one another in the fear of God.\u201d<\/strong><\/em>\u00a0<br \/>One that knows to give thanks will experience all things working together for good on their behalf.\u00a0<br \/>In challenging situations, all should know to give thanks for all things and in all things.\u00a0<br \/>After a brief silence by Jesus to request of woman of Canaan, He later communicated with her, and the Bible records,\u00a0<em><strong>\u201cThen Jesus answered and said to her, \u201cO woman, great is your faith! Let it be to you as you desire.\u201d And her daughter was healed from that very hour.\u201d (Matthew 15:8)<\/strong><\/em><br \/>Do not give up, be persistent, and He will not resist answering you.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Prayer for today:&nbsp;<\/strong><em>Ask for the understanding to be persistent in giving thanks when waiting on Him.<\/em><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>FAITH CAPSULE:\u00a0Be persistent in thanking God, that does not resist answering you.
