\u00a0FAITH CAPSULE:\u00a0<\/strong>In a challenging time, take a conscious stand of faith and not be afraid.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Psalm 3 <\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

When trouble resists, it becomes challenging trouble.\u00a0
When challenges resist, it is bound to graduate to permanent trouble.\u00a0
Resisting trouble is with force to terminate troubled ones.\u00a0
In a time of challenging trouble, the faith of the troubled one is questionable. David, a man after the heart of God, had increasing trouble saying,\u00a0\u201cLord, how they have increased who trouble me! Many are they who rise up against me. Many are they who say of me, \u201cThere is no help for him in God.\u201d (Psalm 3:1-2,)<\/strong><\/em>
David testifies how he dealt with his increasing trouble.\u00a0
First<\/u>,<\/strong> David acknowledged God for His awesomeness by stating,\u00a0\u201cBut You, O Lord, are a shield for me, my glory and the One who lifts up my head.\u201d (Psalm 3:3)<\/strong><\/em>\u00a0
David did not allow his challenge to the cloud is worship before God.\u00a0
David worshiped instead of worrying when he acknowledged God for what He did and doing in his life.\u00a0
Acknowledging God in a time of troubling challenge is a way of thanking God for provoking His hand of intervention.
Secondly<\/u>,<\/strong> David testifies,\u00a0\u201cI cried to the Lord with my voice, and He heard me from His holy hill.\u201d (Psalm 3:4)\u00a0<\/strong><\/em>
Crying is not a sign of weakness.\u00a0
David did not let pride take charge but cried out loud to God.\u00a0
It was a cry with his voice from the depth of his heart; it was a cry that went out loud to His holy hill.\u00a0
The word of God requests open mouth wide, and God will fill with the request.\u00a0(Psalm 81:10)<\/strong><\/em>\u00a0David testified that the Lord heard him from His holy hill.\u00a0
Thirdly<\/u>\u00a0<\/strong>David mentioned,\u00a0\u201cI lay down and slept; I awoke, for the Lord sustained me.\u201d(Psalm 3:5)<\/strong><\/em>\u00a0
After worshiping in the place of worrying, David slept over his trouble just like Jesus.\u00a0
Once, during the cross-over of Jesus in His journey with His disciples, a troubling storm became a challenge.\u00a0(Mark 4:35-41)<\/strong><\/em>\u00a0
Amid the storm,\u00a0\u201cJesus was in the stern, asleep on a pillow.\u201d (Mark 4:38)<\/strong><\/em>\u00a0
When the disciples could not exercise faith, they woke Jesus up, and Jesus rebuked the storm.\u00a0
With trust in God, David lay and slept despite troubling challenges.\u00a0
David rested his case in the hand of God.
Fourth,<\/u><\/strong>\u00a0David disallowed fear not to have a place in his troubling challenge.\u00a0
He said,\u00a0\u201cI will not be afraid of ten thousand of people who have set themselves against me all around.\u201d (Psalm 3:6)\u00a0<\/strong><\/em>
It is true that when fear rises, faith will sink.
Faith and fear do not tolerate each other believers must eliminate fear. David stood consciously against fear when he declared,\u00a0\u201cI will not be afraid.\u201d<\/strong><\/em>\u00a0
In the face of your troubling challenge, take a conscious stand of faith and not be afraid.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Prayer for today: <\/strong>Ask God to enable you in faith in the place of fear.<\/em><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
