{"id":10708,"date":"2023-06-14T17:19:26","date_gmt":"2023-06-14T17:19:26","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/faithprescription.com\/?p=10708"},"modified":"2023-06-14T17:19:26","modified_gmt":"2023-06-14T17:19:26","slug":"his-promise","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/faithprescription.com\/?p=10708","title":{"rendered":"HIS PROMISE\u00a0"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p><strong>FAITH CAPSULE:\u00a0<\/strong>All should know that God is forever faithful to His promise.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><em><strong>Deuteronomy 1<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>When it was time for the Israelites to possess the promise of God, it was time to move from dwelling at the mountain bottom.\u00a0<br \/>The mountain bottom could be a place of comfort that takes away the sight of potential breakthroughs in life.\u00a0<br \/>The Bible records in\u00a0<em><strong>Deuteronomy 1:6-7, \u201cThe Lord our God spoke to us in Horeb, saying: \u2018You have dwelt long enough at this mountain.\u201d<\/strong><\/em>\u00a0<br \/>One can engage in comfort and not continue the journey to possess fully.\u00a0<br \/>Are you dwelling in the wrong position long enough not to move to pursue and possess the promise of God?<br \/>When God called the Israelites out of the mountain bottom, He called their attention by stating,\u00a0<em><strong>\u201cSee, I have set the land before you; go in and possess the land&#8230;\u201d (Deuteronomy 1:8)<\/strong><\/em>\u00a0<br \/>Possessing what is yet at hand demands faith to see in the place of nothing.\u00a0<br \/>The word of God and His promises are not visible physically until one begins to see it as the truth to go after it.\u00a0<br \/>The truth of God cannot fail to deliver.\u00a0<br \/>Above all, His word does not return to Him void, but the world voids His word, not doing according to the word of God.<br \/>In addition to coming out of the mountain bottom (comfortable dwelling position) and not seeing, there shall be no room for fear and discouragement.\u00a0<br \/>Moses warned about fear and discouragement while emphasizing to the Israelites the need to see and be able to possess in\u00a0<em><strong>Deuteronomy 1:21, \u201cLook, the Lord your God has set the land before you; go up and possess it, as the Lord God of your fathers has spoken to you; do not fear or be discouraged.\u201d\u00a0<\/strong><\/em><br \/>Fear is the opposite of faith.\u00a0<br \/>Fear sinks faith.<br \/>Discouragement denies the ability to see in line with what God has promised.<br \/>Can you consider where you are in the promise of God for your life?\u00a0<br \/>Identify if you are at the mountain bottom or you have engaged in rising to possess.<br \/>Have you allowed fear and discouragement to take over the seat of driving your journey?\u00a0<br \/>All should know that God is forever faithful to His promise.\u00a0<br \/>Do not fail to engage and possess the promise of God.\u00a0 \u00a0<br \/>God called Abraham,<em><strong>\u00a0\u201cTake now your son, your only son Isaac, whom you love, and go to the land of Moriah, and offer him there as a burnt offering on one of the mountains of which I shall tell you.
