{"id":10749,"date":"2023-07-24T22:34:34","date_gmt":"2023-07-24T22:34:34","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/faithprescription.com\/?p=10749"},"modified":"2023-07-24T22:34:34","modified_gmt":"2023-07-24T22:34:34","slug":"fear-god-8","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/faithprescription.com\/?p=10749","title":{"rendered":"FEAR GOD"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p><strong>FAITH CAPSULE:\u00a0<\/strong>The conclusion in the way of life is to fear God.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><em><strong>Psalm 34<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The book of\u00a0<em><strong>Ecclesiastes 12:13\u00a0<\/strong><\/em>documents how to live life,<em><strong>\u00a0\u201cLet us hear the conclusion of the whole matter: Fear God and keep His commandment, for this is man\u2019s all.\u201d<\/strong><\/em>\u00a0<br \/>The conclusion for living is for all to live by the fear of God.<br \/>The understanding needed to live for God is the ability to listen to the commandment of God (word of God).\u00a0<br \/>Knowing the word of God is going after the heat of God.\u00a0<br \/>For example, God identified King David as one after the heart of God.<br \/>The fear of David for God kept him and saw him through his life terminating challenges.\u00a0<br \/>King Saul chased the life of David while David gained the position to kill Saul.\u00a0<br \/>David was so fearful of God not to kill King Saul when he said,\u00a0<em><strong>\u201c\u2026But my eye spared you, and I said, \u2018I will not stretch out my hand against my lord, for he is the Lord\u2019s anointed.\u201d (1 Samuel 24:10)<\/strong><\/em>\u00a0<br \/>Is the fear of God your way of living life?\u00a0<br \/>David did not allow foolishness in his heart, and he did not demonstrate a lack of fear of God by killing King Saul.\u00a0<br \/>David was a man after the heart of God.\u00a0<br \/>The life experience of David qualifies to teach all the fear of God.\u00a0<br \/>In Psalm 34, David spoke out,\u00a0<em><strong>\u201cCome, you children, listen to me; I will teach you the fear of the Lord.\u201d (Proverbs 34:11)<\/strong><\/em><br \/>Are you a true believer that listens to hear and is one with an understanding of the fear of God?<br \/>Are you aware that the fear of God is a way to provoke the blessings of God?\u00a0<br \/>Through listening to the word of God, know God by keeping your heart diligently.<br \/>David Psalm 34 pointed out four points for all to learn and know God&#8217;s fear:\u00a0<em><strong>Keep your tongue from evil, keep your lips from speaking deceit, depart from evil, and do good; seek peace and pursue it.<\/strong><\/em><strong>\u00a0(Psalm 34:13-14)<\/strong>\u00a0<br \/>Digesting the four points into life will mark one as a God-fearing one.\u00a0<br \/>It is the grace of God that is giving life year after year.\u00a0<br \/>However, not knowing the fear of God is not a way to live before God.<br \/>To fear God is for self-good because it keeps such not departing from God. When one can obey fully by fearing God, He will preserve such fully.<br \/>Whatever is in line with the word of God and one with a desire for God shall be established by God.<br \/>One with a desire for God shall not live a life of waste.<br \/>David said:<br \/>Keep your tongue from evil.<br \/>Keep your lips from speaking deceit, depart from evil, and do good.<br \/>Seek peace and pursue it.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Prayer for today:&nbsp;<\/strong><em>Ask God to redeem your heart to fear Him.<\/em><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>FAITH CAPSULE:\u00a0The conclusion in the way of life is to fear God.
