{"id":10912,"date":"2023-10-13T02:00:00","date_gmt":"2023-10-13T02:00:00","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/faithprescription.com\/?p=10912"},"modified":"2023-10-12T20:00:57","modified_gmt":"2023-10-12T20:00:57","slug":"give-regard-to-god-3","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/faithprescription.com\/?p=10912","title":{"rendered":"GIVE REGARD TO GOD"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p><strong>FAITH CAPSULE:<\/strong>\u00a0How often do you give regard to the testimonies of God?<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><em><strong>1 Samuel 17<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>God is not evil, and there is no iota of wickedness in Him.\u00a0<br \/>God is a loving and merciful God; His thoughts and plans toward His children are good and better for His children.\u00a0<br \/>God confirms His good thoughts for all when he says,\u00a0<em><strong>\u201cFor I know the thoughts that I think toward you, says the LORD, thoughts of peace and not of evil, to give you a future and a hope.\u201d (Jeremiah 29:11)<\/strong>\u00a0<\/em><br \/>Whatever is good comes from God.\u00a0<br \/>Knowing that God is good to His children, one would wonder why His children often end up in captivity.\u00a0<br \/>God is not the author of evil, but His children often authorize evil to have its place by the kind of choice His children engage in living life.\u00a0<br \/>The word of God points out what could be the reason why the evil of captivity of destruction usually strikes by stating,\u00a0<em><strong>\u201c\u2026But they do not regard the work of the LORD, Nor consider the operation of His hands. Therefore, my people have gone into captivity because they have no knowledge.\u201d (Isaiah 5:12-13)<\/strong><\/em><br \/>The work of God is His testimony.\u00a0<br \/>His testimony is His word.\u00a0<br \/>By His word, He created all that is and will be.\u00a0<br \/>Disregarding the work of His hand can be compared to clay that does not give regard to its porter.\u00a0<br \/>Also, to disregard the works of His hand is to ignore His testimonies.<br \/>As a creation of God, are you giving regard to your Creator, the eternal rock of ages?<br \/>King David was able to engage the testimonies of God when he stood to challenge Goliath.\u00a0<br \/>The Bible documents David\u2019s testimonies,\u00a0<em><strong>\u201cBut David said to Saul, \u201cYour servant used to keep his father\u2019s sheep, and when a lion or a bear came and took a lamb out of the flock, I went out after it and struck it, and delivered the lamb from its mouth; and when it arose against me, I caught it by its beard, and struck and killed it.
