{"id":11054,"date":"2023-12-14T02:00:00","date_gmt":"2023-12-14T02:00:00","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/faithprescription.com\/?p=11054"},"modified":"2023-12-11T19:59:19","modified_gmt":"2023-12-11T19:59:19","slug":"challenges-4","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/faithprescription.com\/?p=11054","title":{"rendered":"CHALLENGES"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p><strong>FAITH CAPSULE:<\/strong><em><strong>\u00a0<\/strong><\/em>There is more to learn in the challenge of life.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Matthew 14:22-33<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Challenges come; challenges go.\u00a0<br \/>Challenges come without a warning signal, and it is not always welcome. Challenges in the life journey are like a raging storm on the sea.\u00a0<br \/>Challenges can be painful, but in the end, they can become gainful through the learning experience they deliver.\u00a0<br \/>The disciple in the middle of the storm brings forth lessons on how to react in confronting challenges.<br \/>The Bible records how Jesus made His disciples go into the middle of the sea at evening hour and not go with them.\u00a0<br \/>While in the middle of the sea, waves tossed them, for the wind was contrary.\u00a0<em><strong>(Matthew 14:24)<\/strong><\/em>\u00a0<br \/>Jesus must have known what to happen to the disciples before He sent them.<br \/>Despite the challenge at sea, Jesus made His way to the disciples by walking on the boisterous wind.\u00a0<br \/>Jesus demonstrated faith in the place of fear.\u00a0\u00a0<br \/>Fear will sink you while faith will raise you.\u00a0<br \/>Faith and not fear is what everyone needs to confront every area of the storm that is raging in life.<br \/>Have faith by knowing that the one who walks on the storm is the one who speaks to calm the storm.\u00a0<br \/>Peter saw Jesus walking on water amid a storm that other disciples gripped in fear.\u00a0<br \/><em><strong>Matthew 14:28, \u201cAnd Peter answered Him and said, \u2018Lord, if it is You, command me to You on the water.\u2019\u201d\u00a0<\/strong><\/em>\u00a0<br \/>Jesus responded to Peter, asking him to come.\u00a0<br \/>Peter attempted to walk as Jesus walked on the storm.\u00a0<br \/>He had been with the Lord long enough; he saw miracles all along the way; he knew that faith, not fear, brought forth miracles.\u00a0<br \/>Despite all that Peter knew about Jesus, he failed to walk the walk and would have drowned if not for the outstretched hand of the Lord.\u00a0<em><strong>Matthew 14:30, \u201cBut when he saw that the wind was boisterous, he was afraid; and beginning to sink he cried out, saying, \u2018Lord, save me!\u2019\u00a0<\/strong><\/em><br \/>As a believer, talking the word, quoting the word, and hearing and not doing as spoken is not enough to deliver.\u00a0<br \/>Living by the word of God is the only way to walk in every storm, just like Jesus did.\u00a0<br \/>Also, leaving the word out of walk does not lead to the expected end.\u00a0<br \/>Get into the word of God, and faith will get hold of you because the word of God is the source of faith.\u00a0<br \/>Let faith build you up.\u00a0<em><strong>Romans 10:17\u00a0<\/strong><\/em>informs all<em><strong>, \u201cSo then faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the word of God.\u201d\u00a0<\/strong><\/em><br \/>One can be hearing and hearing the word of God daily.<br \/>Read to study or listen to ministers God has placed in your life.\u00a0<br \/>Get into the word, living by the word to be out of the world.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Prayer for today:<\/strong>&nbsp;Ask God to keep you away from every agent of faith failure.&nbsp;<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>FAITH CAPSULE:\u00a0There is more to learn in the challenge of life.
