FAITH CAPSULE:\u00a0<\/strong>It is not enough to be fluent in His word if one is not in Him.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Psalm 116<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Knowing about the name of Jesus is not enough to claim to know Him.
God answers to those who seek Him.
He is the same yesterday and forever.\u00a0
David said,\u00a0\u201cI will call upon the LORD, who is worthy to be praised; so shall I be saved from my enemies.\u201d (2 Samuel 22:4)<\/em><\/strong>\u00a0
David was not entertaining with words, but he was gaining entrance into the court of God.\u00a0
David was gaining entrance into the presence of God through praise because it is praise that grants access to His court.\u00a0
Psalm 100:4\u00a0<\/em><\/strong>records,\u00a0\u201cEnter into His gates with thanksgiving, And into His courts with praise. Be thankful to Him, and bless His name.\u201d<\/em><\/strong>\u00a0Thanksgiving will get you to the gate, and praise will get you into the court.\u00a0
David wanted to get to the court when He declared praise worship for His salvation from his enemies.\u00a0
Praise driven by joy, not just mouthful praise but praise from the heart, will get you to His court.\u00a0
What do you call Him?\u00a0
He has so many names no other god shares because He alone is the great God.\u00a0
Which of His names will you call?\u00a0
It is the name of God that you call that will answer for you.\u00a0
If you call on Him as a God of provision, He will answer to you, and if called on Him as a God of salvation, He will not deny Himself.\u00a0
The question is, do you know Him?\u00a0\u00a0
Romans 10:13 records, \u201cFor whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved.\u201d\u00a0<\/em><\/strong>\u00a0
Know His name to call on Him for salvation.
The word says whosoever calls, and whosoever could mean anyone that knows His name.
Those who know His name live by His word.\u00a0
Many respond to situations calling, \u201cOh my God\u201d, or say, \u201cOh Jez\u201d, but do not know Him.
Many people know about His name, and some know His name.\u00a0
Knowing the name of Jesus is not enough if the one who claims to know Him is not\u00a0in<\/em>\u00a0Him.\u00a0
To be known in Him is to live the word of God daily.\u00a0
It is possible to live the word of God.\u00a0
If the word of God were not livable, God would not have the expectation for all to live by His word.\u00a0
Jesus said,\u00a0\u201cIf you abide in Me, and My words abide in you, you will ask what you desire, and it shall be done for you.\u201d (John 15:7)\u00a0<\/em><\/strong>
It is not enough to be fluent in His word if one does not abide in Him.\u00a0
One that abides in Him shall become known to Him.
The grace of God is sufficient, and it will make it possible to live the word of God.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
