{"id":11216,"date":"2024-02-21T02:00:00","date_gmt":"2024-02-21T02:00:00","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/faithprescription.com\/?p=11216"},"modified":"2024-02-20T00:04:48","modified_gmt":"2024-02-20T00:04:48","slug":"complain-not","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/faithprescription.com\/?p=11216","title":{"rendered":"COMPLAIN NOT!\u00a0"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p><strong>FAITH CAPSULE:<\/strong>\u00a0Acts of complaining are acts of rebellion.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><em><strong>Exodus 15<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The coming out of the bondage of over four hundred years was a testimony for the children of Israel to keep going without disobedience to God.<br \/>Such testimony is not to be quiet testimony to what God can do should be a constant reminder, energizing a believer in the life journey.<br \/>Just as they came out of bondage and set for their journey to the Promised Land, they ran into a stumbling block.\u00a0<br \/>The chariot of Pharaoh came behind them, and they were bewildered by the land, closed up by the wilderness.\u00a0<br \/>For the children of Israel, there was nowhere to turn to but to face the forces of Pharaoh or jump and die in the Red Sea.\u00a0<br \/>Does that sound like you?\u00a0<br \/>Trust and hope that you serve a miracle-working God.<br \/>God, who made a way where there was no way, showed up on their behalf and made a way in the middle of the Red Sea.\u00a0<br \/>God did not only make an ordinary passage, but He made a substantial way.\u00a0<br \/><em><strong>Exodus 14:22<\/strong><\/em>\u00a0records,\u00a0<em><strong>\u201cSo the children of Israel went into the midst of the sea on the dry ground, and the waters were a wall to them on their right hand and on their left.\u201d\u00a0<\/strong><\/em>\u00a0<br \/>God made a way for His children to gain and retain life.\u00a0<br \/>In the same way, God for the Israelites made way as a death trap to the adversary of His children (Pharao and his people).<br \/>What a God!\u00a0<br \/>When God is for you, whatever stands against you will fall for you.\u00a0\u00a0<br \/>Trust that when God is behind you, He is ahead of you, and the enemy can never be more powerful.\u00a0<br \/>The Israelites passed through the Red Sea but forgot what the Lord had done.\u00a0<br \/>By forgetting, they entered into rebellious acts against the Lord God.\u00a0<br \/>The Bible records,<em><strong>\u00a0\u201cAnd the people complained against Moses, saying, \u201cWhat shall we drink?\u201d (Exodus 15:23-24)\u00a0<\/strong><\/em><br \/>The complaint to Moses was an indirect complaint unto God.\u00a0<br \/>Acts of complaining are acts of rebellion.\u00a0<br \/>Are you quickly forgetting what the Lord has done? Right after God responded by providing water to drink where there was no water, the word records they<em><strong>\u00a0\u201c\u2026came to Elim, where there were twelve wells of water and seventy palm trees; so they camped there by the waters.\u201d (Exodus 15:27)<\/strong><\/em>\u00a0<br \/>God was always ahead of them.<br \/>If they had remembered what He had done, they would have known God was ahead of them in challenging times.\u00a0<br \/>The Lord has not forgotten you.\u00a0<br \/>Remember always what God has done to provoke His hand so that He may add more than your imagination as you journey through this life.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Prayer for today:<\/strong><em>&nbsp;Ask God to deliver you from every spirit of complaining.
