{"id":11231,"date":"2024-02-29T02:00:00","date_gmt":"2024-02-29T02:00:00","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/faithprescription.com\/?p=11231"},"modified":"2024-02-28T02:13:30","modified_gmt":"2024-02-28T02:13:30","slug":"mercy-is-a-blessing","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/faithprescription.com\/?p=11231","title":{"rendered":"MERCY IS A BLESSING"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p><strong>FAITH CAPSULE:<\/strong>\u00a0The mercy of God does not run out, but it is consistently available.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><em><strong>Psalm 136, Luke 9:10-17<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Psalmist declared,\u00a0<em><strong>\u201cOh, give thanks to the Lord, for He is good! For His mercy endures forever.\u201d (Psalm 118:1)<\/strong><\/em>\u00a0<br \/>The mercy of God is endless; He does not run out of mercy.\u00a0<br \/>Having a life is never on merit but by the mercy of God.\u00a0<br \/>Regardless of situation or location, it is the character of Jesus not to look away from His children and send them empty.\u00a0<br \/>The love of God is truth beyond the comprehension of all.\u00a0<br \/>His love is His grace, an endless mercy.\u00a0<br \/>The mercy of God does not run out, but it is consistently available.<br \/>Can it be imagined of Jesus, in a deserted place, to send away a multitude that had been thronging on Him all day because of lack?\u00a0<br \/>When Jesus was on the face of the earth, He did not send His own away empty, and He will not do it now.\u00a0<br \/>At a time, in a deserted area, the multitude was to be let go emptily.\u00a0<br \/>When Jesus knew, He reacted to the disciples,\u00a0<em><strong>\u201c\u2026You give them something to eat.\u201d And they said, \u201cWe have no more than five loaves and two fish unless we go and buy food for all these people.\u201d (Luke 9:13)<\/strong><\/em>\u00a0<br \/>Jesus would not let them go empty because they went to seek Him.\u00a0<br \/>Jesus will not let anyone go to seek Him empty.\u00a0<br \/>The disciples were concerned because there was not enough to feed five thousand, but with Jesus, there is always more than enough to give out.<br \/>The disciples said to Jesus,\u00a0<em><strong>\u201cFor there were about five thousand men. Then He said to His disciples, \u201cMake them sit down in groups of fifty.\u201d (Luke 9:14)<\/strong><\/em>\u00a0<br \/>Jesus knew there was a lack for the people, but the power to replace lack into abundance belongs to Him.<br \/>He commanded how the people should be seated, while provision was not yet visible in the physical.\u00a0<br \/>Are you one who is experiencing a deserted situation?\u00a0<br \/>Does your situation seem to be un-resolvable?\u00a0<br \/>Trust and hope to obey the direction for lack be converted to plenty.<br \/>The Bible records that the people sat down as He had commanded.\u00a0<br \/>The multitude sat down in obedience to His command with expectation.<em><strong>Luke 9:16-17\u00a0<\/strong><\/em>records,\u00a0<em><strong>\u201cThen He took the five loaves and the two fish, and looking up to heaven, He blessed and broke them, and gave them to the disciples to set before the multitude. So they all ate and were filled, and twelve baskets of the leftover fragments were taken up by them.\u201d\u00a0<\/strong><\/em>\u00a0<br \/>He is not an empty God; He will not forsake you if His command is not forsaken.\u00a0<br \/>As a believer, taking a seat of obedience is the blessing of His goodness and mercy.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Prayer for today:<\/strong><em>&nbsp;Ask that obedience to the word of God shall be your portion.<\/em><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>FAITH CAPSULE:\u00a0The mercy of God does not run out, but it is consistently available.
