{"id":11258,"date":"2024-03-11T02:00:00","date_gmt":"2024-03-11T02:00:00","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/faithprescription.com\/?p=11258"},"modified":"2024-03-09T22:13:40","modified_gmt":"2024-03-09T22:13:40","slug":"it-is-your-choice","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/faithprescription.com\/?p=11258","title":{"rendered":"IT IS YOUR CHOICE"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p><strong>FAITH CAPSULE:<\/strong>\u00a0To have joy is a choice.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><em><strong>Philippians 1<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Jesus, the living word of God, is the only source of joy for all.\u00a0<br \/>Jesus told His disciples,\u00a0<em><strong>\u201cThese things I have spoken to you, that My joy may remain in you, and that your joy may be full.\u201d (John 15:11)<\/strong><\/em>\u00a0<br \/>It is a choice when open to become filled with the word for joy.<br \/>After Jesus, John, a disciple of Jesus, could not be quiet but confirmed the word of Jesus by stating,\u00a0<em>\u201c<strong>And these things we write to you that your joy may be full.\u201d (1 John 1:4)\u00a0<\/strong><\/em><br \/>Apostle Paul buttressed,\u00a0<em><strong>\u201c\u2026Christ is preached, and in this I rejoice, yes, and will rejoice.\u201d (Philippians 1:18)\u00a0<\/strong><\/em><br \/>Having joy through the word of God is the only source.\u00a0<br \/>Think, why are you not rejoicing always?<br \/>Is the word gaining entrance?\u00a0<br \/>Is the word enter to fill you up or to pass out not established in you?<br \/>Jesus wants the things He has spoken to gain entrance, established, and joy.<br \/>The fullness of joy grants access to the presence of God.\u00a0<br \/>The Psalmist pointed out, \u201c<em><strong>You will show me the path of life; in Your presence is fullness of joy; at Your right hand are pleasures forevermore.\u201d (Psalm 16:11)\u00a0<\/strong><\/em><br \/>The path of life is to have the joy of the Lord to gain and retain the presence of God.<br \/>One must be joyful because the word He has spoken is truth, and it can never return to Him void of performing what He says.<br \/>Has He promised and not done?\u00a0<br \/>One that is not rejoicing is the one with worrying, not with the word of God.\u00a0<br \/>One that has received the word and believes in the word shall have no place for worrying but rejoicing because He commanded,\u00a0<em><strong>\u201cTherefore do not worry, saying, \u2018What shall we eat?\u2019 or \u2018What shall we drink?\u2019 or \u2018What shall we wear?\u2019 For after all these things the Gentiles seek. For your heavenly Father knows that you need all these things. But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.\u201d (Matthew 6:31-33)<\/strong><\/em><strong>\u00a0<\/strong><br \/>What are the things that are causing you not to rejoice?\u00a0<br \/>Has the word not spoken that,\u00a0<em><strong>\u201cAnd we know that all things work together for good to those who love God, to those who are called according to His purpose.\u201d (Romans 8:28)<\/strong><\/em>\u00a0<br \/>In times of challenging things, why not engage the word of God, knowing that it will eventually work together as promised in the word of God?\u00a0<br \/>If you allow the spoken word to fill you and you become full of His word, joy, and rejoicing shall be your portion regardless of the challenging things of the world.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Prayer for today:<\/strong>&nbsp;<em>Ask that you become filled by the word of God, the source of joy.<\/em><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>FAITH CAPSULE:\u00a0To have joy is a choice.
