{"id":11272,"date":"2024-03-17T02:00:00","date_gmt":"2024-03-17T02:00:00","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/faithprescription.com\/?p=11272"},"modified":"2024-03-16T18:41:31","modified_gmt":"2024-03-16T18:41:31","slug":"god-deposits","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/faithprescription.com\/?p=11272","title":{"rendered":"GOD DEPOSITS\u00a0"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p><strong>FAITH CAPSULE:\u00a0<\/strong>If anyone desires to love God, God will deposit such with what it takes to love God.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><em><strong>1 John 5&nbsp;<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Do you love God?<br \/>What does it mean for you to have love for God?<br \/>Many songs have been composed about love for God among the believers and non-believers.\u00a0<br \/>Among such is the song that says,\u00a0<em>\u201cOh how I love Jesus 3x because He died for me.\u201d\u00a0<\/em><br \/>Have you taken some time out to search your heart if you love God?\u00a0<br \/>Do you love God?\u00a0<br \/>What does it mean to love God?<br \/>LOVING GOD<br \/><em><strong>1 John 5:3, \u201cFor this is the love of God, that we keep His commandments.\u201d<\/strong><\/em>\u00a0<br \/>Keeping the commandment of God is living by the command of God, either doing His will or being obedient to His will.\u00a0<br \/>It takes sacrificial commitment to the commandment of God.\u00a0<br \/>Loving God is a sacrifice.\u00a0<br \/>Sacrifice is not cheap but costly.\u00a0<br \/>King David once stated in\u00a0<em><strong>2 Samuel 24:24, \u201cNo, but I will surely buy it from you for a price; nor will I offer burnt offerings to the LORD my God with that which costs me nothing.\u201d So David bought the threshing floor and the oxen for fifty shekels of silver.\u201d<\/strong><\/em>\u00a0<br \/>King David was responding to Araunah when he offered David a free land to make a sacrifice to God.\u00a0<br \/>The sacrifice was to deliver the children of Israel from death caused by the census ordered to be conducted by David.\u00a0<br \/>The census violated the command of God.\u00a0<br \/>The rejection of free land from Araunah was a clear demonstration of what a costly sacrifice before God should be.\u00a0<br \/>Engaging in a costly sacrifice is a proven mark of love for God.\u00a0<br \/>With God, there is a standard for every area of His expectation for all.\u00a0<br \/>God did not just ask for love but gave all a standard of acceptable love as stated in\u00a0<em><strong>Deuteronomy 6:5, \u201cYou shall love the LORD your God with all your heart, with all your soul, and with all your strength.\u201d<\/strong><\/em>\u00a0<br \/>To love God is to give Him all.\u00a0<br \/>Through the pages of the Bible, men and women who gave Him all were able to live a fulfilled life and accomplish great exploits to the glory of God.\u00a0<br \/>Men like Abraham, Joseph, Daniel, and other giants loved God and were able to do great exploits.\u00a0<br \/>The approaching of the giant in the hand of God concerning the issues of life depicts what it is to love God with all of their heart, soul, and strength.\u00a0<br \/>God has not asked all that is not doable.<br \/>Are you willing to love God?<br \/>To love God should not be a word of the mouth alone, but to love is rooted in the heart.\u00a0<br \/>If anyone desires to love God, God will deposit such with what it takes to love God.<br \/>Love God and have life in Him.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Prayer for today:\u00a0<\/strong><em>Ask to be enabled to love God in ways of living.<\/em><br \/><em>Also, pray against the spirit that causes one to cease loving God.<\/em><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>FAITH CAPSULE:\u00a0If anyone desires to love God, God will deposit such with what it takes to love God. 1 John 5&nbsp;
