FAITH CAPSULE:<\/strong>\u00a0Know in your waiting time.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

1 Samuel 1<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Parable of Persistent Widow points out to always pray and not lose heart. 
To pray with persistence without stopping is the character of waiting on God.
The barrenness of Hannah praying without stopping from going to Shiloh yearly to worship and sacrifice to God was waiting before God without doubt. 
Hannah was persistent until God opened her womb. 
Waiting on God can usually entail staying for either a short or long period. God answers individuals in different ways at different times. 
God is the perfect creator.
Time belongs to God, and no one can rush Him out of His plan, His appointed time of manifestation. 
The Psalmist identified different lengths of time for waiting: 
Psalm 25:5:\u201c\u2026On you, I will wait all day.\u201d <\/em><\/strong>
Psalm 62:1, \u201cTruly my soul silently waits for God\u2026\u201d <\/em><\/strong>
Psalm 37:7, \u201cRest in the Lord, and wait patiently for Him.\u201d <\/em><\/strong>
Hosea 12:6, \u201c\u2026wait on your God continually.\u201d <\/em><\/strong>
Philippians 3:20, \u201cFor our citizenship is in heaven, from which we also eagerly wait for the Savior, the Lord Jesus Christ.\u201d<\/em><\/strong> 
The key to waiting on God has to be patiently, continually, silently, and eagerly. 
Waiting on God can take longer than expected, but God will always manifest Himself when being patient in Him is demonstrated.
IN TIME OF WAITING<\/u><\/strong>
In your waiting, acknowledge God, remind Him of what He has done, what He is doing, and what He is undeniable. 
Always make your request known to Him.
Acknowledge God:<\/u><\/em> 
He is a jealous God, and the antidote to jealousy is attention. 
God enjoys gaining attention. 
Proverbs 3:6, \u201cIn all your ways acknowledge Him, and He shall direct your paths.\u201d <\/em><\/strong>
What do you know to do before God to experience activation breakthrough? 
The Psalmist\u2019s statement acknowledges Him, \u201cGood and upright is the Lord; therefore He teaches sinners in the way.\u201d (Psalm 25:8)<\/em><\/strong> 
Waiting without acknowledging the Lord is waiting in anguish.
Reminding God:<\/u><\/em> 
Reminding God is not because God has forgotten you. 
God encourages all in Isaiah 45:11, \u201c\u2026and concerning the works of my hands, you command me.\u201d<\/em><\/strong> 
One who knows to remember the works of the hands of God will be in a position holding the to God as stated in His word. 
The Psalmist reminded Him in Psalm 25:6, \u201cRemember, O Lord, Your tender mercies and Your loving kindnesses\u2026\u201d<\/em><\/strong> 
Remind God of His word. 
He is a good and great God. 
Request from God:<\/u><\/em> 
He wants all to ask so the one that asks will receive. Jesus encourages us, \u201cSo I say to you, ask, and it will be given to you; seek, and you will find; knock, and it will be opened to you.\u201d (Luke 11:9) Psalm 25:16<\/em><\/strong> states, \u201cTurn Yourself to me, and have mercy on me, For I am desolate and afflicted.\u201d <\/em><\/strong> 
He is the God of salvation and not a slave master.
God will respond to the request of one who asks, demonstrating His caring love for all. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Prayer for today:<\/strong> Ask God to enable you to persist before Him in a time of need.<\/em><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
