{"id":11534,"date":"2024-08-24T02:00:00","date_gmt":"2024-08-24T02:00:00","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/faithprescription.com\/?p=11534"},"modified":"2024-08-22T23:53:06","modified_gmt":"2024-08-22T23:53:06","slug":"on-the-right-track","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/faithprescription.com\/?p=11534","title":{"rendered":"ON THE RIGHT TRACK"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p><strong>FAITH CAPSULE: <\/strong>Do not be trapped on the right track.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><em><strong>John 5:1-23<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>To be trapped on the right track is not the will of God for His creation.<br \/>The Bible records a man who had an infirmity of thirty-eight years.<br \/>The man with infirmity was on the right track to gain healing but was trapped.<br \/><em><strong>John 5:1-4<\/strong><\/em> describes the track where healing was in place for the infirmity, <em><strong>&#8220;the Sheep Gate a pool, which is called in Hebrew, Bethesda, having five porches. 3\u00a0In these lay a great multitude of sick people, blind, lame, paralyzed, waiting for the moving of the water.\u00a0\u00a04\u00a0For an angel went down at a certain time into the pool and stirred up the water; then whoever stepped in first, after the stirring of the water, was made well of whatever disease he had.&#8221;<\/strong><\/em><br \/>The infirmity man of thirty-eight years trapped on the right track of where to gain healing.<br \/>By the mercy of God, Jesus saw him lying and knew that he had been <em>in that condition<\/em> for a long time.<br \/>He said to him, <em><strong>\u201cDo you want to be made well?\u201d (John 5:6)<\/strong><\/em><br \/>The mercy of God called the attention of the man with infirmity.<br \/>Mercy belongs to God.<br \/><em><strong>Romans 9:15<\/strong><\/em> testifies to God, <em><strong>\u201cI will have mercy on whomever I will have mercy, and I will have compassion on whomever I will have compassion.\u201d<\/strong><\/em><br \/>The man with infirmity answered the calling of Jesus, <em><strong>\u201cSir, I have no man to put me into the pool when the water is stirred up; but while I am coming, another steps down before me.\u201d (John 5:7)<\/strong><\/em><br \/>The stagnation of the man with infirmity was rooted in looking outside God for help.<br \/>Who are you looking at for intervention to your challenge?<br \/>Watching and praying is a way to pray to God and engage the presence of God.<br \/>Jesus spoke to the infirmity man, <em><strong>\u201cRise, take up your bed and walk.\u201d (John 5:8)<\/strong><\/em><br \/><em><strong>John 5:9, &#8220;And immediately the man was made well, took up his bed, and walked.&#8221;<\/strong><\/em><br \/>The healing word of God sounded in the direction of the sick man, and he rose immediately.<br \/>Believe that every trap in your life that you know or do not know shall experience the visitation of God, that stagnation be converted motion to the glory of God.<br \/>By the mercy of God, Jesus saw him lying and knew that he had been <em>in that condition for<\/em> a long time.<br \/>Mercy belongs to God.<br \/>God will have mercy on who He chooses to have mercy on.<br \/>However, the mercy of God is attainable when one asks or pleads for His mercy.<br \/>Job is a blameless and upright man before God demonstrates the need to plead before God:\u00a0<em><strong>\u201cFor though I were righteous, I could not answer Him; I would beg mercy of my Judge\u201d (Job 9:15).<\/strong><\/em>\u00a0<br \/><strong>Prayer for today:<\/strong> Ask that God will have mercy over you.<br \/>Ask that every area of stagnation, physically, spiritually, and emotionally, become converted to motion, to the glory of God.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>FAITH CAPSULE: Do not be trapped on the right track.
