{"id":11976,"date":"2025-05-26T19:02:56","date_gmt":"2025-05-26T19:02:56","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/faithprescription.com\/?p=11976"},"modified":"2025-05-26T19:02:56","modified_gmt":"2025-05-26T19:02:56","slug":"strive-to-content","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/faithprescription.com\/?p=11976","title":{"rendered":"STRIVE TO CONTENT"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p><strong>FAITH CAPSULE:<\/strong> One with contentment is with the heart of thanksgiving.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong><em>Exodus 2<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Gratification is satisfaction.<br \/>Satisfaction is with contentment.<br \/>Anyone with a fear of God is bound not to be a victim of evil.<br \/>Satisfaction and contentment operate by thanking God.<br \/>Satisfaction and contentment are the evidence of fear of God that should fuel a heart of thanksgiving to God.<br \/>Fear God to let Him enable you in all the days He has given you.<br \/>The book of Proverbs buttresses,\u00a0<strong><em>\u201cThe fear of the Lord leads to life, and he who has it will abide in satisfaction; He will not be visited with evil.\u201d (Proverbs 19:23)<\/em><\/strong><br \/>Do you have a heart of thanking God?<br \/>Do you know why you are thankful to God?\u00a0<br \/>Why not desire to thank God as a way of life?<br \/>Give thanks to God from the depth of your heart because God does not overlook heartful thanks.\u00a0\u00a0<br \/>One with contentment is with the heart of thanksgiving.<br \/>The contentment of Moses influenced the character, and he was noticeable for assignment for God.\u00a0<br \/><strong><em>Exodus 2:21 <\/em><\/strong>records,\u00a0<strong><em>\u201cThen Moses was content to live with the man, and he gave Zipporah his daughter to Moses.\u201d <\/em><\/strong>\u00a0<br \/>One with the spirit of the content does not struggle to readjust where destiny positions such to embrace.<br \/>Moses lived in the palace of Pharaoh for forty years and ended up in Midian, a strange land.\u00a0<br \/>Moses refused to get carried away by the exuberant palace life and could not ignore the suffering of his brethren.<br \/>Moses, by his act of support for one of his brethren, became a murderer. He had to flee the palace of Pharaoh to avoid persecution at the hands of Pharaoh.\u00a0<br \/>Moses ran from Pharaoh to end at the desert as the location for living.<br \/>Moses was content to live in the desert with Jethro, his father-in-law, the priest of Midian, a strange land.\u00a0<br \/>There was no evidence or demonstration of bitterness or complaint with his new family in the land.\u00a0<br \/>The contentment of Moses is what made him become an agent in the hand of God for the assignment for his life.<br \/>One with content will take a position provoking the move of the hand of God to gain favor, guidance, deliverance, preservation, and many more blessings of God.\u00a0<br \/><strong><em>1 Timothy 6:6-7\u00a0<\/em><\/strong>buttresses,<strong><em> \u201cNow godliness with contentment is great gain. For we brought nothing into this world, and we can certainly carry nothing out.\u201d<\/em><\/strong>\u00a0<br \/>For Moses, coming out of a palace and into a strange land with a testimony of being content, he undoubtedly gained the attention of Heaven.\u00a0<br \/>The contentment of Moses speaks a great deal of his character.\u00a0<br \/>His action demonstrated that he brought nothing to this world, and no material wealth could have kept him from doing what was right when to do right is demanded.\u00a0<br \/>Moses had faith, and God was pleased to use him for noticeable assignments.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Prayer for today:&nbsp;<\/strong><em>Ask God that the spirit of satisfaction will have a way of life in your life.<\/em><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>FAITH CAPSULE: One with contentment is with the heart of thanksgiving.
