FAITH CAPSULE:<\/strong> With understanding is to gain knowledge.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Hosea 4<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

With knowledge, commands in the word of God are possible to do.
Hosea 4:6<\/em><\/strong>\u00a0\u00a0recorded, \u201cMy people are destroyed for lack of knowledge. Because you have rejected knowledge, I also will reject you from being priest for Me; Because you have forgotten the law of your God, I also will forget your children.\u201d<\/em><\/strong>
One lack is lack is one not full.
It is how full of knowledge that will determine how far such will go with God in the journey of life.
Walking for God, walking with God, or before God is a way not to live a life of waste.
One who is not walking in the knowledge of God is taking a route of self-destruction in the wicked world.
Understanding is to gain the knowledge of God.
One who listens to the word will gain an understanding.
Are you listening to the word of God constantly or casually?
To listen is not to hear.
Hearing, and hearing (hearing repeatedly) is listening.
Jesus identified listening disability as the reason for the lack of understanding.
Rhetorically, Jesus asked and answered why there is a listening disability: \u201cWhy do you not understand My speech? Because you are not able to listen to My word.\u201d (John 8: 43)<\/em><\/strong>
Having understanding is a need to be full and not lack knowledge.
One who gains understanding in the word of God is bound not to become a victim of lacking knowledge but to have a knowing edge in the challenges of the world.
In the word of Jesus, it is glaring that lack of understanding is the disability to listen.
Without understanding is the result of disability in listening.
One with a lack of understanding cannot be living by the word of God
In the Bible, Jesus repeatedly gave all do-able directions for self-deliverance.
Jesus said, \u201cWatch and pray, lest you enter into temptation. The spirit indeed is willing, but the flesh is weak.\u201d (Matthew 26:41)<\/em><\/strong>
\u201cTake heed, watch and pray; for you do not know when the time is.\u201d (Mark 13:33)<\/em><\/strong>
\u201cWatch, therefore, and pray always that you may be counted worthy to escape all these things that will come to pass, and to stand before the Son of Man.\u201d (Luke 21:36)<\/em><\/strong>
Just like Jesus said, Paul also called for the importance of prayer:
\u201cPraying always with all prayer and supplication in the Spirit, being watchful to this end with all perseverance and supplication for all the saint.\u201d (Ephesians 6:18)<\/em><\/strong>
The book of 1 Peter 4:7<\/strong> also recorded, \u201cBut the end of all things is at hand; therefore, be serious and watchful in your prayers.\u201d\u00a0<\/em><\/strong>
How is your prayer life? Are you serious about prayer?
Jesus demonstrated the need for prayer life for all, and Paul admonished the need for prayer as stated in
Acts 6:4,<\/em><\/strong> \u201cBut we will give ourselves continually to prayer and to the ministry of the word.\u201d<\/em><\/strong>
Listen to gain an understanding of the word of God, and know to watch and pray for deliverance.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
