FAITH CAPSULE:<\/strong> Evidence of hearing Him is doing as He says.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Proverbs 19<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Hearing and hearing are not the same as hearing.
Hearing and hearing are to hear and gain understanding.
Hearing and hearing will gain faith.
Romans 10:17<\/em><\/strong> speaks to all, “So then\u00a0faith\u00a0comes\u00a0by\u00a0hearing,\u00a0and\u00a0hearing\u00a0by the word of God.”<\/em><\/strong>
Hearing and hearing the word of God is crucial to have faith in God.
One that hears repeatedly will gain understanding, which gives a knowing edge.
In John 8:43<\/em><\/strong>, Jesus rhetorically questioned and answered, “Why do you not understand My speech? Because you are not\u00a0able\u00a0to\u00a0listen\u00a0to\u00a0My word.”<\/em><\/strong>
Hearing repeatedly is evidence of listening to hear and gain understanding.
Are you hearing Him?
Luke 9:35\u00a0<\/em><\/strong>records the condition to experience the blessing of God: \u201cAnd a voice came out of the cloud, saying, ‘This is My beloved Son. Hear Him!\u201d<\/em><\/strong> Make it a way of life to hear from God.
Hearing Him by listening is the way to be blessed.\u00a0
It is impossible to hear His word by listening and not doing His word.\u00a0
Jesus is the wisdom of God for all who will accept Him.
He is the instruction that will make the hearer of Him live life abundantly. Jesus confirms,\u00a0\u201cI have come that they may have life and that they may have it more abundantly.\u201d (John 10:10)<\/em><\/strong>
Evidence of hearing Him is doing as He says.
Mary, the mother of Jesus, instructed at the wedding of Canaan of Galilee with the lack of wine, \u201cWhatever He says to you, do\u00a0it.\u201d\u00a0<\/em>
Hearing Him by listening is the source of fear of God.
Do you give yourself to hear God?
Are you allowing the fear of God to reign and rule your life?\u00a0
To fear God is to live life abundantly, the blessing Jesus brought to all.\u00a0
Proverbs 19:23\u00a0<\/em><\/strong>states, \u201cThe fear of the LORD leads to life, and he who has it will abide in satisfaction; He will not be visited with evil.\u00a0<\/em><\/strong>
In life, the fear of God will cause the hearer to abide in satisfaction.\u00a0
One with satisfaction will shut out the evil one.
Are you hearing Him enough to be satisfied?
To make hearing from God a way of life is the character of one who fears God, to live life abundantly.
Judas, a disciple of Jesus, was positioned to hear the word day and night, yet disqualified from his calling.\u00a0
Judas could not be satisfied but had a lust for money.\u00a0
Living life with the spirit of lust will cause anyone to become vulnerable to an evil agenda.\u00a0
John 12:4-6<\/em><\/strong> records the lust of Judas:\u00a0\u201cBut one of His disciples, Judas Iscariot, Simon\u2019s son, who would betray Him, said, \u201cWhy was this fragrant oil not sold for three hundred denarii and given to the poor?\u201d This he said, not that he cared for the poor, but because he was a thief, and had the money box; and he used to take what was put in it.\u201d (John 12:4-6)<\/em><\/strong>\u00a0
Judas loves money.\u00a0
Judas was not satisfied, demonstrating as one who had not heard enough from God.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
