FAITH CAPSULE: <\/strong>Are you consciously or unconsciously stoning Jesus?<\/p>\n\n\n\n

John 8<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Are you a representative of stone at Jesus by your way of life?
The world attempted to stone Jesus during His time on the face of the earth; the way of life was stoning Jesus.
Once, Jesus entered the temple early in the morning.
While He was there, all the people came to Him; and He sat down and taught them.
At that very occasion of Him in the temple, the scribes and Pharisees were also present.
The Bible recorded that Jesus experienced testing so that they might have a reason to place an accusation against Him.
At His visitation to the temple, He made a statement, saying, \u201cI am the light of the world. He who follows Me shall not walk in darkness, but have the light of life.\u201d (John 8:12)<\/strong><\/em>
The Pharisees responded to the statement made by Jesus, \u201cThe Pharisees therefore said to Him, ‘You bear witness of Yourself; Your witness is not true.\u201d (John 8:13)<\/strong><\/em>
In your temple, which groups are present?
Which group do you represent?
Are you a believer?
Are you a scribe or a Pharisee?
The groups in the temple could not agree with Jesus but took against Him.
John 8:59 <\/strong><\/em>records the experience of Jesus after His words to the people at the temple, stating, “Then they took stones to throw at Him; but Jesus hid Himself and went out of the temple, going through the midst of them, and so passed by.\u201d (John 8:59)\u00a0<\/strong><\/em>
Are you consciously or unconsciously stoning Jesus?
The Jews at that time picked up stones to throw at Jesus, but He hid himself and slipped away from the temple grounds.
If you have confessed Christ and your way of life does not line up with His word, it is the evidence of a stone thrower at Jesus.
Live life for the glory of God, come out of the company of stone throwers at Jesus.
After Jesus left the stone-throwing ground (temple), the Bible states, \u201cNow Jesus passed by, He saw a man who was blind from birth.\u201d(John 9:1)<\/strong><\/em>
He then came upon a blind man and healed him.
Which side are you on?
Jesus is the living word of God; Jesus is waiting to act on behalf of anyone who will accept Him indeed and in truth.
You have confessed Jesus, but Jesus does not have a place in your life.
As long as you continue to live a life of deception, He will pass by you.
He came to give sight to those who cannot see.
Jesus came to give life abundantly, not to destroy life for those who live for God.
He came to give hope to those who have lost hope.
Be on the receiving end, and He will not pass by you; He will visit you.
Live life for the glory of God.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
