{"id":12441,"date":"2026-01-10T02:00:00","date_gmt":"2026-01-10T02:00:00","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/faithprescription.com\/?p=12441"},"modified":"2026-01-09T22:52:54","modified_gmt":"2026-01-09T22:52:54","slug":"live-for-god-15","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/faithprescription.com\/?p=12441","title":{"rendered":"LIVE FOR GOD"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p><strong>FAITH CAPSULE: Obedience is like sowing good before God.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Genesis 27<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In your new season, sow good to gain the attention of God.<br \/>A new season is a new beginning; allow the newness of God to answer for you with His grace to overtake your life.<br \/>In the past year, what does not represent God, that did not glorify God in your life, shall become permanently separated from having a place in your life as you engage the journey of a new beginning.<br \/>In a new season, sow good before God.<br \/>What one sows that produces good seed will gain the attention of God.<br \/>One who sows the seed of a lie will reap the fruit of deception.<br \/>It is worthy to live life as one who knows God because anything short of that is living a life of a lie.<br \/>Live life for God.<br \/>Know that it is the will of God to exist for Him.<br \/>God invests in all to live for His glory; however, creation extends so little to Him.<br \/>Working and not walking with God will not go far with God.<br \/>What is the best way to keep walking in line before God?<br \/><strong><em>Leviticus 18:4 <\/em><\/strong>stated,<strong><em> \u201cYou shall observe My judgment and keep My ordinances, to walk in them. I am the Lord your God.\u201d<\/em><\/strong><br \/>To observe is to see, in the word of God, to receive and become living by the word of God.<br \/>Obedience to God is like one sowing good to reap good.<br \/>The son of Isaac (Esau) disobeyed his father by his violation of the word of God, which states, <strong><em>\u201cHonor your father and your mother, that your days may be long upon the land which the LORD your God is giving you. (Exodus 20:12).<\/em><\/strong><br \/>The Bible recorded the violation of Esau: <strong><em>\u201cWhen Esau was forty years old, he took as wives Judith, the daughter of Beeri the Hittite, and Basemath the daughter of Elon the Hittite. And they were a grief of mind to Isaac and Rebekah.\u201d (Genesis 26:34-35)<\/em><\/strong><br \/>Esau married against the direction of his father and mother.<br \/>The act of disobedience of Esau activated grief in the minds of his parents.<br \/>Despite the disobedience of Esau before his father (Isaac), he was called by His father, saying to him, <strong><em>\u201cNow, therefore, please take your weapons, your quiver and your bow, and go out to the field and hunt game for me. And make me savory food, such as I love, and bring it to me that I may eat, that my soul may bless you before I die.\u201d (Genesis 27:3-4)<\/em><\/strong><br \/>Isaac spoke to Esau with an assignment that was supposed to bless Esau.<br \/>The disobedience of Esau denied him the blessings of his father when Rebekah (mother of Esau and Jacob) re-assigned the blessing in place for Esau to Jacob.<br \/>Nothing can certainly change to reap good for sowing wrongly.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Prayer for today: <\/strong><em>Ask to live a life of obedience to the glory of God.<\/em><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>FAITH CAPSULE: Obedience is like sowing good before God.
