{"id":12640,"date":"2026-05-01T18:16:35","date_gmt":"2026-05-01T18:16:35","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/faithprescription.com\/?p=12640"},"modified":"2026-05-01T18:16:35","modified_gmt":"2026-05-01T18:16:35","slug":"have-mercy-on-me","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/faithprescription.com\/?p=12640","title":{"rendered":"HAVE MERCY ON ME"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p><strong>FAITH CAPSULE:<\/strong> The mercy of God means God is compassionate and kind with forbearance.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><em><strong>Psalm 92<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The beginning of a day or month demands unfailing thankfulness to God.<br \/><em><strong>Psalm 92:1-2<\/strong><\/em> identifies praising and thanking,\u00a0<em><strong>\u201cIt is good to give thanks to the LORD and to sing praises to Your name, O Most High.\u201d\u00a0<\/strong><\/em><br \/>Understanding, giving thanks, and praising God is giving regard to God at all times.<br \/>When understanding backs up conviction, it delivers an undeniable miracle.<br \/>Thank Him for His mercy.<br \/>Day after day, week after week, month after month, year after year, the mercy of God has been consistent in seeing you this far, not to become a victim of the wicked world.<br \/>The mercy of God means God is compassionate and kind with forbearance.<br \/>Understand, know how to walk in the word of God, and be enabled by God, not to run out of His mercy.<br \/>In the given days that you have by the breath of life, understand and know to live life to attain the mercy of God, as the Bible records His word.<br \/>God alone will have mercy on whom He chooses to, but He will also have mercy on one who lives by His command.<br \/>God is a good God, He will not turn not to have mercy for one doing it right according to His word.<br \/><strong><u>One that live align with the word of God and loves Him will not miss out of the mercy of God.<\/u><\/strong><br \/><em><u>The mercy of God is attainable when the life one is living aligns with the word of God:<\/u><\/em><br \/>One living life by the word of God takes the position to receive the mercy of God.\u00a0<br \/>For example, Joseph lived according to the word of God.<br \/>He ignored the temptation to violate the word of God and not to fail before God\u00a0<em><strong>(Genesis 39:7-15).<\/strong><\/em>\u00a0<br \/>In one instance, he denied the offer to sleep with the wife of his master by claiming:\u00a0<em><strong>\u201c\u2026How then can I do this great wickedness, and sin against God?\u201d (Genesis 39:9)<\/strong><\/em>\u00a0<br \/>Joseph reacted against the temptation of the wife of his master to experience the mercy of God as the Bible mentions,\u00a0<em><strong>\u201cBut the Lord was with Joseph and showed him mercy, and He gave him favor\u2026\u201d (Genesis 39:21).<\/strong><\/em>\u00a0<br \/><em><u>The mercy of God is attainable when one loves God:<\/u><\/em><br \/>Obedience to God is evidence of love for God that will always provoke the mercy of God.<br \/>The Bible records that loving God is keeping His commandments\u00a0<em><strong>(John 14:15).<\/strong><\/em><br \/>To understand and know God is to love God and to fear God.\u00a0\u00a0<br \/>The story of Joseph points out that Joseph kept the commandment of God by forbidding adultery when he fled from sleeping with the wife of his master.<br \/>Joseph obeys, loves, and fears God, and he gained the mercy of God.
