{"id":12660,"date":"2026-05-14T02:00:00","date_gmt":"2026-05-14T02:00:00","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/faithprescription.com\/?p=12660"},"modified":"2026-05-13T14:59:16","modified_gmt":"2026-05-13T14:59:16","slug":"your-position","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/faithprescription.com\/?p=12660","title":{"rendered":"YOUR POSITION?"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p><strong>FAITH CAPSULE: <\/strong>What is your position, your location from God?<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><em><strong>2 Kings 6<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Do you know if you are near or far from God?<br \/>To be close to God is a position to be near.<br \/>Never position in distance from God.<br \/>Elisha and his servant faced a challenge that demanded nearness to God for deliverance.<br \/>Elisha knew they were near to God, but not his servant.<br \/>The servant of Elisha was not aware of the presence of God for their deliverance because he did not know the nearness of God.<br \/>A believer of God, living life by the word of God, will know that God is near at all times, for His intervention never fails to deliver.\u00a0<br \/>The bible records,\u00a0<em><strong>\u201cSo when the Syrians came down to him, Elisha prayed to the LORD, and said, &#8216;Strike this people, I pray, with blindness.\u201d And He struck them with blindness according to the word of Elisha.\u201d (2 Kings 6:18)<\/strong><\/em><br \/>A believer should live in the consciousness that God is near, the evidence of faith, the expression of expectation for the protection of God.\u00a0<br \/>Do you know that God is near to you?<br \/>Are you living life exposed to the world that is outside of God?\u00a0<br \/>The Psalmist expresses,\u00a0<em><strong>\u201cA man who is in honor, yet does not understand, is like the beasts that perish.\u201d (Psalm 49:20)<\/strong><\/em>\u00a0<br \/>God made all, but many live life outside of God, not as a child of God, not keeping to His command, and far from God.\u00a0<br \/>Near to God is the protection of God.<br \/>Elisha walks before God and knows God.<br \/>He can see that the forces of God are waiting for his command before they can act on his behalf.<br \/>The life of Elisha is evident in being near God.<br \/>Near to God is the position of His presence.<br \/>What does it take to gain and maintain being in the presence of God?\u00a0<br \/>The Bible identifies what it takes to gain and maintain His presence:<br \/><em><strong>Acts 6:4, \u201cbut we will give ourselves continually to prayer and to the ministry of the word.\u201d<\/strong><\/em><br \/><em><strong>Acts 20:32, \u201cSo now, brethren, I commend you to God and to the word of His grace, which is able to build you up and give you an inheritance among all those who are sanctified.\u201d<\/strong><\/em><br \/><em><strong>Jude 20, \u201cBut you, beloved, building yourselves up on your most holy faith, praying in the Holy Spirit, 21 keep yourselves in the love of God, looking for the mercy of our Lord Jesus Christ unto eternal life.\u201d<\/strong><\/em><br \/>According to the word of God, seek God diligently by:\u00a0<br \/>Give yourself continually, not casually, in the Word of God.<br \/>Give yourself to be built up and be able to claim the blessings of God.<br \/>Give yourself to be a prayerful believer.<br \/>Give yourself to the word of God to become a faithful believer.<br \/>With desire, a<em>sk God that you live life in the consciousness of His care all the days of life He has for you.<\/em>\u00a0<br \/>Be near to God, who is always near for all who walk in His word.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Prayer for today:&nbsp;<\/strong><em>Pray that you know how to gain the nearness of God.<\/em><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>FAITH CAPSULE: What is your position, your location from God?
