FAITH CAPSULE:\u00a0<\/strong>Before God, what kind of a believer are you?<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Isaiah 37<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Claiming or answering as a believer, can you search to tell the kind of believer you are?
There are unbelieving believers, and also there are believing believers.
Who are you?
Unbelieving believers are conversant in the word of God
They carry the word of God in their mouths but not in their hearts.
Unbelieving believers can be identified by a character not Christ-like, not living by the word of God.
What kind of a believer are you?
Today, with a desire to live life for God, ask that God will enable you to begin to live life by the word of God, to live life for the glory of God, and not to live a life of waste.\u00a0
Prayer is the rod of a believing believer that prays with understanding for deliverance and preservation to excel to the glory of God.
Ask for the mercy of God to enable you with the strength of prayer continually before Him.
King Sennacherib of Assyria went against King Hezekiah; it was the prayer that brought down the Assyrians.
Hezekiah sent for Isaiah.
Isaiah 37:6-8\u00a0<\/strong><\/em>records the response to Hezekiah,” And Isaiah said to them, \u201cThus you shall say to your master, \u2018Thus says the Lord: \u201cDo not be afraid of the words which you have heard, with which the servants of the king of Assyria have blasphemed Me. 7 Surely I will send a spirit upon him, and he shall hear a rumor and return to his own land; and I will cause him to fall by the sword in his own land.\u201d\u00a0\u00a0<\/strong><\/em>
Hezekiah was prayerful against the Assyrians when he concluded his prayer before God as stated,\u00a0“Now, therefore, O Lord our God, save us from his hand, that all the kingdoms of the earth may know that You are the Lord, You alone.\u201d (Isaiah 37:29)<\/strong><\/em>
God answered the prayer of Hezekiah.(Isaiah 37:21)<\/strong><\/em>
Ask that what represents the Assyrians against your destiny be terminated.
Also, the blasphemers against you shall fall and not rise again.
Ask that every threat against your life shall be shattered and not stand against you.
Answering or living life as a believing believer is not an excuse from praying continually.
The word of Paul the apostle encourages in\u00a0Acts 6:4, “but we will give ourselves continually to prayer and to the ministry of the word.\u201d<\/strong><\/em>
As a believer, let praying before God be a central place in your life continually.
Hezekiah was sick when God sent Isaiah to reveal the cause of his sickness and his near death.
Isaiah 38:1<\/strong><\/em> states,\u00a0“In those days Hezekiah was sick and near death. And Isaiah the prophet, the son of Amoz, went to him and said to him, \u201cThus says the Lord: \u2018Set your house in order, for you shall die and not live.”<\/strong><\/em>
Hezekiah did not hesitate with an excuse but responded to the message of the Lord in\u00a0Isaiah 38:2, “Then Hezekiah turned his face toward the wall, and prayed to the Lord.”\u00a0<\/strong><\/em>
Prayer of deliverance before God is not an excuse for all.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
