{"id":12800,"date":"2026-08-15T02:00:00","date_gmt":"2026-08-15T02:00:00","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/faithprescription.com\/?p=12800"},"modified":"2026-08-14T02:41:08","modified_gmt":"2026-08-14T02:41:08","slug":"why-not","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/faithprescription.com\/?p=12800","title":{"rendered":"WHY NOT?"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p><strong>FAITH CAPSULE: <\/strong>Why not have a mind for God?<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong><em>Psalm 8<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>\u00a0<\/strong>Have the desire to be mindful of God.<br \/>Many claim to be believers but are not true; they do not know that a believer is one with a mind for God.<br \/>Do you have a mind for God that is after the heart of God?<br \/>Are you heedful or attentive to God as a way of living life?<br \/>Yes or no, are you?<br \/>Before answering as a believer, think and search yourself to see if you are mindful of God.<br \/>Without having the mind of God, one cannot answer as a believer.<br \/>All are blinded in mind, not knowing that the majority of minds are blinded. \u00a0<strong><em>2Corinthians 4:4<\/em><\/strong> points out,\u00a0<strong><em>&#8220;whose minds the god of this age has blinded, who do not believe, lest the light of the gospel of the glory of Christ, who is the image of God, should shine on them.&#8221;<\/em><\/strong><br \/>The majority are not mindful of God but empty of God.\u00a0<br \/>To be empty of God is to be occupied by the world.<br \/>Are you mindful of the word of God (God) or mindful of the world?<br \/>God is mindful of anyone who opens up for the entrance of God.<br \/>God testifies to David in\u00a0<strong><em>1 Samuel 13:14<\/em><\/strong> that David is a man after His own heart,\u00a0<strong><em>&#8220;&#8230;The Lord has sought for Himself a man after His own heart&#8230;&#8221;<\/em><\/strong><br \/>God continually looks for one who is mindful of Him.<br \/>David, a man after the mind of God, knows to ask God why God is mindful of man in<strong><em>Psalm 8:4, &#8220;What is man that You are mindful of him, and the son of man that You visit him? &#8220;<\/em><\/strong><br \/>To have a mind of God is not by determination but by desire. Know to ask that God will enable you by depositing in you His word to be mindful of Him.\u00a0<br \/><strong><em>Hebrews 8:10-12<\/em><\/strong> states,\u00a0<strong><em>&#8220;For this is the covenant that I will make with the house of Israel after those days, says the Lord: I will put My laws in their mind and write them on their hearts, and I will be their God, and they shall be My people. 11 None of them shall teach his neighbor, and none his brother, saying, \u2018Know the Lord,\u2019 for all shall know Me, from the least of them to the greatest of them. 12 For I will be merciful to their unrighteousness, and their sins and their lawless deeds I will remember no more.\u201d\u00a0<\/em><\/strong>God wants all to be mindful of Him.\u00a0<br \/>Have the desire to be mindful of God.<br \/>Let prayer not cease; ask to be enabled.<br \/><strong><em>PRAYER:<\/em><\/strong><br \/><strong><em>Ask that God will put His word (law) in your mind, as He promised the Israelites, and stamp it on your heart to live life as His own in all the days of life He has given you.<\/em><\/strong><br \/><strong><em>Ask that the mind of God shall put you in a position of having His mercy continually in the life journey, so that your unrighteousness and sins shall not be remembered before Him.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>FAITH CAPSULE: Why not have a mind for God?
