FAITH CAPSULE: <\/strong>Waiting on God is giving regard to God.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

1 Samuel 13<\/em><\/strong> <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Wait on God always.
Understand and know what it means to wait on God.
Knowing to ask, seek, and knock is waiting on God.
Waiting on God is walking or running to gain God’s presence.
Waiting on God is walking with God, before God, in God.
Isaiah 40:31<\/em><\/strong> records,\u00a0\u201cBut those who wait on the Lord shall renew their strength; They shall mount up with wings like eagles, they shall run and not be weary, they shall walk and not faint.\u201d<\/em><\/strong>
In waiting on God, are you counting the clock or counting, waiting on the time of God?
Time belongs to God.
Man creates the clock.
Looking at the clock is not waiting on God; it is an avenue to self-destruction.
Looking into the timing of God is waiting on God, the evidence of obedience to God, to gain the attention of God.
A believer in God must understand how to wait and endure a period of waiting on God.
Waiting can be a delay but never a waste of time.
Saul could not wait for God in His command through Samuel to the Israelites at war against the Philistines.
King Saul could not wait for seven days, the time of God.
God testified about David when Saul failed to wait on God.\u00a0
God spoke through Samuel for the disobedience of Saul:\u00a0\u201cBut now your kingdom shall not continue. The LORD has sought for Himself a man after His own heart, and the LORD has commanded him to be commander over His people because you have not kept what the LORD commanded you.\u201d (1 Samuel 13:14)\u00a0<\/em><\/strong>
David knows and understands what it means, as he consistently obeyed by waiting on God before making moves.\u00a0
Wait on God; continually meditate on the word of God that does not return to Him void.
Meditation is to activate faith and not become a victim as a wasted one.\u00a0
With meditation, you shall gain the strength of God and good courage, as some scriptural verses point out:
Psalm 37:7, \u201cRest in the Lord, and wait patiently for Him; Do not fret because of him who prospers in his way, Because of the man who brings wicked schemes to pass.\u201d<\/em><\/strong>
Psalm 40:1, \u201cI waited patiently for the Lord; And He inclined to me, and heard my cry.\u201dPsalm 62:1, \u201cTruly my soul silently waits for God; From Him comes my salvation.\u201d<\/em><\/strong>
Psalm 62:5, \u201cMy soul, wait silently for God alone, for my expectation is from Him.\u201d<\/em><\/strong>
Hosea 12:6, \u201c\u2026 wait on your God continually.\u201d<\/em><\/strong>
The word of God is strong.
The Word of God is not foolish; it is foolishness not to wait on God in all areas of life.
The word of God is God.
Make it a way of life to wait on God.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
