Giving God a reasonable sacrifice will allow Him to direct you in all areas of life. Jacob and his family were to go down to < ?xml version='1.0' encoding='utf-8'?>Egypt to avoid famine and to join Joseph. Jacob did not leap into the journey; instead he gave it to the Lord first. Genesis 46:1-3, \u00d2So <\/i><\/b>Israel<\/i><\/b> took his journey with all that he had, and came to <\/i><\/b>Beersheba<\/i><\/b>, and offered sacrifices to the God of his father Isaac. 2 Then God spoke to <\/i><\/b>Israel<\/i><\/b> in the visions of the night, and said, \u00d2Jacob, Jacob!\u00d3 And he said, \u00d2Here I am.\u00d3 3 So He said, \u00d2I am God, the God of your father; do not fear to go down to <\/i><\/b>Egypt<\/i><\/b>, for I will make of you a great nation there.\u00d3 <\/i><\/b>Because Israel (Jacob) offered sacrifices that were reasonable, God showed up on his behalf. Israel heard from God all that was needed in order for him to embark on his journey. In another example of a reasonable sacrifice, Abraham without doubt had given up Isaac in his heart as a sacrifice to God. Genesis 22:11-13, \u00d2But the Angel of the LORD called to him from heaven and said, \u00d2Abraham, Abraham!\u00d3 So he said, \u00d2Here I am.\u00d3 12 And He said, \u00d2Do not lay your hand on the lad, or do anything to him; for now I know that you fear God, since you have not withheld your son, your only son, from Me.\u00d3 13 Then Abraham lifted his eyes and looked, and there behind him was a ram caught in a thicket by its horns. So Abraham went and took the ram, and offered it up for a burnt offering instead of his son.\u00d3<\/i><\/b> What are you giving up to God? All that you have, all that you are and all that you can be is in the hand of God. It is clear in the pages of the Bible that every reasonable sacrifice will bring forth God\u00d5s attention in every area of life. Will you consider the kind of sacrifice that you are rendering unto God? If your sacrifice is reasonable He will give you a reasonable visitation.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
