{"id":3812,"date":"2012-03-25T00:00:00","date_gmt":"2012-03-25T00:00:00","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/faithprescription.gleeckit.com\/2012\/03\/25\/know-his-name-to-trust-him\/"},"modified":"2012-03-25T00:00:00","modified_gmt":"2012-03-25T00:00:00","slug":"know-his-name-to-trust-him","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/faithprescription.com\/?p=3812","title":{"rendered":"Know His Name To Trust Him"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><b>FAITH CAPSULE:<\/b> Those who trust Him enough to seek Him find the secret of knowing the name to call.<\/p>\n<p><b><i>Psalm 18<\/i><\/b><br \/>\n&nbsp;<br \/>\nThose who know His name (not those who know about His name) will put their trust in Him.<br \/>\nHis name is Mighty God; the all sufficient, and that settles it. The book of Proverbs 18:10 testify about the awesomeness power of His name stating that, &ldquo;<b><i>The name of the LORD is a strong tower; the righteous run to it and are safe. (Proverbs 18:10)<\/i><\/b><br \/>\nThe name of God that you know will work for you. If you know Him as healing God and you call Him for healing He will answer. You call Him with understanding and knowledge not because you are conversing with people around you that are calling Him healer. Know it that God is the healing healer; the only God that reverses the irreversible and the God that makes a way where there is no way.<br \/>\nThe Psalmist said <b><i>&ldquo;For you, LORD, have not forsaken those who seek You&rdquo;. (Psalm 9:10)<\/i><\/b> David recognized God as God that does not forsake those who seek Him. David called Him by His name because he knows Him as a deliverer.<br \/>\nDo you know His name? Which God are you calling concerning your challenge? How will you call Him when you do not know His name?<br \/>\nThe Psalmist said it all in this same verse when he said <b><i>&ldquo;For you LORD have not forsaken those who seek You&rdquo; (Psalm 9:10)<\/i><\/b><br \/>\nDavid trust Him enough and stated, <b><i>&ldquo;I have set the Lord always before me; because He is at my right hand I shall not be moved.&rdquo; (Psalm 16:8)<\/i><\/b> Why not engage the testimonies of trust and be encouraged in the Lord? David know to trust in God as his strength; his rock and his fortress as a result he declared, <b><i>&ldquo;I will call upon the Lord, who is worthy to be praised; so shall I be saved from my enemies.&rdquo; (Psalm 18:3)<\/i><\/b> Get to know God, keep His testimonies by meditating on His testimonies.&nbsp;<br \/>\nThose who trust Him enough to seek Him find the secret of knowing the name to call.<br \/>\nWhen you seek Him, you will have word encounter; He will reveal Himself; and He will send you with His name. When you seek Him you will also know to put your trust in Him.<br \/>\nGod is a God of identity and He will not show up to you or send you without backing you with His name. Trust Him and you will rest and not rust away.<br \/>\n&nbsp;<br \/>\n<b>Prayer for today:<\/b> <i>Ask for the grace to trust in Him and only in His name fully.<\/i><br \/>\n&nbsp;<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>FAITH CAPSULE: Those who trust Him enough to seek Him find the secret of knowing the name to call.
