{"id":4919,"date":"2014-04-11T06:09:14","date_gmt":"2014-04-11T06:09:14","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/faithprescription.com\/?p=4919"},"modified":"2014-04-11T06:09:14","modified_gmt":"2014-04-11T06:09:14","slug":"integrity-3","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/faithprescription.com\/?p=4919","title":{"rendered":"INTEGRITY"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><b>FAITH CAPSULE:<\/b> What we do is what reflects our belief.<\/p>\n<p><b><i>Job 2<\/i><\/b><\/p>\n<p>God spoke to Jeremiah, <b><i>\u201cStand in the gate of the <\/i><\/b><b><i>Lord<\/i><\/b><b><i>\u2019s house, and proclaim there this word, and say, \u2018Hear the word of the <\/i><\/b><b><i>Lord<\/i><\/b><b><i>, all you of Judah who enter in at these gates to worship the <\/i><\/b><b><i>Lord<\/i><\/b><b><i>!\u2019\u201d <sup>3\u00a0<\/sup>Thus says the <\/i><\/b><b><i>Lord<\/i><\/b><b><i> of hosts, the God of Israel: \u201cAmend your ways and your doings, and I will cause you to dwell in this place.\u201d\u201d(Jeremiah 7:2-40) <\/i><\/b>\u00a0The Lord God\u2019s calling is not only for the Israelites but to all of the acclaim believers of today that is those who go to worship God. The key message as stated by God is, <i>\u201cAmend your ways and your doings\u201d<\/i> By virtue of this word of God, it is evident that many are entering to worship God but not all are dwelling in Him (His presence) because their ways and their doings does not line with His word. As an acclaim believer, how are your ways and your doings?<\/p>\n<p>Every man\u2019s ways are evident in their walk. Also it is a man\u2019s walk that will determine where man\u2019s sits what man stands for. Whatever man stands for is direct pointer to man\u2019s doings. In life, man\u2019s walk is what provokes God\u2019s blessing over man\u2019s life. The psalmist buttress in <b><i>Psalm 1:1, \u201cBlessed is the man who walks not in the counsel of the ungodly,<\/i><\/b><b><i> nor stands in the path of sinners, nor sits in the seat of the scornful\u201d<\/i><\/b> Man\u2019s ways must be steadfastly devoted to God\u2019s word (godly counsel) which should have effect on man\u2019s doings.<br \/>\nMan\u2019s ways is what reflects man\u2019s life styles. Steadfast devotion is life styles, it is a way of worshipping God and it demonstrates man\u2019s integrity. Integrity is encased in steadfast devotion. <b><i>Proverb 11:3 stated, \u201cThe integrity of the upright will guide them\u2026\u201d <\/i><\/b>To be guided belongs to acclaim believers with amended ways and doings. To be guided is to dwell in the presence of God. A believer whose ways is steadfastly devoted (integrity) shall not cease from the presence of God.<\/p>\n<p>Job was described by God, <b><i>\u201c\u2026<\/i><\/b><b><i>there is<\/i><\/b><b><i> none like him on the earth, a blameless and upright man, one who fears God and shuns evil? And still he holds fast to his integrity, although you incited Me against him, to destroy him without cause.\u201d (Job 2:3)<\/i><\/b> Job was a man whose ways and doings were steadfast before God and the presence of God gave an impenetrable edge hedge which no force could access. The Satan could not violate the guard around Job and he testified by questioning God, \u201cHave You not made a hedge around him, around his household, and around all that he has on every side\u2026?\u201d<br \/>\nJob\u2019s guard was intact because of his steadfastness in God (the root of integrity) and his doings were of God and God could testify of his integrity. What we do is what reflects our belief.<\/p>\n<p><b>Prayer for today:<\/b> <i>Ask God to teach you, lead you and direct you in all your ways.<\/i><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>FAITH CAPSULE: What we do is what reflects our belief.
