{"id":5134,"date":"2014-07-25T05:52:28","date_gmt":"2014-07-25T05:52:28","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/faithprescription.com\/?p=5134"},"modified":"2014-07-25T05:52:28","modified_gmt":"2014-07-25T05:52:28","slug":"just-trust-him","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/faithprescription.com\/?p=5134","title":{"rendered":"JUST TRUST HIM"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><b><span style=\"color: #000000;\">FAITH CAPSULE:<\/span><\/b><span style=\"color: #000000;\"> Trusting God for a minor provision builds up to trusting Him for a major provision<\/span><i><span style=\"color: #000000;\">.<\/span><\/i><\/p>\n<p><b><i><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Daniel 6<\/span><\/i><\/b><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000;\">It is one thing to claim having faith but it is another level to exercise faith by demonstrating trust in God when there is a life consuming challenge. The plot against Daniel was an attempt to permanently terminate him. The bible recorded that when the plot was confirmed, <\/span><b><i><span style=\"color: #000000;\">\u201c\u2026Daniel<\/span><span style=\"color: #000000;\"> went home, and in his upper room, with his windows open toward Jerusalem, he knelt down on his knees three times that day, and prayed and gave thanks before his God, as was his custom since early days.\u201d <\/span><\/i><\/b><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Daniel\u2019s reaction was the evidence of his trust in God. Daniel did not call for prayer partner to lift him up because praying has been part of his make. Daniel\u2019s trust in God was not an overnight build up. <\/span><span style=\"color: #000000;\">If you have been trusting God for a minor provision, when the need for a major provision presents itself trusting in God should also be in place. Experience that brings out the best out of man in the journey of life builds up and adds up to empowerment. An adage says, \u2018Rome was not built in a day.\u2019<\/span><span style=\"color: #000000;\">\u00a0 <\/span><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Practice is what makes perfect. Practicing faith will bring out the best to stand tests as they come in the way of a believer. <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000;\">The bible verse pointed it out that, \u201cDaniel <\/span><span style=\"color: #000000;\">prayed and gave thanks before his God, as was his custom since early days.\u201d Truly, in the documentation of his early days, he declined the proposal for him to be fed with portion of Kings Delicacies. It is written, <\/span><span style=\"color: #000000;\"><b><i>\u201cBut Daniel purposed in his heart that he would not defile himself with the portion of the king\u2019s delicacies, nor with the wine which he drank; therefore he requested of the chief of the eunuchs that he might not defile himself. <\/i><\/b><\/span><b><i><span style=\"color: #000000;\">\u00a0Now God had brought Daniel into the favor and goodwill of the chief of the eunuchs.<\/span><span style=\"color: #000000;\">\u201d (Daniel 1:8-9)<\/span><\/i><\/b><span style=\"color: #000000;\"> Daniel\u2019s purposed heart granted him favor. By virtue of his understand as regard to how God reward those that trust in Him, he did not hesitate to activate trust despite the plot against him. <\/span><span style=\"font-family: Times New Roman;\"><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Daniel trusted God as his only divine source and provider. Are you looking outside of God as your source for answer to your challenge? There was a foundation in Daniel\u2019s defining moment. Daniel\u2019s foundation had been in trusting God for His word. Trusting God is resting in God and not rusting in the world of challenges. <\/span><b><i><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Proverbs 3:5-6<\/span><\/i><\/b><span style=\"color: #000000;\"> admonished us, <\/span><b><i><span style=\"color: #000000;\">\u201cTrust <\/span><span style=\"color: #000000;\">in <\/span><span style=\"color: #000000;\">the <\/span><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Lord <\/span><span style=\"color: #000000;\">with <\/span><span style=\"color: #000000;\">all <\/span><span style=\"color: #000000;\">your <\/span><span style=\"color: #000000;\">heart<\/span><span style=\"color: #000000;\">, and lean not on <\/span><span style=\"color: #000000;\">your<\/span><span style=\"color: #000000;\"> own understanding; in <\/span><span style=\"color: #000000;\">all <\/span><span style=\"color: #000000;\">your<\/span><span style=\"color: #000000;\"> ways acknowledge Him, And He shall direct <\/span><span style=\"color: #000000;\">your<\/span><span style=\"color: #000000;\"> paths.\u201d<\/span><\/i><\/b><span style=\"color: #000000;\"> Allow trusting God to have a place in your.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p><b><i><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Prayer for today:<\/span><\/i><\/b><i><span style=\"color: #000000;\"> Ask God to impact you with all that it will take for you to trust God and not to fail when challenges demands your trust in God.<\/span><\/i><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>FAITH CAPSULE: Trusting God for a minor provision builds up to trusting Him for a major provision.
