{"id":5172,"date":"2014-08-14T04:59:31","date_gmt":"2014-08-14T04:59:31","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/faithprescription.com\/?p=5172"},"modified":"2014-08-14T04:59:31","modified_gmt":"2014-08-14T04:59:31","slug":"the-indescribable-gift-of-god","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/faithprescription.com\/?p=5172","title":{"rendered":"THE INDESCRIBABLE GIFT OF GOD"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><b>FAITH CAPSULE: <\/b>Jesus is the gift of God to us from God.<br \/>\n<b><i>John 4:1-26<br \/>\n<\/i><\/b>Among challenges that revolves in acclaimed believer\u2019s life is the inability to know who they are or what has been made available for them as gift from God. One that does not know what is available will not know how to engage the gift before him\/her. One who does not know to give will not know how to receive.<br \/>\nBible makes us to realise, <b><i>\u201cA man who is in honor, yet does not understand, is like the beasts that perish.\u201d (Psalm 49:20) <\/i><\/b>The honor bestowed on man is a gift from God. For those that see it as gift and engage it, cue into it will always claim it for their good.<br \/>\nThe gifts of honor are listed in <b><i>Psalm 8:4-6 \u201cWhat is man that You are mindful of him, and the son of man that You visit him? For You have made him a little lower than the angels,and You have crowned him with glory and honor. You have made him to have dominion over the works of Your hands; you have put all things under his feet.\u201d<br \/>\n<\/i><\/b>Do you know to embrace what God has given to you when it becomes unwrapped (revealed) to you?<b><br \/>\n<\/b>Jesus was speaking to the Samaritan woman that came to draw water.\u00a0 <b><i>\u201c\u2026Jesus said to her, <\/i><\/b><b><i>\u201cGive Me a drink.\u201d<\/i><\/b><b><i> <sup>\u00a0<\/sup>For His disciples had gone away into the city to buy food.\u201d (John 4:7-8)<\/i><\/b> The Samaritan sure has excuse not to receive since she does not know how to give when she responded to Jesus\u2019s request.<br \/>\nNo reasonable excuse before God.<br \/>\nIt is written, <b><i>\u201c\u2026the woman of Samaria said to Him, \u201cHow is it that You, being a Jew, ask a drink from me, a Samaritan woman?\u201d For Jews have no dealings with Samaritans.\u201d\u201d (John 4:9)<br \/>\n<\/i><\/b>Clearly, ignorance is what makes a destitute of a believer. Jesus answered to the ignorance of the Samarian woman, <b><i>\u201cIf you knew the gift of God, and who it is who says to you, \u2018Give Me a drink,\u2019 you would have asked Him, and He would have given you living water.\u201d<\/i><\/b><b><i> (John 4:10)<\/i><\/b><br \/>\nJesus is the gift of God to us from God.<br \/>\nIt is not enough to know about the gift of God but to know the gift of God. Those who fully knows the gift of God often launch into God\u2019s gift to engage the blessings of God\u2019s gift. Any man that accepts and launch into the gift of God takes a stand on a solid ground which cannot be shaken or violated. It is impossible to have accepted God\u2019s gift and maintain a status of a vessel to be pitied.<br \/>\n<b><i>Prayer for today:<\/i><\/b> Ask God for the grace to know and engage the fullness of His gift at all times.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>FAITH CAPSULE: Jesus is the gift of God to us from God.
